Drow of the Underdark
It's the complete 200+ page D&D book on all things relating to the drow. I'd highly suggest reading the 1st chapter if you've been wanting to make a Drow but have been confused of how to properly RP a classic Drow or if you feel the need to freshen up on your already existing Drow. It is 42 pages but the information there is HIGHLY useful and should improve your experience in the UD! (Supposedly this book is for the world of Greyhawk and not the Forgotten Realms. I still think that the 1st chapter provides a great insight to Drow life, and I would assume their lives don't differ from world to world.)
Underdark
It's a 200+ page book on the Underdark. Has descriptions of races and places and so much more. I don't think it will help as much, since it's more for the campaign setting, but the geography section might help you get an idea of certain places if you're having trouble developing a backstory or something.
... In fact, this guy has tons of books that give a lot of lore on all of Faerun, so here's the link to his site:

Re: Drow of the Underdark
Thanks for posting this. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to play a decent Drow, as well as those players asking themselves "Going to the UD for a stroll...what can go wrong?"

On a more serious side if you are too lazy to read the drizzt book, you can have them being read to you with this link:

I actually really enjoyed it. While mapping I would also play them, as sometimes I find out little trivial details I might have forgotten or missed when reading those books YEARS ago.

Drow of the Underdark is a good example of book that gives extensive knowledge that can be used in many many places.
But, take careful reading. Most important, watch for articles about implementation of the things described in various settings, including our Forgotten Realms. Just follow insights in these tips and all will be okay.
Oh, and Sshamath is still Sshamath, so obey rules of setting on server that overrides a lot of things.
