//OOC: I realized it was not entirely clear on the faction invitations. The invitations were meant to be personal. IE it is not only 1 person per faction + guest, but everyone in that faction and +1 guest each. ...english...

The Fundraising Gala is rumoured to have been a success, with 250 000 gold raised towards the restoration efforts of Baldur's Gate. It was a merry event where nobles, important merchants and foreign dignitaries mingled together with those who had fought in or otherwise made a difference in the war against the undead.
