Blessings of our Lady of Mysteries to you as well.
You are sorely missed here although it sounds like you are keeping yourself busy in Our Lady's service. I wish I had time to travel south. Sadly I am pressed for time with my own duties so as to struggle to even write this letter; I wish you every success in the ritual, however.
I did not want to keep you waiting for an answer. I'll write on a more personal note soon, when I find the time.
After the disappointment of having to cancel the Magefire Ceremony at the last minute, Aeili told Sister Neela that she was going for a walk in the forest. She has not been seen or heard from since.
Laitae enters the temple, wiping tears off her face. She gives Neela a sisterly hug, then sits down in quiet. She sits there for many hours, an occasional tear running down her cheek, before quickly wiping it away. She says nothing.
Laitae Lafreth, became Chosen of Mystra, former Great Reader of Candlekeep Nëa the Little Shadow Uranhed Jandinwed, Guide of Candlekeep
A man in a resplendent yellow cloak by the name of Eldarian Al’maire, and a blonde woman by the name of Eleanor Valo are seen entering the Church of Mystra in the late afternoon in Baldur’s Gate.
After they approach the altar within and pay their respects, the two are seen giving gifts to the priestess Neela on behalf of the temple of Lathander in Beregost. Eldarian presents a bag of gold to the woman and Eleanor pulls out a few freshly baked blueberry pies.
They hover in the temple for the next few minutes, chatting pleasantly to those within before they exit and make their way to their next destination.
Priestess Aeili, after hearing of this news and not having been there to greet the visitors, promptly collects an item from the Temple's treasury and proceeds to make her way to Beregost.
A small blonde woman that they would recognise as Eleanore from last week enters the temple carrying with her a heavy looking basket which they soon discover is filled with sweet lemon cookies. She offers the priestess to take as many as she likes and to take some for others who work at the temple. They spend some time discussing embroidery and their robes before Eleanore continues.
Priestess Aeili would tell High Priestess Neela Daren of a matter requiring her urgent attention. She then packs various implements suitable for magical experimentation and lets Neela know she is leaving for Elias Goodmane's Mage Tower in Gullykin. After briefly stopping by Sorcerous Sundries, Aeili is soon found spending the night at the Risen Phoenix in Beregost.
Standing outside the facade of the Church of Mystra in the East District, Odilon observes the distance between the Church building and the window of his rented room at the Blade and Stars.
"Well...I should be able to observe when the flock is most present from my perch..."
Hearing a rumble in his belly, he heads back to the Blade and Stars, hoping to procure a meal...which should impart energy for later notes and studies, on the development of a Mnemonicon.
As J.G. Ballard has said, "It's a mistake to hold back and refuse to accept one's own nature."
A rather exhausted looking Mystran priestess is seen exiting the Temple carrying a large tome in her hands and looked to be heading towards the Palace District.
A human woman in an expensive dress and with long, flowing black hair was seen hurrying through the alleys of the Eastern District towards the Temple of Mystra. The woman was clearly distressed, near despair.
Some time after, a man dressed in grey robes could be seen entering the Temple of Mystra as well.
Later in the evening, the pair was seen walking through the streets in a calmer fashion. The woman was even smiling a little but her features would have seemed shadowed in some way, as if being weighed down by something.
"I don't want to pretend at magic anymore. I want to be magic."

Within the temple, the woman is seen to kneel by the altar of Mystra for some time before the man arrives. When he does so, he kneels beside her. They move behind the altar, and eventually the woman prays quietly, weeping, while being held by the man. They seem reconciled as they leave the temple.
Having been away visiting another local temple at the time, Priestess Aeili consults with High Priestess Neela about the visitors upon her return to the Temple of Mystra and whether they left any requests with her that require following up.
She then slowly makes her way to the rear alcove of the Temple before starting preparations on another batch of Remove Disease scrolls which she intends to deliver to the Temple of Ilmater the following day.
A rather exhausted-looking blue-robed priestess takes two large tomes from the temple and begins to make her way to the palace district via the northern gatehouse, where she enters the Shelf of Many Books. She returns to the temple about an hour later, empty handed but with a rather relieved look on her face.
The church of Mystra reeks of incense this particular day, and anyone entering the temple would have heard one of the local priestesses chanting magical divinations for guidance from Mystra. The chants would continue through the entire day and well into the night.
A tired looking bearded man wearing a classy hat arrives in the temple carrying a very frightened chicken. He speaks with the priestess Neela quietly before taking a seat on one of the nearby pews, still carrying the frightened chicken. He might be seen speaking to the chicken, seemingly trying to calm it down. He would stay until someone who he was seemingly waiting for arrived... or if he was asked to leave.
