A letter arrives at the Halls of Inner Light, delivered by a hooded ranger and carrying the unbroken seal of the former Moonlady and itinerant Silverstar, Shandril Brightmantle. The letter is delivered to Sasha Marshal of Calimport who is informed it is meant for her and the Highlady Adelaide.

After the news of Luke Darius being lost at sea, Adelaide is reclusive and not seen attending to her public duties as a priestess for a while nor is she mingling as she would usually do around the High Hall, the ducal palace. Instead, the priestess spends time in prayer and with her now fatherless young daughter.

Folded by pristine crease, scripted by masculine, unerring hand, comes lately a letter enveloped in thick, alabaster parchment, a name written in eloquent embellishment on its face: "Adelaide." It is brought to the Halls of Inner Light by an urchin boy; though recently scrubbed, dressed, and pressed, his simple bearing and simple nature are plain among those who discern such things, and so it must be in the Palace District. Asked to linger, he gaily declines and soon winds his way back to city streets.

A familiar face returns to the Halls, now stalked only by the ghosts of those she once knew there.

After an exchange of greetings and mutual blessings with Sascha of the Moonmaiden and Sophia of Lady Firehair, the young Silverstar—and former faithful of the Halls—spent quite a time in humble meditation in the shared holy space, head bowed before the altar with silent dedication. Not, however, before visiting the effigies in the opulent foyer, lighting the candles before each, speaking a prayer for the women who had been her mentors in this very place: Rania before Selûne's shrine and for Alcarin before Sune's, many boons leaving the hierophant's lips for each.

Upon parting, the blonde—changed, somehow, since her last tenure upon the Coast—is said to have left a robust tithe with the priestesses of the sanctum, helping herself to a few pastries from the kitchen before parting, leaving only a few puzzled murmurs in her wake.

An announcement is being made at the Halls of Inner Light that Adelaide van de Saer has stepped down as the High Lady of Sune.

Little else is officially said about it but those curious would easily enough find out that the priestess is making preparations to leave the city with Sir Dural Narkisi of the Ruby Rose as her escort. The parting with the temple is amicable and some may speak of that it is not very surprising, considering the fate of her daughter's father and that a change of environment is just what mother and child would need.

In the days leading up to her preparations she can be seen enjoying the restored shrines in the Palace District.

After a month of silence another announcement is made. Lady Erza de Aldren of Baldur's Gate has returned to assume the mantle of High Lady of Sune once more. Rumours spread that there are plans in the works to refurbish the temple and expand it's influence. Along with this it is said in coming days the temple will start to sponsor and host an order of knights, of faiths not necessarily represented within the temples halls. Paladins, clerics and fighters of holy and good aligned deities are encouraged to find the priestess for further information. It is said the intent of these knights is to aid in the war effort opposing the devils while also increases the influence of the good and noble within the great city of Baldur's Gate.

The Sunite priestess Adelaide van de Saer had delayed leaving the city after some news became known to her. For some while, she kept a very low profile and visitors were limited.

After attending the most recent Ducal court the priestess donated a million gold to the war effort and volunteered herself for the front-line. The day after the Ducal court she was seen visiting the High Hall and leaving a letter with Quincy for the Dukes and General Scar. Afterwards the priestess is said to have left the city along with Sir Dural Narkisi and her young daughter, although none would have seen them leave the city or even the temple itself.

On the first of three eves of the New Moon, the Halls of Inner Light are aglow with the sacred flame of moonfire.

Welcoming beacons of silver-blue line the path to the temple's entrance, and the fireplaces in the foyer are cleaned, polished, and crackling merrily. Food is served for residents and visitors alike in the festhall, and the statue in the entry chamber glows with resplendent moonlight, graced by dancing motes of starlight.

Beyond, in the chapel proper, similar lights of sidereal beauty orbit the altar beneath an orb of holy moonlight: a reminder of Selûne's grace, even on the darkest of nights.

The tenants of the Halls whisper excitedly of a veteran Silverstar's visit, apparently a woman of a kind, charming disposition and noteworthy beauty. Some, there long enough to remember her days in the Halls, speak both of her passion and her uncertain past during her tenure, linking her in friendship and sisterhood to more than one former High Lady of the Halls.

The short sermon she offered, they'd say, was of new beginnings and renewal...

A courier bearing the markings of the Radiant Heart arrives at the Halls of Inner Light. The young man delivers a missive from the Knight Aaron Lyonaler requesting a meeting with the High Lady or any others able to speak for Hall to discuss an urgent matter. The courier would wait to relay a response, before departing back to the Chapter House.

Those who enters the Temple of Inner light may notice that a tall young woman with redhairs and a green skin comes regularly.

She spends time looking at the place dedicated to Selune, and help priestess Sascha Marshall in the domestic chores of the temple. She also help all those who ask, especially as she says smiling "if you need to move or wear heavy things".

A perhaps familiar Elf paid a visit to the Halls accompanied by a woman clad in armor adorned with symbols of Ilmater. They spent some time in discussion by the fountain with the banners. Shortly after their departure the Elf returned with a letter for one Alyssa Leonhart.

27th of Sarsakh 1356 DR

Over the past four days a new face has been seen roaming the public areas of the Halls, in the form of a red-haired man, who introduces himself as Adrian Baker. During the day he walks the halls, spends time in the gardens, and assist in whatever small tasks he can. During the nights he makes use of the infirmary, from where pained sounds of night terrors can occasionally be heard.

Ever since his admission the Halls have seen frequent visitations from the Councilor of Doron Amar, Alarielle Nulei'ren; and the Hanalite Lylan'Synor Syr'Asiryn.

Rumor has it that the man is suffering from an illness of the mind, and High Lady Alyssia is personally tending his care and recovery, aided by Alarielle and Lylan.

Greengrass 1356 DR

Early in the morning on of a beautiful spring day, Adrian is seen outside in the garden. Showing more energy than he has any of his previous days at the Halls, he spends nearly an hour grooming and tending the flowerbeds, and around the trees. He seems to be in good spirits, and goes about his work with dilligence, even though his movements are still slowed by whatever ailment has befallen him.

2nd of Mirtul 1356 DR

Adrian leaves the Halls during the early evening, cursing a little about over-sleeping. As he leaves he is wearing a copper and gold tunic in favor of his regular travelling tunic. He also inform the guards that he is going to the Greenest Festival. He returns two hours later, no longer wearing the tunic he left in, small smears of blood on his features, and a great frown on his face.
