A morbid sight could be seen on the road just North of Baldur's Gate. A reknown dwarven champion was left on a brink of death, his white clothes stuffed with poisoned arrows. On his wooden shield, words were carved in barbaric, caveman manner.

The words say:

"Well played, Ashenie."

Iolanna walks among the stones of Eldaths shrine, reconstructing the scenes there lately in her mind. She spoke with magic to the stones, feeling where blood or spit might have flown. With broken grass or shrubs.

A sigh escaped the High Druidess’ lips. She checks a parchment, a letter, as if comparing what she’d found to the words upon it.

With a quietly sung song, one with the cadency of a quiet lullaby, plants were encouraged to grow and repair now that the violence was done.

Her last action was in wiping away the moss that have began to grow over the doctrine inscribed upon the fountain, before settling down to quiet meditation to her Goddess.

It was close.

Activity was boiling at the holy shrine of Eldath. Talk of the troublesome day, the orc hunter, made his appearance. While sides were negotiating in fragile peace, the survived dwarf has pushed it to war.

The Knights from Baldur's Gate have stricken when least expected, crossing the magical fists over the hunter's throat.
However, even this wasn't enough, and the Reaching Wood menace has escaped.

He is still on the loose.

They didn't return.

After great efforts and countless hours of search, the tiefling ranger seems to have lost the trail of the orc, the halfling and the knight. Her camp remained at the shrine of Eldath though from where she always parted searching in the woods for them.

Feeling very unlucky after her efforts were fruitless, she smiled and just returned to her camp to enjoy a meal of roasted wolf meat and then continued her normal patrols, not worrying much anymore about the lost travelers and moving on with her life.

edit:
Though afterwards luck turned, and the lost man was found, but still, no sign of the halfling.

Many were called to aid Rolas, and Florena left knowing that her job was done by taking the man to the shrine of Eldath alongside the hunter Suul.

She did not want to get involved in the city folks business and their headhunt.

Word about the young knight's disappearance traveled far to the South. It's rumored that the hunter has received explosion burns when the same method as always has been tried against him. And, as all times before, it ended the same. The group had to choose between the chase and rescuing the heavily injured healer.

By the morning, a gruesome sight was found in the Reaching Woods. The ginger man was crucified, a cold iron arrow was pinning a paper message to his bleeding chest:

"Surprise."

The Healer would return, upon hearing the rumor, and assist with the near dozen others that arrived, taking over care once the Arch Druid stabilized him, she assisted and finished the work started at the Halls Infirmary.

A young brass half-dragon would have been seen passing not far from Fort Prominence yesterday. This was her second appearance in the region in as many days, though she seemed far less prepared for battle this time. Regardless, she had certainly seen battle: Her claws were stained with blood, and the local wolves had no qualms about adding to the blood on her hands - both literally and figuratively.

On her previous trip, the brown-haired woman bore a gleaming suit of mithral armor, a greenish cloak with glistening metallic strands woven into it, and an ironwood shield, as well as a glowing blade composed of magical energy. This time, the blade was at her belt, and the armor was replaced with a red vest, white tunic, and brown pants.

On both days, the corpses of wolves could be seen in the areas on and off the road. Yesterday, they were slain by arrows, claws, magic, and savage, brutal bites to their throats. The day before, none of the wolves bore bite marks, and the claw marks had been replaced with wounds from the dragonblood's sword.

Gloves wrought only in blood --- dyed by clothes to match and well-wearing history --- shoulder a burden unbecoming of a murderer tasked to murder less. Their owner lingers at the shrine, where tension reigns after hounding out those who had arrived before victims' second or third passing. And once the group departed, our incumbent king turned instead to regard the one washing her palms clean in the fountain of peace.

The whining breeze sought to stir indecision no easier than it rent the canopy, judging by the moving storm some leagues afar, but nary a gust claims where she has found her vigil closer to the earth. Rolas was tended to by needful hands more skilled than she could know, and it reassures. Far more than it reassures, it bears realization in full, colorless, and myriad cruelties as promises of aught to come.

Scratched upon parchment warded 'gainst the elements, a letter threaded through a bodkin arrowhead lodges itself to one tree favored in this forest with a resounding thunk! Once the tree that indifferently watched Galing hemorrhage and die, it has now become a portent of change.

A tense conversation at the Reaching woods.

Florena, a tiefling ranger encountered a group of demons roaming the woods and battling the gnolls.

"Foul demons!"

Then a wizard changing his form from that of a demon into a human, his true form, giving reason of the demons.

"Don't worry they obey me."

The tiefling ranger didn't flinch and said: "Their presence here is forfeit, they corrupt and burn these woods, get out of here now or you will get to know me."

The mage taunted the tiefling but ultimately unsummoned them.

"May your children be born with horn and tail" said the tiefling to the demon summoner.

The mage seemed amused to receive such insult and said he would welcome such a thing.

"You do not understand this curse, nor the powers you are trying to harness."

Others joined the tiefling, a pair of elves and a masked ki master, and the mage teleported away.

Liberation.

A young girl who disappeared several days ago has miraculously escaped her captivity.
She has returned alive and almost unharmed, and many truths about containment were pouring from her lips.

A moon after, the girl returned to the Woods.
It was a fatal mistake.

A party of three ventured out from Soubar into the northern wilds to hunt during the new moon. It was an eclectic group composed of an elf pale as moonlight, another dark as the night, and a human dressed in furs and skulls both animal and human. They would return some hours later bloodied and successful, with the carcasses of two deer stags in toe. Curiously, they bore no bows nor spears nor any other weapons with them, having relied on other means to take down their prey.

Attack on the Sister.

The famous caretaker of Ilmater was recently attacked in the woods east of Baldur's Gate.
With the help of a young knight of Torm, the woman was miraculously rescued.

A crowd of armed residents of Baldur's Gate has given the orcish hunter a fight.
They were driven away, but they held the orc enough for the injured duo to escape.

It's rumored that this time the orc wasn't alone.
An indistinguishable black figure was by his side.

The Yuan-ti forces crumble and scatter to the winds, their broodmothers slain in a two-pronged attack between the Blackrose, Zhentarim and Radiant Heart militias. Their fortresses lay tattered and reeling from the blow, and the undead army that accompanied them appears to be virtually wiped out. With these victories, the last lingering influence of Orcus upon these lands dissipates. Tales soon spread throughout the north of the great victories achieved this day. While the High Moors is still regarded as dangerous, and likely will always be, the yuan-ti have slithered back into their holes.... For now.

With the forces in the High Moor defeated, the Radiant Heart dismantle their small compound by the Boarskyre Bridge, returning to their homes in Baldur's Gate. The forces of the Blackrose and the Zhents remain stationed at Bridgefort for now, and continue to secure the area, making sure no stragglers are left behind.

With the fall of the Brood mothers and the defeat of the Yaunti army a sigh of relief could be had among the many soldiers that had been dug in to Boareskyre for the last four months. The war was now over and the time for rebuilding and reforms had begun.

The Mercenary company known as the Mithril Springs and the Blackrose Heavy Cavalry contingent would depart Boareskyre and return to Thundars ride to resume their patrols on the Trade ways.

It is rumored that a shipment of stone was sent for to repair Boarskyre bridge and the damages done to it from as far back at the Devil War years prior.

The Blackrose presence in Boareskyre would prove to be consistent with the fortifications that were erected during the Yaunti war still standing tall as more fortifications would be built or reinforced within the coming months.
