Caed, after spending some time before the fireplace within the Blade & Stars drafting upon a scroll, he places the paper among the pages of the Windspell's tome, nodding to Hesper the Innkeeper, as he does.
"I am certain a few will need to read this soon after they arrive...if they dally in their attentions, please, Hesper, remind them to check in with this." Caed drops a single finger upon the cover of the closed tome, creating a noticeable thump.

A single parchment, a letter sent and received, is stuffed between a few of the early pages of the Windspell's Almanac & Memorandum tome.
Friend Hesper~
A quickened greeting from the Windspells. We sit upon the Tradeway at the Friendly Arm. Do not worry that we setup rivals in our preference of lodgings—tis only that our latest adventures continually bring us to rest at this crossroads between so much...unknown, if that be the better word.
Hesper, friend and caretaker of us Windspells, I request you add this parchment to the Windspell almanac, so that our compatriot Castyl, may heed our words and find us in short time.
[the letter continues, but with a new address]
Castyl~
The Windspells sit rested and reviewing the latest gathering of information, among safe abode and perhaps, new found strength. In time, you will experience all first hand, but in this moment, I send you word to dwell upon in wisdom, should it be that I can lure you southward to our company.
Of first and foremost importance is the recent recruitment of Gon and Garlic, of the little peoples. That said, their powers are great, if not greater than you or I. Such will be a direct asset to the Windspell Adventurers' Guild. They also add strategic mind, if not cunning, on the part of Gon...I can say less about the one called Garlic, though, they carry the Power in their being...perhaps, even the Art, combined. Tis a fine thing to see!
Of second and considered importance, is the recent developments since what we all have seen in the Cave of Hags, some short weeks ago. At a time of meeting with Garlic and Gon, we three were confronted by a company of men calling themselves the White Order. They presented themselves as some authority, and it was not my intention to challenge them, though I did not, as well, intend to simply accept their rank.
But of importance is the decisiveness they spoke, concerning the beings of Polvich, and of Pol. Of early times, I had considered and spoke of these being one and the same being, but alas...should we hark the words of these White Order, then it shall be of two separate entities, but...perhaps, of the same agenda, chaos, if not from the same origination. Let me explain in direct detail.
The White Order said thus, and I quote: "...the Horde of Pol are a number of groups of irregulars called to a banner, working evil in the name of Pol...he is one of the twins, they say, but he inspires evil...and so the Horde gathers exploiting opportunity."
The more senior White Order knight continued: "...Now this Polvich and his Cultists are more definative, a lich, Undead and his Cultists...they say Polvich had a follower named Pol, who went on to greater things as it were, the eternal struggle of the twins...."
"Polvich the Lich, who may be now destroyed, if adventurers are believed, had a follower Pol..who seized the black mace...and Pietr the white, the holder of the Mace of White, a Lathanderite paladin."
The knight finished his monologue soon after in haste, not answering a number of pertinent questions posed by Gon and Garlic. A few others were present there as well.
It would seem that many previous adventures still have relevance, in that what we have collected on Pietr the White previously, still holds value. Many threads still hang lose, but perhaps, we are closer to quilting them together for a clear tapestry. Or perhaps, not.
Of third and with hope, future importance, is that I held court of sorts in the Friendly Arm Inn courtyard, and did speak with a handful of worthwhile knights and scholars, that may aid in this adventure-turned-endeavor. If memory serves, they went by the names Charisa of House Flomeigne, a priestess, and one Aeric of Oghma, who himself had a copy of the Five Secrets of Polvich. Both seemed of a might and mind to enlist in whatever future endeavors, we find ourselves in...or, find us, in.
If you are on the road to the Friendly Arm soon after reading this, I besiege you to seek out any of the four I have named to you, and continue onward. I will join in company at the earliest that Time will let me return....
Your friend,
C. Wynter-Rose
The letter is easily viewed in the otherwise publicly available—but under watchful eye of Hesper—almanac of the Windspells.
A new entry appears in the tome kept on view by Hesper, in the Blade & Stars.
Fellow Windspells~
This is perhaps my final entry addressed to what remains of our initial group. Scattered like the winds, it seems.
I will be leaving with Hesper a few private instructions, if you are in need of locating me. I have found a few clues to the last adventures we chased, but I go to share these information with some that have the power and will to uncover great and hidden things. Perhaps...it is my fate, that I will never return.
