Background: Thomas is the middle child of the powerful and wealthy Ganderwynn of Waterdeep. While his two brothers went on to further the family's stature, Thomas found himself mingling with an undesirable crowd. He joined a gang of deviants called the Iron Daggers that were into criminal activities of all kinds. This frustrated his father who had spent his life building the family name, for he was watching one of his sons bring it to the brink of destruction.

It wasn't really Thomas' intent however. Growing up within a wealthy family, he just did as he pleased, and this was no exception. This was his escape from the headaches that went into being groomed into a tool to further the gains of the family. Traveling with the rough crowd offered a new challenge, more invigorating than what he had been exposed to in the home. Whether it was right or wrong, it sure was a thrill.

However, one day this had gone too far and Thomas' father made the decision to disown him from the family. Thomas did not care much for the outcome, thinking it to be more of one of his father's strict punishments. It soon sank in that he was no longer welcome in the Ganderwynn home. Even worse fate would befell him as he realized that the Daggers only took him in because of his position within the family, and now he was worth more dead to them than alive. They easily turned on Thomas, first trying a simple assassination, which Thomas avoided. As a result of the failure, the gang started to use its political influence and the city of Waterdeep soon become Thomas' foe. Realizing this was a losing situation, Thomas made haste to escape the city. He traveled south and here is where the rest of the Tale begins.

Goals: The ultimate goal is survival. Thomas would also want to accumulate the wealth he lost when he was disowned. Furthermore, Thomas is a whimsical man and can seek new goals as his time in the area progresses.

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: Thomas' past does haunt him. Its very likely that Waterdeep(due to the true and false allegation), the Iron Daggers, and even his own family might wish to bring him in or have him disappear.

Thomas' father's name is Lordrin. He views Thomas as a mistake that cannot have anything to do with his business or family.

Thomas' elder brother is Eadric. He joined the guard and is bethrothed to the daughter of a minor noble in Waterdeep. He has bought into the accusations against his brother and wants to see him put to justice.

Thomas' younger brother is Octavio. He's shrewd and calculating like his father and looks forward to taking over the family business. He would love nothing more than to erase the stain that is Thomas from the family record.

The Iron Daggers are a ruffian gang that share their own section in the underworld of Waterdeep. They would not mind collecting on the account of Thomas' head.

Thomas' past is checkered with deeds and wrongs that could surface in the present. They may even be indirectly linked to the actions that Thomas has done as well, and he might not even know it.
