Wearing what he deems as fine clothing- Majority of the time his outfit would consist a soft leather long-coat that was originally black but due to the wear and tear and the harsh enviroment of the ocean and its saltyness, It's ended up a faded looking grey but despite the worn clothing, The accented areas of such, The trim and buttons were still shiny, Trimmed with a yellow stitching and held together by buckles and buttons of silver keeping his cloth undershirt covered, aswell as a leather belt slung across his chest that he often tucks his left hand into for unknown reasons, maybe just habit.
His trousers are that of a black cloth and is home to a pouch which hangs from his waists belt which resides underneath the lengthy overcoat.
The boots on his feet are made from leather dyed black and holds no buckles nor lacing, But simply footwear that he's able to just slip his feet into, Folded at the brim and the heels made of a steel flat which causes clicking in each of his strides depending on whatever the surface was.
To top off the outfit is his large folded hat- The Tricorne that never leaves his head and he is very protective over it, almost like it was acquired by someone and given to him as a gift, or he plucked it from a dead sailor he found.. or caused. That story in which would often differ from time to time depending on who is spoken with.
Very little is known or spoke of about Re'Drix's background but the main story he will tell people who hasn't yet grown to trust is that he grew up in Neverwinter in the slums pursuing the career of a lowly thief, picking fruit from stalls, coin from the commoners before sharing the wealth with him and his friends until he gathered enough gold to charter a ship to Luskan where he worked on the docks for many years, learning the ways of a sailor - Aiding in ferrying stock up and down the sword coast to the various port towns in order to grow his funds.
It wasn't until about four years prior he finally had enough to get a galleon of his own constructed and a crew built of close friends he made of dock workers in the same sort of scenario he was in - From that day on he was "Captain Thorn" - Taking up what he knew in the transportation of goods.
It wasn't until the 29th of Mirtul, Re'Drix had moored his ship "The Copper Talon" Outside the Baldur Gates waters and brought himself to the docks of the city via a rowboat, And from there, In the clothes on his back, The tricorne on his head and his rapier on his hip he was ready to start what would be a new life within this bustling new city, With new faces, New foes and new profitable endevours.
