Plot lines for Commoners?

Hello All,

I was wondering if there were any plot lines or super low level adventures for commoners (ordinary folks) in the works?

I have a new Commoner Character who works as an apprentice to alchemists and scribes:

His Name is Christopher Bell, he lives and works in Baldur's Gate - his dream is to one day use magic!
His employers have gifted him a set of Apprentice Clothes (with fire resistance) to help keep their investment alive...
As part of his back history, while tagging along on an expedition to the hill top ruins he found a magic item that he has no idea how to use...he researches and studies this item as time permits...

(and of course he needs to raise his UMD skill to do so - as a matter of pride he wants to figure it out himself)

I dont know of any plots per se but ive tried similar roles with mixed success. I would say that some IC posts here on the forums will possibly net you some greater interest, and gathered RP/interest is generally the best catalyst for "plots".

Thats very easy. A DM can make a plot that an X resident of BG lost his cat and commoners can walk around the city trying to find it. There is also a quest out side the city where you have to find the rat, which ideally suited for the commoner class. The commoner class has so much potential
