Rumors of Beregost

Unread post by Tiberis79 » Wed Sep 27, 2017 6:11 pm

A woman with wild Auburn hair is seen posting flyers where ever it is permitted. If stopped and asked she is pleasant and warm in explaining it is a night for women to be women and enjoy the company of other women without competition. Men are invited as well to join the crew of servants to make these women feel comfortable and supported. Inevitably a flyer or two will get away from her rushed hands to be collected by those asking details.

Posters and flyers appear in all public places. A woman with a nortern blonde mane and silver-white highlights alongside would help to hang and hand them out herself. So the word would spread soon, an event is coming up.
It might be a charity event, they say. But food and dance and a good time seems promising as well.

Two women are seen handing flyers out. One wears a red attire and has coppery red hair. The other wears goldy white clothes and has blonde hait with silver-white highlights. The red fox and the white fox one could say if they know them.

Smiling friendly they invite people to a special event.

Maps would be also handed out to make it easier for folks willing to attend. They would make it easier to find the location, which is marked with a little sun symbol.

Rumor has it that, late in the evening, under slightly dire weather, members of the Windspell Adventurers' Guild, reenter Beregost, stating at the gates that they are on a task to speak with the clergy of the Church of the Morninglord.

Saul Aurora has taken the donations from the Harvest Festival directly to the farmer community. It was said that a small fortune has been donated and will be divided among the farmers who need it the most. Since Saul has kept a list, that part seemed fairly doable.

Names of the people and organisations/factions/guilds were mentioned on the list, but details of the amount they have donated were left out.

Some among them were :

- Adelaide Van de Saer, in name of the Darius Company
- Ariente Caemar
- Freya
- Thedran, in name of the Radiant Heart
- Rania Arowaven, in name of the Wolf Moon Foundation
- Ronja
- Alexandra Keenan
- Cosimo Delucca
- Iris
- Saul Aurora
...
..
.

As mentioned on the festival, any donations to Beregost's farmer community are still welcome. People can turn to either Saul Aurora, Guardian of the Morning Song Temple and charity worker of the Foxy Four, or Freya Evans, one of the founding members of the Foxy Four.

This information would be mentioned on a note near the Morning Song, and in a various places. It would also thank the people who have donated and who have attended to celebrate the end of the harvest.

Rumor has it that Candlekeep and various other organisations have taken interest in next year's crops produced by the farmers of Beregost.

//OOC : Thank you for attending with so many! I had a blast. If any have more screenshots, you can either put them down here, or send them to me and I'll add them to this post.//

The farmer community of Beregost is very happy for the donations. The gold will be used to renovate the old stables as wells as to build a few new farms. Also it will be invested in new farming tools and the security of the animals and farmers on fields around the small village.
More people visit the Temple of the Morninglord to thank and donate to the church. All people hope that the gold will make some difference for the next year's harvest.

Flyers appear all around the places. It might be a little close. But it's just a small event, still not unimportant to some. Everyone is invited to the next:

Freya has given the donations from the Bake Sale on the 30th of Marpenoth to the kitchen of the Ilmater temple. In the part of Baldur's Gate where one of the poorest folks live, she spoke some friendly words to the priestess and gave her several bags that were collected that day. Even those who came later haven't been forgotten.

Also a list was kept by her this time. Eveyone who baught something or just donated or both, was noted. No matter how they donated, the organizers were grateful.

[parchment]Thank you!
For coming and giving. You're welcome anytime again.

The knightlike figure straightened his metallic blonde hair and rearranged the fur cloak on his shoulders which used to be his father’s. The atmosphere in the Morning Song temple was filled with anticipation after some rumors and the request to gather for what would be an announcement had sounded. Golden sparks floated ethereally upwards as one of the brothers stirred up the braziers, the flames bursting forth luridly lighting up the entire main area and casting away shadows. Outside it was still rather dark, but dawn was in the air, the angle of sunlight making clouds in the distance seem to glow against the darker twilight sky.

It was time...

Saul Aurora, former officer of Waterdeep’s City Guard, pulled away his hand from the granite pillar, and stepped up from under the archway where he had been standing, walking between those gathered towards the altar, the tap of his boots upon stone echoing as he ascended the steps...

Later on a small announcement was spread which said that Saul Aurora, Dawnbringer of Lathander, had left the Order of the Aster and his post as Warden of the Morning Song temple.

He did so because he had accepted, and taken up the position as leader of the Morning Song Temple at Beregost. More information would follow over the next tendays...

To the far East of Beregost, a bloody scene remains just past Durlags. As one would stumble upon the campfire, it would be strewn about and the soil soaked with blood. Littered around the ground is broken pieces of Bone armor, as well as metal armor pieces that were broken in combat. A bloody trail is seen heading to the east, as whatever transpired a fact remains cleared. Multiple skilled combatants engaged in a savage and brutal fight, yet no signs of any dead are seen or prisoners taken.
