Biography
1204 DR: Azune was born in the Calimport, as a daughter of the halfling slave. She never knew, who was her father, but she did not really care about that.

Azune was living with her mother, and performing not many but easy tasks of her master, because of her age. Of course, she never wanted to end up like another slave, and because of that, at the age of twelve Azune decided to start living on her own. During the day, she packed all the things she needed (food for two days, additional set of clothes and a bedroll), and she left alone at night without warning. For a months she was hiding in the town, stealing a little amount of food from the common merchants every two or three days, so no one would notice. On the streets of Calimport she met many beggars, thieves and durnkards. Azune always tried to enstablish friendly relations with them, usually by offering a food or gold she stole. At the age of twenty she gathered alot of people around herself, after what she decided to create her own guild of thieves.

1235 DR: Her guild was performing small tasks and heists until Calimport succumbed to an invasion by the Black Horde of orcs. Azune decided to leave Calimport and to take the survived guild members with her. She decided to move to the east. After a year, her group arrived in Thay, and they started operating in new location, offering their services to the slavers, meanwhile stealing from them and thayan merchants. Her group were operating in Thay for thirty years. After her group was suspected in several crimes, she decided to move from Thay to other place.

1265 DR: Azune and her guild moved to the Waterdeep. She recruited a lot of the new members to the guild. Guild grew large enough to be able to perform more complicated tasks, and dangerous quests. Her guild was operating in Waterdeep for almost thirty years, but, for some reason, they found that they have almost nothing to do here. Guards were too suspicious, and someone else was operating in the town, thats why Azune decided to leave, until its too late.

1294 DR: Azune and her guild came back to the Calimport, and a large guild started operating again. Her actions were not unnoticed by others. She started feeling that when people of Calimport started avoiding their usual walking routes and paying more attention to the hooded persons sneaking nearby. But, greed got the better of her, and she decided to go for more. Her small guild started robbing and murdering wealthy and well known merchants, or even guards. It never was enough for her, and she started performing a well planned heists. At one night, when Azune was planning to attack another merchant, she gathered a group of her best thieves and prepared everything. When the merchant arrived, she had noticed that there is some more people around, also wearing hoods and waiting for something. Their group was quite small and they had all their group members more or less close to each other, while each member of Azune's group had different location. It was not hard for her to detect the leader of the unknown group. Merchant was on the road, and Azune was looking at the unknown leader, whil he was looking at her. Despite of that she decided to ignore the group and follow her plan. She whistled, and her group started the action. While one of her group mates was trying to drag attentiong of the guards and merchant, others started slowly gathering around and waiting for the second signal. Azune turned her head back, to have a look at the unknown group, but they had disappeared. When she was just about to give the second signal, she looked upon the caravan and noticed that the merchant, guards, and some of her group members are already dead. Azune decided to retreat immediately, but someone stabbed her in the back.

After time, she woke up in the dusty old house, with the barricaded windows. Her injury was not serious, she was unconscious, because someone used poison against her. Whe Azune got off the bed and tried to move towards the door, she heared a sound of the bow string. Someone was aiming at her, and Azune stopped. After a few moments, someone appeared behind her, and politely asked to wait in the room. After that, the mysterious person left for the several minutes, and arrived with a two more humans. All of them were wearing the same armor, cloaks and hoods. The leader of the group told her that they are member of the Thieves guild, and that they attacked her group because they were interfering in their plans. Azune was alive only because she was a group leader. Mysterious person offered her to join the guild. She had not choice but to agree, because she was alone, in the unknown place, surrounded by assassins. She agreed to join the thieves and to go through the standart initiation procedure, that involved acquisition of something valuable and a blood-oath. Since thieves already knew about the Azune's guild hideout, they took everything valuable fom it, so she passed the trial already. After giving a blood-oath, she started working with thieves in the capital of Amn, Athkatla. Azune was working with them for five years, and became a recognized member of the guild. She always hated sharing her profits with the rest of the guild and being quite limited in her actions. She always wanted to be in charge, but for the several reason it was not possible. It was not possible for her to become a head of the guild, and because of that Azune decided to ask for help someone else. She started keeping more gold for herself and avoiding sharing it with the rest of the guild. Azune became a common client on the black market of Amn, usually looking for specific items that were supposed to help her to become the leader of the guild.

She met many wizards and warlocks, who offered her very rare magical items, but it was not enough. Instead of offering her another magical item, a beautiful aasimar merchant offered her a different kind of help. For the huge gold payment, a planar offered her to make a pact with one of the 'powerful beings'. Azune agreed to pay him and to make a pact. A warlock performed the ritual, while Azune wished to become one of the best and beautiful thieves all over the Faerun. In exchange for her soul, a creature agreed to reward her. She blessed Azune and gave her a magical mirror. After looking in it, Azune appearance started changing, and eventually she looked like herself at a permanently seeming youthful age, but more beautiful and charismatic. The powers of the mirror then faded for good. Blessing of the fey made Azune more agile and dexterous. After the ritual, her plan was clear: come back to the guild and become a new leader. She had a rest for one day, and started heading back to the guild, thinking about her plan. She was passing through the market, and for some reason she felt a desire to steal something. Azune tried to resist, but after a few minuties it started almost killing her. She stepped into the shadows, and started looking for something valuable nearby. A moment later she found herself taking absolutely worthell items all over the market, like a flatwares, cheap decorative items and other things. While she was stealing from another merchant, she heared a familiar voices of her guild members asking random strangers about her. One of the thieves was already staring at her, defenitely surprised, because she looked quite different. He pointed at her, and all the group drew their weapons and slipped away from sight. At this moment, Azune decided to run away, trying to keep as much useless items as she could. She managed to run away and escape Athkatla, after what she moved to the other city - Esmeltaran.

1299 DR: Esmeltaran is also located in Amn, and was not the safest place for Azune to stay in. But halflings were a major presence there and it was easier to recognize atleast human members of the guild. She had not worried about thieves guild halfling, because she knew, that there are very few halflings in the guild. For two years she stayed in the city, spending the gold left, to rent a room in the inn. She was stealing more than she spent, and very soon her room in the inn became flooded with trash items, and even gold. She spent a lot of time drinking and playing dice games in the taverns. She was lucky in dicing, but if something went wrong, she was able to bluff everyone else and take the prize. Azune was stealing something from the almost every person she met, driven by unknown desire. She also have enjoyed placing bets in tavern fights. And usually Azune was the reason of these fights, as she used her skills to make tavern folks to attack each other. Sometimes she was leaving Esmeltaran for a while, and visiting other cities nearby.

1302 DR: In a tavern she saw an elf reading something. He was wearing a simple and elegant cloth, and was not looking like a wizard, or an experienced fighter. His clothing was not practical for a thief or rogue either. Azune thought that it will be easy gold. She found two thugs nearby and told them that the elf asked them to leave, because they smell like a deceased trolls. Two humans rushed to the elf, and one of them immidiately punched him in the face. Elf had not even tried to avoid the hit. As he raised his head, the second thug landed a strike with his dagger. For some reason, elf was still sitting, not trying to do anything. He slowly placed a paper he was reading on the table, and started standnig up. While he was doing that, all the injuries were already gone. An elf barely touched one of the thugs, after what a red flare appeared, and human died. The second one tried to escape, but the elf snapped his fingers, and the human was grappled by a magical hand, that simply crushed him in a few seconds. Elf took his paper and left the inn. Azune decided to follow him, without taking any items she had in her room. They were moving to the north. Azune stayed unnoticed, following the elf, and stealing from the every advanturer that passed by.
