Many hours after the Brawl in the Goblet, the revelry has subsided as competitors, spectators and others depart for their respective holes with which they crawled out from. A recognizable water genasi would be seen to make her way down to the docks. She'd strap a small bulging bag to her webbing before diving off the pier. The water would froth and churn a few moments later, as a large shadow swims at pace beneath the waves out to sea.

A lithe, hooded figure was seen at the Roaring Goblet this past cycle. The purpose of this visit was in publicity of a rulebook for the dice game Tyegoam, publication of which with the anonymous figure identified himself some business relationship.

Shaking hands and buying drinks, the man handed out some press copies of the rule book and, upon request, taught some drunken patrons the rules to the game of Tyegoam. After departing the man could be seen teaching some vagrant children how to play against the back wall of the Goblet, leaving them with a rulebook and a few sets of dice before departing via caravan.

This one evening, a woman with dark black hair strolled into the Broken Goblet.
She started chatting with the nearby patrons, acting flirty and then offering them a drink.
The woman then went on about how she knew High Captain Karn from before he turned to this life.
She goes on telling these patrons about how Karn got his eye injured, rumor says that when he was younger he used to travel a lot with his dad, and the only women he used to come in contact with was his sister when he would return home. When his father discovered that he had began fancying his sister, he punched him so hard his eye got messed up, hence the eyesight issues.
After having a good laugh and chatting about a few more unrelated things, she said she had to excuse herself for a moment and never came back.

Armed men wearing the howling wolf's head inked on the nape of their necks filter through the Goblet's doors in the late hours of the night. Leading them is a burly mohawked islander, his visage marred by scar, age and excess. A patch was worn over his right eye though nothing sealed away the cold fury burning in its red&blue pair as it gazed upon the half-asleep patrons from the railing above. Making his way down the stairs with weighty steps he watched a number of them stir from their drunken slumber, the flush of wine on their cheeks giving way to a deathly blanch.

Back arched like a great ape's, he marches over to the Black Stag pirate who speaks three words into his ear before leaving the bar, offered a wide berth by the irate pirate lord's men. Immediately, an outstretched finger laden with jewelry marks out five patrons who are swiftly torn from their seats by the Hellstorm pirates and dragged out of the watering hole, kicking and screaming...

No rooster's craw announced the coming dawn, but the moans of five men barely clinging on to life. Left in a cart for blind Puetus to determine whether they should have need for a physician, or an undertaker.

A lone crow croaks its discontent at the blind hangman. It is perched aloft the shoulder of a scraggly blonde woman swaying like a reed in the chilly morning wind. Suspended from the executioner's scaffold by the noose caressing her bruised throat she is dressed in a burlap robe that was as plain as her features. With a scoff, Puetus swats at the corvid causing it to take flight with a surprised yelp and the frenzied buffeting of wings. Despite his condition, he climbs up the steps to the gallows with a practiced ease afforded to him by years of familiarity to affix a sign to the woman's breast. Held in place by a cord running around the backside of her neck, it reads:

I SERVED THE DUKES

//PM me if your PC would look into this. The body would be taken down in a day's time

Twas a cool morning, Selune was still hanging lazily low in the sky, as Lathander's barbs began to claw their way over the horizon. Waves slowly lapped against the shore like the rhythmic beating of Umberlee's deep ocean heart. Early shore anglers on the Southern beach would find their moments of mindful wave watching disturbed as a lithe figured woman of the deeps would breach the water shallows. Waist deep, she'd pause a few moments casting her cold gaze among the surprised sea shore surf-casters, before sauntering her way ashore back into the community.

A public handshake between a Golden Wheel dignitary and the captain of the Hellstorm crew officially marked the reparation of relations between the two factions earlier this evening. The offending party reportedly rescinded her slanderous statements against the high captain and offered apology before multiple onlookers while an exorbitant reparation was made on her behalf by the mercantile company to smooth things over. Both parties were seen leaving the parlay without a drop of blood having being shed.

