Background:
Born in the scarcely populated region of the Cold Lands, known as the Kingdom of Damara. Calc'ier enjoyed a rather typcal youth for a citizen of Heliogabalus. After learning his father had been a Knight in the Order of the Golden Lion, Calc'er became resolved to become a Paladin himself and serve Torm in the hopes of one day joining his fathers order. The Elderly Tormtar De Vraimant trained his son as best he could about the Penance of Duty which binds each Tormtar as well as the Debt of dereliction they must act upon. Becoming a member of the Order was all Calc'ier dreamed of and one day that dream was realized. Standing beside his father proudly for many years, Calc'ier learned much about the ways of a Paladin. As they both grew with the Order they saw the Tormtar begin to include men that were not Paladins. The Monks of the Yellow fist were one of such inclusions. Some were not as desirable to Calc'ier and even though tolerant he didnt understand why the Order would include the favored souls instead or Aasimar as Calc'ier was a bit of a provincial chap despite his best intentions. Scolded and reprimanded by the Order Calc'ier was immediately sent on a task with two purposes. One, to seek out reports of a Relic of one of the Damarans most cherished sons. Two, and what Cal thought was the impetus behind the whole ordeal. Learn of the different nations and cultures that make up Faerun. In the hopes to become more tolerant and understanding. Many months and many cultures later Calc'ier has arrived from the Moonshae Isles in Baldurs on the 6th of Mirtul in the year of the Bright Blade (DR). To investigate rumours of the heirloom being spotted at a local auction...
