Too bad the cheating french are still in the tournament. But 4 out of 5 favourites (germany, spain, argentina and brazil) left before the semifinals. Not bad at all.

Belgium! Nice.

As a spectator, MAN! was it needed for Brazil to pick up that point. And Brazil did keep that pressure up to the end, which did the job for excitement. Notice I only care about whether I enjoy watching the game—with excitement!—or not!?!?

That Belgium and Brazil game was really entertaining. And even if Frace got a bit lucky and yes, Mbappe and Griezman has about as horrible conduct on a pitch as Neymar and half of FC Barcelona, Nyeleni :P But they are showing that they are capable of all facets of the game and not one singular naive approach.

You can call them boring or cheating or what not, but they have been adequately up for each type of game thrown their way, tactically they and Belgium are the only impressive teams at this world cup. I admire them for that and Pogba is just pure class, even if people wont admit it.

How beastly is Lukaku by the way? Maxed height and girth during character creation and he still weaves around midfielders nimbly and so frigging fast.. god I love that man

I think you mean PSG where Neymar and Mbappé play anyways.

So...I guess we can say that Team Play is the winning combo for this Cup Year, and solo shows with baggage teams have not produced. Great!

I'm rooting for Croatia today...but damn, if they win, its gonna cause all sorts of social issues with the Slavic rivalry. Ick.

The powers that be decided the team I have to root for and the team I want to win (last win in 1966) met in the quarter.
Sweden did play better then expected this world cup (We finally got rid of Zlatan and the brainless play around one super talented guy) but alas, there will always be an England!

England vs France in the final?

Bloody cheating french. Giroud and Mbappé especially. And thanks to the help of the referee too. Good defending by the french though.

LOL cheating again ?!! Come on besides a few stupid antics by Mbappe there was absolutely nothing, the match was played in a very good spirit (except maybe when the Belgians cut counter attacks brutally but that was tactical more than nasty).

FINAL, HERE WE ARE !

Problem is France only wins finals at home :). And, yes. Cheating French! Look at the defensive actions of Giroud.

I can't remember anything bad from Giroud .. aside from failing to score but the situations he was in were hardcore.

He clearly fouled Hazard very close to the french penalty box, which the referee didn't want to to see although he was nearby. And later at the centrefield some smaller issues.
