Re: Rumors & Events of the Sword Coast, North...of Baldur's Gate
Two travelers come close to the Castle Thorn, Stronghold of House Blackrose. The watchful, dutiful Knight seems ever alert while a ragged woman come close to the children rescued, from the recent war against Daemons. She quietly approaches the carteaker to exchange remedies, provide clothes and patched teddybears from the Orphanage of Mercy. For a long time, she examins the very young orphans to treat their dieases, distress and conditions. She leaves herbs and natural remedies with the Caretakers, advicing against the use of magic for very young children and newborn unless there is no other way.
She has been seen spending some time talking with elder children, under the watch of the Tormtar Knight and the Soldiers of House Blackrose. It seems she spent time in the infirmary of Castle Thorn with both of them, adults and youngs, treating small and great injuries. The Children has been given blankets and furnitures, likely to prepare another journey, a new life. Before she left, she asked the Lord Regent to be warned. Tombs and graves are visited, and flowers are left upon the resting place.

The Tormtar Knight follows the Ilmatari Sister like a shadow, letting her do her work with the children and watching her while she visits the Fort.
He does not intefere and keeps interacting with the people of the Fort with professionalism and politeness.
He hardly speaks, his voice can be heard only to greet and to ask if Ashenie needs help with anything.

Sortly after Ashenie's arrival a carriage would be prepared and a few soldiers within the forts garrison would be selected and would prepared themselves to head out.Alexander Holgart wrote: ↑Sat Jun 05, 2021 1:38 pmHidden: show

Three children would be readied for a journey. Once Ashenie and Alex were ready the carriage under a light guard would depart heading towards Thundars ride and alog the river Chointhar.

Rumors begin to drift down from the Sunset mountains of a stirring in Darkhold.
Many of the Zhentilar soldiers seeming to prepare themselves for a journey.
Large amounts of supplies and perhaps strange to some, even building materials are spread out amongst their number for speedy travel.
The hosts intended destination is as of yet unknown but they make ready to march with grim determination.
Their newly returned Lord watching over their preparations in silent appraisal.

A cloaked figure in the edge of the Misty Forest, leaves a badge and a warding stone with a ranger of Dharasha, "Shael Greencloak" the words carved on the runestone, symbolizing the departure of the elf from the village and disappearing into the night.

A troop of armoured individuals, warded with magic and accompanied by bound summons of fell aspect, march into the Reaching Woods under the banners of Bane.
There they bring death to any gnolls they encounter, before withdrawing after some time in the direction of Soubar. They take with them, however, a captive.

Radiant Scout
a lone figure walks down the tradeway and making his way through points of interest. Clad in rich deep green with crimson trim. A hood pulled over his head to fend off the sun or it’s more common liquid sunshine counterpart Rain.
He stops at Boareskyr Bridge where he’d check for signs of the Snake Amen or the remnants of Orkus’ demon forces for the few innocent and good people that could still be trapped in the den of wickedness and greed that is Soubar.
He’d then continue as usual to check Eldath’s shrine for the stain of Daehrow incursions. Then continued south making a big loop towards the Greenest and the emerald sea of grass of the green fields.

Those paying attention to tracks around the forests would be able to discern delicate pattern painting itself on canvas of forest litter. A confident, subtle step of bare feat. Joyful, lightly chaotic step accompanied by strong step of a wolf paw. Barely visible step precisely treaded through shadows of the forest. Those tracks may seem left in random places to some. Those with enough wit to notice and connect them would see a path between Cloakwood, Sharp Teeth, Reaching Woods, Forest of Wyrms and Misty Forest.

A lone woman wearing a white armor is seen travelling near Soubar and across the Thundar's Ride north, she walks slowly, sometimes limping, taking time to rest and looking somewhat sickly, she is acompanied and escorted across by what seems to be a ghost with sword and shield who fights and protects her as she travels.

In the hills of Thundar's Ride near a top what may have been an old burial ground, the Hoarite Priest moves some brush aside to open the small alcove. He stands afore it for a time and turned his opalescent eye to look over the area around him. He eyed the bugbears roaming the roads and greenery and any that came near he took his spear and ran them through, kicking their bodies down the hill. He turned back towards the alcove and began removing stone he had taken from the Old Chapel near Beregost and began to construct a shrine. With the pieces in place he would pull a two faced coin from a pouch and fit it into the shrine. The Priest stepped back and knelt down with his tower shield resting on his knee, the butt of the spear flat against the ground as he bowed his head.
"I ask that you, O Lord of Three Thunders, hear the prayers of your Faithful offered here. Place blessing upon this shrine and let it be known to those who seek you and it in this treacherous territory be worthy of you. That their prayers of vengeance or those that fear your vengeance be brought here, so that I can continue to embolden your faith."

Once more word begins to spread of Zhentarim movement.
This time a large contingent of Zhentilar soldiers recently begin arriving to join and reinforce others stationed near the Boareskyr bridge.
Over the course of several days the grim faced but determined soldiers appear in the area by smaller squads, evidently choosing to not march all at once nor by main trails.
With them they bring what appears to be building materials for use in fortification, these they swiftly hand over to the forces of Blackrose and seemingly deferring to their expertise in such structural work.
Rumor talks of an agreement between various factions to bolster against the remnants of northern threats, which could explain the Zhentilar presence.

It's an innocuous presence to most:TheZhentarim wrote: ↑Tue Jun 22, 2021 10:17 am Once more word begins to spread of Zhentarim movement.

One raven loiters nearby in the tree boughs. Not always seen - ravens need to fly off an feed, after all - but if seen and shooed, would not go any further than the next tree boughs. Either this is its territory, or it has a reason for being here, watching.

Vandren the one eyed marksman becomes something of a permanent fixture in the Zhentilar camp in the ensuing days, supping and exchanging stories with the men when he is not participating in the daily drills or performing various chores around the site. He somehow becomes more gregarious and outgoing than his usual self while surrounded by the grim faced soldiery, quicker to laugh. At times even glancing at the curious corvid as though considering shooting it to showcase his archery to the other men.TheZhentarim wrote: ↑Tue Jun 22, 2021 10:17 am Once more word begins to spread of Zhentarim movement.

In the reaching woods, during a rainy and foggy night, two hunters encountered each other, one of them stalking the other from the shadows until one with the upper hand engaged the other in conversation.
Not too long after, they engaged in a battle, one of them firing arrows while the other attempted to attack with dual weapons, in the end, it was the archer who won the battle, a dagger, taken as a trophy.
The wounded hunted hunter barely managed to reach the village of Greenest, still wearing the arrows from the battle in her body, she was healed by the Luckbringer of Greenest Solomon.

Arrows were whistling at the Boareskyr Bridge tonight.
A gang of elven rangers was battling a lone orcish hunter. Several rangers were wounded in the skirmish, including the orc, but nobody has fallen in the end.
Seeing that odds weren't in his favor, the greenskin found no shame in swift escape. It's rumored that his trace was lost somewhere in the High Moors, meaning that the bipedal prey hunter is still on the loose...
