Upon a wall near tunnels that lead to the realm of the Svirfneblin that edge the great trade city Sshamath...

A moment in time—the hooded deep gnome, with layers of stones sewn into the edges of his clothing, the attire of a stone mystic of the Svirfneblin race, holds a hand against the wall, his head slightly bowed, a deep concentration, as if to feel through the stone...a prayer, it could be, rolls out quietly passed lips, an attempt, to empower the contact with the great veins of deep-earth, such that what travels throughout all the lands, and in one way, is connected, except when divided by air or water.

A contact is wished, with Below the Roots, to understand how to meld with the inert, pass within the fissures, relocate by rumblings sonic and deep. Thus, another form in which to stride distance is requested, the knowledge of the deepstone, firm and impenetrable, yet through faith, is so.

Later, upon the wall, once the deep gnome is long vanished into another tunneled darkness, a small hand print remains pressured, an...imprint.
