Dear people of the coast,
Some of you may know us as 'demon hunters' while others may have not heard of us at all. For many years our order has guarded these lands from a powerful evil sealed away on forgotten islands long ago. Our numbers have been in decline for many years because of this, we failed to properly protect the ruins - where this evil lies sealed.
As some of you may know - dispite our best efforts, several villagers from this islands broke through the defence and the evil forces inside manipulated these once good people into the Cult of The Watchers -- I am pleased to report that with the aid of Candlekeep and many others we were able to banish the demonic force known as the shadow lord and disband the cult from doing more harm on the coast.
However the great evil still remains a threat - a powerful necromancer known to us only as 'Scarlet Riddle' has taken up residence in these dark ruins, our order has come to the conclusion they must be destoryed. We lack the resources to travel to the island, furthermore rumors of a threat known to us only as 'the Kraken' lurks in the waters.
We require 250 bags of gold to reinforce the ship we have -- and to ensure we have the proper weapons to attack / defend from this sea threat. Anyone who is willing to offer us funding or support please seek us out at the Friendly Arms Inn.
