simini's paintings

Unread post by Arasinya » Mon Feb 13, 2017 4:18 pm

I thought I'd start one of these again because Leonia's sketchbook won't be continued for obvious reasons, and I have been secretly working on some paintings (which I feel more confident about anyway).

Please note that I don't accept commissions, I'm sorry!

Wow. Here I thought you were an impressive artist before. Your skills have grown considerably in the last few years, above and beyond what they were in 2012!

Amazing work, Arasinya!

Obviously the second one is the most amazing.

You rock, always have and always will :) But Maecius is right, you are improving a lot! Now let us see you paint since you say youre better at that  :D

But damn this is awesome, Talas looks amazing, he reminds me of that Sith Lord Malgus from the Old Republic for some reason.

Thank you all very much! I'm happy to say that I see the progress too - there is a good reason I didn't include my first ever bgtscc portrait in this post after all :) becauseit'snotgreat.

I don't accept any commissions, I'm sorry. It's a hobby that I would rather not turn into work and so I will stick to painting whoever I think might be interesting to paint that day.

Updated with painting of Sirion. Since I never did really like how that drawing turned out.

Gorgeous work! Although Sirion's lacks a bench. ;)

Absolutely stunning stuff. I would adore the chance to discuss techniques, because there is a magnificent diffused, atmospheric quality to them that is simply fabulous. And makes me want to throw my wacom in the trash.

And here I am wishing I could even remotely create digital art as beautiful as yours, and screw the mess that painting makes (-: Shoot me a PM whenever, Fury!
