For those interested in the beginnings of the Bureaucracy. The Bureaucracy is officially housed in the Stone Stave along with the Conclave, but has some information available for public interests. While inside the Stone Stave, and while being watched by the guard to insure no misshapes, those interests would be allowed to see the Registration and Memo Books of the Bureaucracy that hold the names of the members and their positions as well as any meetings to be held should interested parties wish to contact a member or attend a meeting.DM Dialectic wrote:The Bureaucracy Convenes
Rumor spreads in Sshamath that the city's Bureaucracy political body is looking to fill vacant seats with resident representatives of factions in good favor with the Conclave. The Bureaucracy it is said will help the Conclave to administrate the City Guard, the Charnag Maelthra intelligence organization, and the City Militia against threats to the Conclave and the city by the Bureaucracy providing policy recommendations to each of these organizations, but these recommendations could always be overruled by the Magistrature or the Conclave. The Bureaucracy will be set to meet upon obtaining new membership within a few tenday it is said.
There is an official posting in various public areas of Sshamath that factional applicants interested in membership on the Bureaucracy should submit an application to the Conclave saying their applying faction name, their applying single speaking and single silent representatives, and their proof and pledge of loyalty to the Conclave. Each faction member of the Bureaucracy will be allowed one speaking member and one silent member the postings read.
Each faction is allowed a Speaking and Silent member to hold seats on the Bureaucracy with only the speaking member allowed to take part in the discussions, though silent members can speak if referred to. Any interested party that has no affiliation, or affiliated members other than the Speaking and Silent members, can attend meetings but only as spectators and cannot speak on discussed matters for the duration of the meeting.
It is reminded that the Speaking and Silent member seat selections are handled by each faction internally, this includes removal and reappointment of representatives. Though newly established factions, or non-represented factions, are encouraged to present their interest of joining to the Bureaucracy and new appointments in this manner will likely be pending approval by the Conclave as the Bureaucracy does not control the faction seats.
