The above song is the only epic thing that the final boss fight had.

Testing the limits of the knew spoiler feature.

The soundtrack to this game is good, but when on personal pursuits, this music sometimes just fits.

Usually some...overwhelmingly depressing(but wonderful written) music by Porcupine Tree.

They cut out the last three minutes...

And...just for the lolz...

First because i love the whole "Murder murder murder" background part. So when he aint growling, it enjoy it :P

Second because its one of the few bands where i kinda love 99.9% of everything they make.

Za'than Za'amal(Elsewhere!)
Thumbler Trunk-son(Also Elsewhere!)
Inanis Umbra(Active)
Molag'ur(He stink!)

Dunno why, but today I am strangely in an excellent mood. Time to celebrate, the childish way!

And there was much rejoicing! My son just loves this song!

Depends on the mood I am in.

Angry DM (Darth Arkanis) - "Flight of the Valkarie" by Wagner (or for those of you more dedicated to old movies a sound byte from, "Apocalypse Now.")

As-a-player-running-quests - Old country - I put the iPod on shuffle and listen to Randy Travis, Merle Haggard, George Jones - when I get to the wyvren quest I like putting on "Hot Hot Hot" in hopes that a whole pile of Effriti's spawn...

Logging-on-my-epic-to-metagame-the-soandso-who PvP'd me - "Karma" by Kristina Maria

PvP where we are pretty well matched - "Stuck In The Middle" by Stealers Wheel... reminds me of "Reservoir Dogs" though...

The PC on-a-mission music is definitely Darth Vaders theme song... it is especially good when I am on with my wee Gnome who really only wants cookies, a warm fire, and the comapny of friends and family...

Fishing music - Don Williams, "Got a Good Fire Going" but it tends to make me sleepy though and I end up losing all my bait, or losing the "trading insults war" I have going on with other fisher-folks.

Running through Fields of the Dead I like to put the soundtrack of, "Halloween" on and just put it on a loop... da-da-da, da-da-da, da-da-da, da-da, da-da-da, da-da-da, da-da-da..." (for those younlings who don't know what the frak I am talking about, Google the movie "Halloween"...)

Running a toon under lv 5 past the Goblins on the way to Beregost to get the fraking stock for Maltz... "Indiana Jones Theme." I generally yell OOC, "REGGIE START THE PLANE!!!" the whole time...

Anytime where I am in the presence of 5+ Dwarven players and there is just discussion and good natured PvP amongst us (ya, Dwarves like to beat on each other for fun sometimes...) I listen to: "Home For A Rest" by Spirit of the West, and just about any version of "Cotton Eyed Joe" as a follow up if the fights lasts for more than three or four minutes. This one gets taken to an extreme because I get up and do a dance that involves a lot of jumping around... being a single dad to an amazing 15yr old girl, I get "the look" where she rolls her eyes and says, "are you beating your friends up again, dad...?"

Other music as mood, character, and situation approprite. I Skype a buddy who is a good friend and long time player and we sing, "It's A Great Day To Be Alive" by Travis Tritt before we get in game...

I'll leave you with one final note... you know you are a Canadian red-neck when it is ten degrees below zero outside and you change into your summer wardrobe (shorts) because it is finally warming up. Long live Stompin' Tom Connors - peace and long life.

When I want peace and relaxation, or a tranquil moment of Classical awesomeness:

bonus points if Eden is watching this video and, most importantly, knows who Amilcare Ponchielli was. No matter what they say, the crescendo of "The Dance of the Hours" is simply epic.
