I'm preparing to try once more, so I'll count them. When the list is right, I'll be ready. This is the time; I feel it with certainty. My blood knows it.
Alturiak 13
1. Male, human fighter of some sort. His friend got away.
Alturiak 14
2. Male, human warlock or monk or something. Elf, maybe? He was alone.
3. Female, orc fighter of some sort. She was alone, and had the gall to trod over the corpse of some recently deceased adventurer without a care.
This is a pitiful start. I'll need purer ones, or harder-won victories. No god would bat an eye at this sort of drudgery.

Alturiak 15
No time for any progress today. It was a pitiful chore anyway. There's something far more important before me. I can forget the worthless little lives of those filthy, avaricious, undeserving maggots; this will be all I need.

This journal can be found outside the Hilltop Ruins. You're welcome to RP your character finding the journal; if you do, please post below to claim it as your own.

Re: Aya Dreys' Journal
A small, dark human girl in bright blue robes could be seen going down into the Hilltop Ruins, a halberd in hand. Several hours later she would return, sans halberd. She moved nearby to make a small campfire, eventually moving down toward the river to do some fishing. On the way, she nearly trips on the book, and glances down to pick it up with a curious frown. She would read through it, and toss it in her satchel with her other things without giving it much thought.