Dark clouds swarm in the sky, cold winds blow as crate after crate are brought from the warehouse to waiting boats. Bareskinned men sweat and toil as a thickly built man in leather points and barks orders. Out in the bay the boats are rowed into the High Admirals flotilla, their destination the Seawolf. The ice breaking up quickly it seems life has returned to the bay and with a storm overhead.

A dark armored man was seen following the trail of a red haired woman into Roaringshore. After confronting her near the docks, a one eyed Tiefling could be seen intruding on the confrontation.

As the dark armored human seemed to start to prepare for a fight, the one eye'd Tiefling wasted no time attacking him with a giant spiked mace. After a furious back and forth battle the armored man lay defeated in a pool of blood, mangled by the Tieflings hideous warmace.

After a good amount of time had passed the armored man could be seen starting to move, he very slowly got his torso off the ground and begun to drag himself through Roaringshore.
The man left a trail of blood leading to a caravan, where some say he headed inland.

A body would wash to shore along the sandy beach of the Ruathym, it's clearly covered in green residue and missing a lot of skin around both the ankles. It is also missing the eyes and lips as crabs would have eaten it.

The body would seem to be in good condition otherwise, and well preserved tho slightly bloated. It would seem to be lifeless and decomposing, as it had surfaced.

What others may recognize is the hair color is brown with blonde highlights and the body would seem proportionate to a fighter.

A figure shrouded in black has been about and a strangled, feminine scream upon seeing the body signals that the search is over, upon which both a rune and the body were scooped into its hands. A flash of light.

At dusk, a brig o' war approaches the cove of Roaringshore from the north, its sails animated by an unusually chilly breeze. As the ship rears the cape first comes into view its figurehead; a snarling wolf's head mounted atop a bare female bosom. The faded red&black planks along its sides that become visible soon after assuredly mark it as the ship of High Captain Karn. The feared Seawolf.

After many long months out at sea the Hellstorm pirates are finally returned but they are markedly light for plunder. If anyone were to guess, and guess would be all they could do for the corsairs were tight-lipped about their business, they would say that the Seawolf's quarry had managed to evade her and the crew were forced to settle for a lesser prize. Still, there are rumors that the ship ranged as far as the Trackless sea.

Nothing is certain as the sailors resume their usual twin routines of ship maintenance and senseless drinking. Unfortunately, this time without the familiar presence of their half elven bosun in training who had become something of a staple in these parts.

The raven-haired tiefling visits her 'allies' in Roaringshore to keep up to mark with the recent gossip and rumors. Speaking with The High captain a matter was requested that she and the Raven Quill to perhaps find interest in. Speaking to the man a little more trying to get the finer details of his request and a 'down payment' of a precious gem she agreed on behave of The raven quill to investigate possible sightings of the minions and rumor of one Crualax.

Spending the better half the night simply walking about the docks and land listening to the merchant and that of other sailors to get a basic idea of what more they hear or see. Valkira shakes her head not currently hearing of much. But would likely be seen wandering about the shore on and off checking up and setting up. A devils threat can't be made lightly, should it spread like the previous threat it could set it's eye to the Gate in no time. It's better dealt with now.

On returning to port, along with many of the crew, the Seawolf's Wavecaller would be seen to disembark from the vessel and make her way along the docks. Unlike those that would head straight for the comfort of the Goblet, she instead makes towards the part of the beach where the small fishing shacks can be found. Weaving her way between the hovels, she'd greet those she'd encounter with humble quiet recognition, before coming to a run down shack, once inhabited, now a reminder of a tide long retreated. She'd spend the night here, sitting in the doorway to another time, staring out into the bay. As Lathander's light creeps over the horizon the following morn she would wade into the welcoming embrace of the Wave mothers realm, and slip quietly below the waves, swimming off as she has been known to do.
