I wanted to take a moment to thank Ameris and Telia Santraeger, Tarina, and Reine in the Pathfinder's Guildhall today for letting me shake off the rust, and giving me a great reintroduction to the Server via Roleplaying. Thank you so much!

Re: Thread of infinite appreciation!!
I want to take this particular time to thank someone who's always been one of the most wonderful people in the world to me, since the very first time I encountered them in game.
Nomster,
You are one of my oldest friends on BGTSCC. I can literally remember the very first time we RPed together (it was the VileThings/Dreams of Dedandre story), and you were amazing to me then and have been amazing to me ever since. We've had our ups and downs (who hasn't?) and I imagine there were a few times me (or maybe my characters
) have made you want to tear your hair out, but you've never held it against me, and have always been there to listen to my ramblings and give me perspective.
You've gotten the short end of the stick more than once when it comes to the way people have treated you, but you should never let it get you down. You are and will continue to be one of the most creative and talented people I've had the honor to get to know.
Keep being awesome (you couldn't keep from it if you tried).
So, for the RP, the talks, the fun times, the fighting, and all teh dramaz in between..
Thank you. Sincerely.

Thank you #2.
Truthiness,
I don't think there's anyone I've RPed with quite so much as I have you. I don't know if we were really fast friends at first, but we got pretty close at some point, and I've watched your attitude and your role play both grow and mature to the point that I think you are literally one of the most fair and level-headed players on the server. I'll always cherish the relationships that your two main characters have had with Endelyon, and you've always been there for me when I'm feeling down in the dumps and overworked and stuff.
Never doubt that your interactions with people are meaningful. Have more confidence in yourself--and not just confidence, but some pride, too. You have become a model player, and a dear friend. I'm so glad that I've been able to bring some enjoyment into your time here, as well. You deserve it.
Thank you.

Thank you #3.
Bird Clan,
I don't even know what to begin to say. I love you all so much that thinking about it, I could cry. No one has ever made me feel so welcome, so loved, so confident in myself. If it wasn't for Lyrewyn renewing my interest in the game and going out of her way to make things fun for me when I rolled Endelyon, I know for a fact that I wouldn't even be here playing anymore, much less helping the staff keep the lights on or anything else.
Mori and Grimcheese, you two might have come along a little later, but you are no less special to me. You've stuck with me through good and bad, through thick and thin, and given me the motivation I needed to put my heart into everything I do.
I know I'm being sappy, but I mean it when I say that I don't know what I'd do without you. So, thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. It still doesn't feel like enough. I'll never be able to repay all that you've done for me.

Re: Thread of infinite appreciation!!
Thank you #4 (final)
Selande, Valefort, chambordini, thids, Deathgrowl, ShortRedandLoud, Ged, TarnishedSoul (and other IRC regulars or former regulars I may be forgetting):
You guys are awesome. Some of you I barely have ever even gotten to RP with, but the IRC channel is my home away from home. Keep being hilarious, and never start taking things too seriously.
Chipowski, Fury, PiaMango:
Thanks for jumping into the SCCE RP with open arms. I felt like players in general didn't have much interest in this sort of RP, and your enthusiasm has made me feel like I'm not just trying to shoehorn boring economics into a world of fantasy adventure and excitement. Thanks for the RP we've had so far, and I look forward to the RP that the future may bring.
Rasael, Duster47, QC staff, Area Builders, and DMs:
I'm not gonna worry much about a lot of flowery words for you guys. Not because I don't care as much, but hopefully my initiative and dedication to this project are a daily expression of that gratitude, because if I didn't think that this team was anything but excellent I would likely have not been a participant in the first place. You're all doing amazing work, and things have been difficult, as of late, but somehow through it all we've managed to persevere. Keep doing what you're doing, and let's make BGTSCC the best it's ever been.
The players/everyone else:
Thank you all. BGTSCC belongs to you, now, and though at times it has its problems, I love this community and I will never forget everything you've all done for me. Without the players, all of this would be meaningless.
Luna:
I know you'll likely never see this, but this is all here still because of you. You might get a lot of flak (even some spoken by yours truly) about growing apart from your admin duties, but at the end of the day, you put the right people in the right positions that allowed this server to move forward. It might have been a rocky start, and things might have felt a little disorganized, but look where we are now. After it was all said and done, you were what kept this server alive and the one who did what it took for a new generation to carry it forward. I can only hope that we leave the server as well off as you did.
I love you BGTSCC. I'll stop being all sappy and lame now.
Carry on.

Re: Thread of infinite appreciation!!
I find it amazing, after all these years, the community and server is still moving forward and keeps improving.
Past and present staff, players and unknown alien entities that make up this community is made of the stuff that makes diamonds jealous. Despite all the things that has happened over the years, all the hickups ive seen around here, it was just that.. a minor bump in the road.
Must be why I always keep returning.
Thank you to all you wonderful people here, yes that means YOU!

Re: Thread of infinite appreciation!!
Late 2006 saw four people huddled over a buggy toolset trying to hash out concepts deeply immortalized from a game almost a decade before it, fighting module packaging corruption and undocumented feature sets that almost brought the project to a halt with the plethora of discouraging and unpatched issues the engine presented along the way. Back then we never thought that this tiny project would amass to what it is now by attentive curators and an imaginative playerbase. While I'm known more for my general negativity, it isn't without an appreciation of what has been cumulatively molded by everyone that has taken part in the project's existence, devel and player alike. For whatever it's worth from a co-founder I'm proud of the accomplishments everyone has attained here, and thanks for putting up with my rambling.

Re: Thread of infinite appreciation!!
I'd like to give a shout out to Rasael.
He did a bunch of script fixes and crash-proofing with his last update, the one Endelyon staged at the beginning of the weekend, and it seems to have resolved our crashing problem. So far there have been no crashes (outside of the unrelated DDOS attacks), and the server has made it to the 9 hour reset mark multiple times.
It might be too early to claim complete victory, but we're definitely much, much more stable than we've been the last couple of months!
And for that, Rasael gets the kudos!

Re: Thread of infinite appreciation!!
Been gone from the game for about 2 or 3 years now and would like to give a shout out to pretty much everyone for keeping this wonderful server alive, this game and community is unique and I doubt there will be another game or server like it. Rp based d&d style games like this just aren't made anymore, its rare as a unicorn. Again thank you to all the great players and staff that put there imaginations together to make one of the greatest fantasy fiction creations I've ever had the pleasure to be apart of.

Sad to hear that you're leaving, Peccator. I've enjoyed our IC interactions together, even if they have often been complicated.
Good luck with RL!
