The Adventures of Krich Bigsword
Upon meeting the legendary Krich Whirlblade sometime ago, Ralston Dash (pen name: Oswald Steele) started writing several fictional copper-dreadfuls inspired by the man, hoping to spread Krich's fame and earn a few coppers besides. The following is an excerpt from one of his books.
Other Krich Bigsword novels include: Bigsword's Bevy of Beauties, Krich Bigsword's First Thrust, Bigsword Duels Baldur's Gate, Krich Bigsword and the Duchess, Snaring the Huntress, A Giantess for Bigsword, and Once You Go Bigsword, You Never Go Back.

Re: The Adventures of Krich Bigsword
“My thanks, Bentley...” The auburn-haired bardess slides a silver coin across the bartop of the Friendly Arm Inn towards the innkeeper, as she is handed her goblet of pale Suzale. Her small fingers wrap around the stem of her goblet, and her gaze lifts to scan the tavern to find an appropriate place to sit.
Not expecting any company, Elycia breezes towards the hearth, where a number of comfortable-looking chairs are arranged. As she strides up towards the sofa on the near wall, her gaze is caught by a small book, sitting unassumingly on one of the wooden end tables near the flickering fireplace. The bardess nears, curious. “Oh, someone must have left their book out here...” she says softly to herself, as she looks about briefly, less to find the owner and more to absolve herself of the guilt of leafing through someone else's book.
Elycia sets down her goblet of drink on the end table, as her delicate fingers flip open the cover binding to the front page. “Krich Bigsword, aye?” Her curiosity heightens; a well-shaped brow lofts. She turns a page. “Oh...” The apples of her cheeks flush pink. Quickly, another page flipped. “My... -that- big?” Her large, doe-like eyes widen. “Like -that-? Sharess praise...”
The bardess blinks and forces herself to slap the book shut. She adjusts the collar of her tunic, and discreetly tucks the small book under her arm. Her untouched goblet of Suzale sits forgotten as the young Elycia weaves anxiously back towards the bar.
“I... am in need of a private room... yes...” She leans over the bartop and mutters in the innkeeper Mirrorshade's direction, the book still clutched tight at her side. The bardess fumbles with her hip-pouch and slips a handful of gold coins onto the bartop, barely seeming to count. Her hands twitch as she fingers the long, silver key that the gnome hands her. She gives one nod and turns on her heel, a light blush still lingering on her cheeks.
Elycia dashes briskly upstairs and shuts the door, locking it behind her, the unassuming book still in tow. The bardess does not emerge for quite some time.

In far less elegant or civilized settings an orc in leathers shuts a copy of the book and looks to her companion with a quizzical consideration.

Molly manages to get her hands on a copy of one of the books. She reads it for a short while, and then starts squinting.
". . . These are weird fights. How come no one ever dies?"

In Roaringshore's famous tavern sits as infamous Captain, reading the copy. Not beliving his eyes. Faint so unusually smile spreads on his lips. "Yarharh, First Lieutenant? You saw this? Red? - Alas, where did he go?" He shows few pages to his wolf who simply tilts his head "Wuf?" "Aye! That I was saying, nay one can handle such beas----" Suddenly he remembers his own encounter with a siren, servant of his grim Queen and falls silent.
The copy somehow ends into one of the Hellstorm Crew's treasure chests.

In a quiet inn room, Krisaga sits in her favorite chair, the fireplace crackling and illuminating the book in her hands, which rest on the contently purring kitten in her lap. The tiefling woman can't help but giggle in amusement as she reads it, having picked it up on a whim when her mate wasn't home to entertain her.
After a couple pages she decides to put it with the rest of her infamous personal collection for later reading... and perhaps to show off.
((These are awesome, thank you for making these for our viewing pleasure.))

Vanira finds one of the books and tucks it into her bag... stealing it away as a guilty pleasure to read and chuckle at later. She just wouldn't let her Dancing Knight know about the book... or she'd never hear the end of it. The handsome Shadow on the other hand... well.... he just might get a kick out of it as well... not that books lasted long in her hands when he was around. A smirk spread across her lips a moment and she went off to find him for a bit of sword play and a morning romp. The feet the entire way {of course, because it just wasn't in their nature to not do so} complained and argued.
