Recruiting for The White Order!

(OOC Note: Following the events of the Hunters of Vengeance meeting with the White Order's Camp. Rasheeq will not be played until this has concluded.)

He drank his last swig of rum from his canteen before tossing it into a river, as he approached the encampment.

Rasheeq Al-Azad arrived at the camp across the bridge along Uldoon's Trail. Where once he had a large quantity of magical equipment on his person, he returned with a simple tunic, breeches, and a mundane scimitar at his side. The only item of value, a magical amulet on his neck (Amulet of Sending)- which was tucked under the collar of his tunic.

He entered the camp, ready to sign his life away into service for better or worse. His intentions to discover whom had these so-called visions, where they came from, and what they entailed.

Meanwhile, an armored figure is seen frequenting Nashkel periodically. Talas Marsak visits regularly, after patrolling the road near Xvart territory. He would also visit the Adventurer's Guildhall for some ale, and at other times the Belching Dragon or the Northern Lights. He would each time check if something had been left for him.

Raasheeq quickly gathers favour with his free spirit and especially his Paladin status with both trooper and Knight.

He suspects they remain suspicious of his motives and are not free with organisational secrets but nonetheless.

He gathers 4 under strength companies exist on paper but only one or two usually are out working.

They are based in a Guildhouse at Waterdeep under a Knight General Gilbert Godfrey

His Company, Company A is led by Captain Albright, and has about 25 Knights. 25 Squires and 25 soldiers. These Knights are at the top of their game and ooc of different class but near or at L30 they are LN in a general sense and about getting things done. not all are Lathander but most offer tacit support.

They operate within local law and this frustrates their input in some lands. The Border area suits them just fine.

The are hunting evil in all its forms but they seem to have a desire to find the White Mace of Life and Pietr.

Rasheeq is soon detached with a small patrol and asked to lead negotiations with the Temple at Beregost to establish better relations and seek Lathander Cleric recruits.

All so far seems relatively normal. The men perhaps lack the formalities of their Knight-hood, but they seem to have good intention and are honest from what I have gathered. Though they seek an artifact of some value, mostly sentimental is my conclusion. They call it The White Mace of Life.

I will have a short leave of absence between this letter and the next.
I am being sent on a short journey to Beregost to begin recruitment of more Lathanderite Knights. I plan on delivering with fervor to earn the gratitude of my superiors. I do think their cause be true. However, it goes without saying I have yet to meet the true head of this operation, though the men find me likable, I suspect I'll be privy to more information soon enough.

RP IG began at 10/11, attempting recruitment for The White Order, outside of the Beregost Temple.

OOC Disclaimer: This is NOT a real guild. This is a guild created as part of the DM campaigns, as such it may not be around for long, and generally will be used as a plot device for the main campaign arc. Feel free to respond to this in character by post if you wish to volunteer to this Order.

Rasheeq stood outside the temple, in his new polished armor- mundane equipment but practical despite lacking the magic enchantments he was used to.
He waved down familiar faces and strangers alike to try and increase the ranks of The Order.

The gloomy paladin swings by the Adventurer's guild and is handed the letter.

At first he squints.

Then he frowns.

Then he laughs.

He folds the letter up and sets on his way.

An armored figure, with a mace at his side and a yellow cloak bearing the symbol of a rising sun at dawn, has traveled south to Beregost, having heard rumors of a militant order forming for the glory of Lathander. He would seek to join in the service of his God.

I have conducted an expedition alongside some of those I have recruited for The Order. We routed a large number of Under-dark denizens awaiting The Order's leave, before they would have led a small army into the neighboring areas to raid them. The Order though somewhat disorganized continues to seem simply have nasty rumors surrounding it. I have yet to encounter anything that would truly count as law-breakers.

I will continue working within The Order for now, until I find something that is incriminating or until I felt I aided them enough in accomplishing the goodly tasks they wish to do. Hopefully soon I will discover more about the artifact they seek, and those that rank above myself. I was recently promoted to Squire, so my standing is rising along side the men within the camp.

A day or two later a note is left for "that bearded Calishite Sailor".
