During the last tenday, a drow has been seen frequenting the shrine of Eldath. Two individuals - bodies, more like - were seen teleported there and left to recover. Hostile creatures that have strayed too close have been lured away or killed, conversation has been struck, and she has left offerings by means of gemstones.

She wears no mask or cloak; most of her exposed body, save for her face, appears to be sunburnt, and she can easily be recognized as Aunrae. She will teleport in, blink and hiss at the sudden change in light - although she does neither in delivering the bodies - complete her business, and teleport out.

A caravan would enter into thundar's Ridge escorted by Baron Nightingale along with another member of the ebon blades.
Along their way large warbands of goblins and wargs would assault the caravan assisted by the devils of the north.
Thanks to the Timely Arrival of Morgan Blackrose along with a few other blades the unyielding assault from the goblins and devils was pushed back and the caravan would make it safely to it destination of Soubar.

The Songster of Soubar, and a lament for the goblin Gorfall, sung briefly around Soubar

Where have you wandered my goblin, my fallen Gorfall,
with the Ebon and the wheel, you're not coming back,
between the blade and the Golden, surely you're undone.
and I in my nightmares so hear your screamin'

The Devil at the bridge and the goblin at the road
The what and the why the who and to die
The sender and the sended
The who for an' the what for lost in the dyin'

Wanted to know, was it the lich
But was it the captain that Baron King sort o' thing
The end of the road the was it crew or the cargo aboard
Yet was it Wheel wi' their many tricky spokes

Acid fire and lightning spell rain
on the caravans of the michty old Golden
Once they used to be fine warlike an' goblin
Dying of too much of the many an' all the spell an their sword

Where have you wandered my goblin, my fallen Gorfall

"Too bad then that the kitchen is occupied," the priest says with a slight smile, suggesting it's a conversation better suited to have in privacy. "I'll come back around later, aye..?" He nurses his refilled drink for a while, then leaves the tavern without finishing it.

A pale-skinned tiefling visits Soubar in search of the laborers tasked with a certain construction project in the area. If they have already commenced the work, he would speak to a few of them, posing vague questions about their conditions and treatment. If they are nowhere to be found, he might visit the local watering hole, leave a very generous tip for Mag, and inquire if she knows anything on their whereabouts, following their arrival a few days ago.

DM Arrakeen wrote:Jay encountered workers from one of the shifts working quite diligently under the shift's foreman, a skilled mason who made it clear to the tiefling that his men were not to be disturbed at work for it posed a risk of making a mistake that might cost one a hand or more. He did, however, offer a brief response to the questions asked.

"We have lodgings, food, and booze we want, and even games and fights. Were it not for the lack of women and some of this filth around," he motioned to a nearby ogre, "this would have been my best contract in a while. Scram now. Construction site ain't a place for idle gossip, boy," the man gruffed.

Since Blackrose's defeat south of the gate various clues and rumors have begun to circulate in regards to her origin's.
Yet no one has seen hide nor hair of her out in Soubar.
Though the real thoughts on everyone's mind are what is this dagger that has been found and what is its purpose.
A mystery that is yet to be fully solved.

The drowby had been at the Shrine of Eldath again in the night, this time with another drow in tow. When others visited the shrine, only one made threats. The fight was taken away from the shrine and a drow raid got too close, but the pair made their way south once most was said and done - most of which being asking where Uldoon's Trail is. A man joined them once they were south. The trio appeared to be looking through various caves.

She returned, but this time alone. She curled up against the fountain, listening to the trickling of the water with twitching fingers, and wept. She would ignore most approaching her, but she did cry softly against an armored man when he came.

Along the frontline, rumors erupt of a large raiding party comprised of three pit fiends and a number of other reptilian like baatezu considerably more savage than the infernals and trolls most often found beyond the barricade. Fighting was fierce, and soon enough wounded were hastily brought back to the fort- but it seemed the raiders had been defeated.

A note is placed on the Soubar billboard.
Moon Singer Vieice is offering her services as a guide and escort through the dangerous tunnels of the Upperdark and certain areas of the Underdark if there is a decent reason for such. If you wish to get in touch leave a note at the Winding Way Inn.

The service is provided at no cost and with good faith, but tips are welcome and appreciated.

The local priest has been away from Soubar for some time, likely having been on the road as is his way. As Kazimir Resnik returns he sets the healing tent up anew and it isn't long before word spreads about that he's wanting to hear of any news and willing to even part with coin for anything particularly interesting.

"What do you mean there is a powerful magical sword, made to kill devils, just left in a well somewhere on the northern trade way?!"

Rumours amongst the merchants began to spread in Soubar of this wondrous item, easily grabbed by anyone who was brave enough to go fetch it.

"I hear some people killed a ---------- to get it.. but also those very people left the sword behind, I swear it was those Mercenaries, I heard them argue afterwards, also I saw some gloriously if slightly balding moustached man with them.. likely the thing is cursed!"

The other folk may or may not have laughed at this, but whatever the truth is, somewhere in the northern Trade-way a price without measure can possibly be found, one powerful enough to strike fear into the very heart of the encroaching devil horde
