Rumors spread of a tiefling recognized by many as Aramon heading up to Thundars Ride to patrol against possible undead, and coming back, hands soaked in blood with a load of equipment, one of the weapons looking to belong to the elf known as Sirion, those curious enough to ask would hear that the elf known as Arkaw has passed from the realm, a fatality of the chaos of the weave.

Flyers are being handed out in all places of the Coast, that can be reached. It seems an event is coming, that has been waiting for so long. Rumor has it, another Mage Faire is in planning. The Book Contest is just the first step for it and chosen well thought as something everyone can do without using magic while the weave is still recovering. Even a first, second and thirs price is waiting for the winners, if there is enough contestants.

((OOC: This is an ongoing previous thing. The deadline is the 13th November. Until them you can turn in your book so it can be judged.

The actual Mage Fair still needs to be scheduled. ))

An elven woman with colorfully dyed hair leaves posters posted in front of the Lyre, throughout the rest of Baldur's Gate city, and at the Friendly Arm Inn. She whistles as she works and doesn't leave any poster she puts up until the glue dries.

It will only last as long as any of the organziers has time. So better be there on time.

Brawl-Room Blitz!

A tournament of Fisticuffs and Brawling to be held at and by the Bladestone Foundation on the 20th of this Month.

No entry fee, but there will be possible prizes to be won!

Very simple rules... Armor and shields allowed, but no weapons! (and no shield bashing, that's a weapon)

Grappling? Sure!
Knuckled gloves? Absolutely!
Stealth? If you gotta!
Strength and Dexterity enhancement (and wisdom if you're that kind of person)? You bet!

Ward Types allowed:
Passive defense wards such as Mage Armor, Spiderskin, etc. Displacement/blur effects allowed 1 time person per match.

Ward Types not allowed:
Shapeshifting, passive defense wards that add some sort of damage reduction or full illusion effect such as stone skin, mirror image. No summons, thug your opponent yourself!

Choices of prizes will be dependent on number of participants to include but not limited to:
Weapons, armor, shields, trinkets, and other stuff!

but a mage rune those familiar would recognize as that of the Elven wizard Sirion Te'dwa.

Mages of the Sword Coast

You are invited to a morning, day, evening or night of informal mageduels. Rejoice. This event will take place in the Temple of Mystra near the East Gate.

If you are unfamiliar with the practice there are written instructions in the temple's duelling chamber, which is open and available for guests of the temple to make use of.

If you are not a mage I suppose we will not necessarily throw you out.
