A scantily clad and pale-skinned figure, masked and cloaked in black leathers with elbow-length silk gloves, entered the Swordarm Inn a few days after the sighting of undead in the area. She paid for her own room that had a bath and spent the next few hours in its solitary quietness.

Later emerging smelling of lavender, those who saw her about town would remember her most distinctive feature: a tattoo on her lower abdomen of a giant scorpion with a dead cat in its claws. She enquired tentatively for information regarding the undead that had been sighted there in the last few days, and was rather generous with her money to get said information.

The pale-skinned figure would be informed a sedicent Knight of the Silver Rose by the name of Harkon, showed up to offer his assistance with the Undead plague. The innkeeper and other regulars witnessed the tall, silver-haired man in shining armor walking upstairs, and then returning about a candlemark later, after dispatching the walking dead and consecrating the ground. Eventual occupants of the rooms above might know more of what actually happened in the relatively long timespan.
This twisted culture got you feeding from its hand
But you will lose that food if you don't meet all their demands
And loyal is the soldier that gets slaughtered with the lambs
Examining the blueprints got you questioning the plans

*A bedraggled copper-haired figure, presumably some sort of sailor can be seen frequenting “The Goblet” of late. His hat, while quite ratty, and worn seems to have the tail of some small animal pinned to it. He spends most evenings at a table in the corner, drink hardly touched, brooding. He often strokes the corner of his moustache with thumb and forefinger. Here he can found, more often than not, dreaming of better days.*

The Inn keeper eagerly take the coin informs the stranger " A woman stays here quite often and rents all the rooms when she does, she pays a handsome sum and is always masked , I hear strange noises from up above but she pays me well enough that I don't ask question. If you wish to leave me a message for her I can do so and give it to her the next time she stays here ."

Fishermen and sailors alike report of large shadows swimming through the waves of late.
Some return to port with shredded nets and torn rigging.
On rough seas, in stormy conditions, some report of hearing the roar of a large beast or two in the distance.
Roiling fury of the Wave Mother's ocean.

A plate clad figure enters Roaringshore, his appearance unremarkable, prying no mans eyes from their daily routines. Upon reaching the merchants plateau, he removes his full plated helm, revealing a clean shaven scalp, bearing elaborate markings. Thick eastern accent can be heard as the figure engages in small talk with the merchants, exchanging coin with some and pocketing the newly purchased trinkets before moving down to the docks. Once there, he would seek out the Sea Wolf, presenting the first available crew member with a sealed letter, addressed to their captain.

The wooden planks creaked under the heavy sabatons as the man took a walk between the docked ships, appraising each briefly before returning to the plateau above, heading straight for the inn.

A day later the same man is seen conversing with the Captain of the Sea Wolf at the Broken Goblet, soon enough, they both move to the back rooms. Some time passes before the stranger emerges, clutching at his bleeding left side. The bald man sits at the bar, demanding some cloth and alcohol, paying double the price. He proceeds to tend to his wound as the Captain passes by, bearing a few bruises of his own.

The burly ruathymar captain of the Hellstorm crew was seen entering the Broken Goblet amidst a teeming gaggle of Black Stag pirates. The atmosphere in the otherwise rowdy tavern was overwhelmingly subdued as it always tends to happen whenever High Captain Ambrosio holds his meetings there. Given a wide berth by Cyrano's sailors for reasons that could only be speculated by those not in the know, Karn headed to the back rooms where he spent two entire candlemarks presumably deliberating with the feared High Captain.

He departed the meeting grim-faced, with an old sextant in hand.

After conversing briefly with a man in the Goblet, Wouveir would be seen to leave and head to the docks. Diving into the water and heading out into the bay.

A certain wavesoul, well known on the docks, has been harassing the sailors and other people around the docks of late, tithing for the Wavemother, more than usual.

A day after the return of the pirate flotilla the fearsome brig Seawolf enters the bay with her prow wounded but her crew in high spirits. Ladden with plunder, the vessel gently listed to starboard and with her sails slack in the early morning breeze she was as a powerful marine beast, drowsy and bloated after having had too much to eat. The Hellstorms, far from drowsy themselves emerge from the ship in numbers unseen since the war with Reynolds first broke out. Longboat after longboat they row out to shore amidst the roaring cheer of crowds gathered to honor the newest addition to the council of High Captains. Unsurprisingly on that day, crews that had previously slighted Hellstorm are nowhere to be seen.

