I feel like an old man even admitting it, but I have close to no experience with social media.

These are all great suggestions, however, and all of them could help encourage NWN2 community population growth.

Would anyone or anyones a little savvier than I be interested in being our public outreach coordinators/marketing gurus? If so, shoot me a PM and we can discuss it in more depth?

I dont think it will help why couse i have see many thing of Forgotten realms on the face book it's look emtiness on any page there is from any FR games

I think reddit would be more appealing. Customizing the sidebar is a boon and associating with existing subs could be helpful. There are already plenty of communities that may be interested once they find out about it. It may be slow going, but everything helps. I do not have a facebook, so, I cannot comment on its effectiveness.

I may get on board if we end up going with a sub-reddit. There are many things that could be done, and keeping new regular posts on the sub is one of them.

Having a bot generate the traffic from posts on this site is pretty easy to accomplish.

what we need is keep the spirit up and what is the best way then to do that is we build mode for the Nwn2 Like Icewind dale heart of winter and Icewind dale 2 and Baldur's Gate 2 ,Demon Stone it will help a lots so people dont forget the World of Forgotten Realms couse you real get out of the energy from a server

Its my understanding that we could integrate a wiki page on a sub-reddit as well: https://www.reddit.com/wiki/wiki . I am not sure if we would want to go this route, but if reddit's wiki is sufficient enough to work with our stuff it may be worth looking into.

Making custom and optional flairs could let you link your toon's name or NWN2 account if you like. I should also like to point out that there is already a Neverwinter Nights community on reddit, https://www.reddit.com/r/neverwinternights .

coming from a marketing background the issue is wondering why people quit or leave? it doesn't seem to be a problem getting noticed ((as we have the highest server player count out there)) but seeing if there's a cancer problem or something that can be fixed to keep people around weather it be a survey they could fill out on the fourms or such.

as for generating more players it's mostly word of mouth that get's it out there but most of the kids nowadays are so used to the fast leveling and normality of MMO's they forget or have never learned the value of Roleplay.
