Baldur's Gate: The Sword Coast Chronicles (BGTSCC for short) is a persistent, online role-playing world in the game Neverwinter Nights 2. Our world is set in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting, using the second and third edition lore as a canvas. The server has been running for more than a decade, and as of 2025 is set in the in-setting year of 1361 by Dale Reckoning.
We have a lively DM team who runs events and plots, making the world come alive. We have excellent builders who make the world look amazing, beautiful and scary, in all the appropriate places. We have clever developers who have expanded upon the mechanics of the base game Neverwinter Nights 2 and added spells, skills, feats, classes and much more. And our hard-working media team has added many models and appearances to the game, so you can customise how your character looks far beyond what comes with the vanilla game. And our vigilant forum moderators keep the discourse clean, while allowing honesty and discussion.