The men take to carousing and spending their fortunes on the carnal delights Roaringshore has to offer fairly quickly. Fights inevitably break out and mounting casualties are reported throughout the tenday of which the men are given leave. Their captain seems to take no umbrage with his men acting like animals and even goes so far as to encourage such savagery amongst members of his crew. Codebreakers and those who pick fights with other crews are summarily executed and disposed of in the sea, their names stricken from the logs. It doesn't take long for press gangs to begin roaming the streets at dark, 'recruiting' replacements amongst the drunks and ne'er-do-wells of Roaringshore who look strong and hale enough to hold a blade.

High Captain Bjarngrim makes public his schism with the nation of Amn, stating that High Admiral Ambrosio now enjoys his and his crew's full support in his endeavor to unite the disparate forces of Roaringshore under the banner of freedom and plunder.

The Quartermaster of the Seawolf takes the final skiff ashore, amongst the final souls to take leave. Spirits are high and good words are thrown to one another. His feelings are sober though, telling each with a look in their eyes to watch their step. "Time is now when folk get sloppy. I dun' wan' none of you gettin' sloppy. We done somethin' t'day that ain't oft done. I'll join ya when my works done. Don't pike this up."
Ashore he embraces and enjoys the embrace of his fellows. Waving them on he promises to join them soon. His feet turn aside of theirs and he makes for the shipwrights.
Meeting the head of them at his books he gives a nod and sets his hands on the table, lurching over and blocking out the light of the high sun.
"I kinda need a new bow. An a...a new figurehead. Wolfs head on a naked lass. Yeah."
A bottle of whiskey is pulled from a pack and set on the table. "Ten days an' ya earn a bonus. Now mind me when I say ten. It don't mean a fort."
He seats himself then, opening the bottle and taking the first drink as the inevitable happens. The 'oh too many jobs', the 'oh don't have the lumber', the 'oh short of men'.
At the second drink he sets the bottle in front of the man and glares. Seconds pass as he sizes the man up like a pig at a festival.
'Make it happen. I know ya' able."
"Ten" he restates.
Getting up he makes for the high ground. The Broken Goblet. No lingering gaze for any (germbag) he strides past but grants a smile.
It better be ready in ten days.

Returning to Roaringshore with the rest of the Seawolf crew, Wouveir would hang back a little from the main pack of rowdy crew-mates heading for the Goblet.
As she makes her way towards the crowded pathway leading up the sea cliff, those around her would recognise her immediately, and would make room to allow her to pass. Some, heads bowed low would approach holding out tributes to the Wavemother, which she'd take and continue on. Others would whisper in hushed tones amongst themselves, rumour mongering as to the battle on seas, and the legendary feats displayed by the Hellstorm crew. A quick conversation with Bareil at the Queen's shrine, she'd deposit the gathered offerings there, and join her crewmates in the Goblet.

A one eyed man, clad in scales and chain, disembarks from one of the first skiffs. On his face, an evident show of relief as he stands on solid ground once more. A few drinks and a few laughs are shared with the newly appointed High Captain and his crew, before the man departs. With a lazy step he leaves the Goblet, moving towards the highest plateau. He stood there for but a fraction of a candlemark, gazing upon Roaringshore from above as it basked in Selune's grace, his expression void of any joy. Soon enough, he boards one of the caravans, exchanging coin for the ride.

The days go on in Roaringshore and no end seems in sight for the recently returned crew of The Seawolf in their revelry, save for the poor lost souls that let themselves swing from a gallows too early in life by their own deed.
The Quartermaster seems at each lynching and to divide his time between this, the repairs of the ship and The Broken Goblet. But mostly at the Goblet.
At times in fun with his fellows and sometimes in the wee hours far before dawn, drink yet in hand, the other to point what souls lost drunk are to be set in the wagon and brought aboard, pressed.
None too sober he is fast to welcome those he knows well, crew or not, and offer a drink and a chair, joke or dice. Even as a man is hung he is in the crowd, raising his bottle to them and spills some upon the ground in honor and offering when the dirty work is done.
