The following begins a new ledger Michael has begun. The new version carefully defended in oiled, black leather. Time will see what shape and weathering the new ledger takes.

The 18th Day of Hammer, 1354

At the behest of Wren, and indeed, the suddenly obvious and desparate need Rain Girl and I have set up a forward camp just due west of Soubar. Due to the nature of the enemy, a vast and violent outpush of devils from the nearby Dragonspear Keep, the camp will most likely never be able to settle long in any one spot.

Wren was kind and provided the asked for provisions readily enough which have now seen their first night of use. Come a long way from our days spent hiding from the ever pouring rains of Amn's Beregost. In more ways than one.

This first night has passed in relative peace. No sightings of any forward scouts, roaming bands, or armies on the move. After their initial push on the 'good folk' of the bridge, the devils are likely fortifying their position. But that is just speculation.

The visitors to the camp outside Soubar are as follows;

-Tess Ableton, a Selunate Priestess of the Dalelands. Came on personal business. Spoke of matters pertaining to the Halls of Inner Light and other subjects. The conversation wound up getting interrupted, will have to finish that one, its important.

-Thedran, Radiant Heart not-knight. Appeared out of no where. Honestly caught me off guard so suddenly I forgot for a moment he was Drogo's killer. Maybe it was Tess' presence that encouraged the forgetfulness. He hurried off upon his initial arrival, fought off some bandits on the nearby bridge, then returned to warn us of the nearby devils. As if there'd be any other reason to set up a camp in this hard country.

The 19th Day of Hammer, 1354

The visitors to the camp outside of Soubar are as follows:

-Tess Ableton, a Silverstar of Selune and of the Dalelands. Remained on personal business. Got around to more important talk, some of the past, folks like Captain Nightgale. Some of things to come, local nobles and the like.

-Thedran, Radiant Heart not knight. Found him when I'd left to go resupply in Soubar at the campsite, admittedly he might've been there most of the night but I'm not sure. We set out separately to test the devils defenses, then, we tried it together with the help of Lannia Ranloss. It was a terrible maneuver and we had to fall back, Lannia was heavily wounded in the process. Then there was a matter of misunderstanding when he retreated, returned invisibly, and got too close to me while I was carrying her out. He thought I was setting him up for ambush, I think, and some hard words were exchanged. I explained via a Sending. He later apologized, after leaving and returning in the company of Kald Blake. However, the pair wanted to talk of Drogo's death and why Thedran did what he did, and why he believed himself justified. We did not reach an agreement and neither man was pleased and took their leave. Likely for the best, theres a common threat and we'll work toward it but I don't want to break bread with the man that killed my old partner like that. For Wren's sake I did share the coffee though. I'm sorry Drogo.

-Kald Blake, Knight of the Radiant Heart. As above, he arrived when Thedran returned to the camp. As the conversation came to a conclusion his parting words of, 'Our battle on the road was nothing then,' were, I assume, meant to convey that his displeasure at my lack of seeing things their way meant there would be no further continued cooperation. However, we exchanged two Sendings with brief intelligence which gives me hope that people will put aside differences to combat the true threat.

-Lannia Ranloss, Derik's wife. I Sent for her aid and she readily responded. Together with Thedran we approached Dragonspear Keep. We were quickly pushed back, the one devil I encountered originally had become three, during the fight, three became five, or four - I'm not sure now and thats a terribly important distinction, see below. She was wounded in the encounter and I had to take her to a priestess at Soubar before she was whole again. I suggested she not tell Derik of the injury.

-Seth, unknown race, sex, creed, or origin. Ran into them on the Baoreskyr Bridge. They spoke of knowing of the danger of the Dragonspear Keep. I tried to give advice on directions but they went on toward the Keep anyway, not sure where their trail went after that. Possibly future trouble.

-Ithilwen, first mage of Dharasha, or the north elves. Ran across her at some ruins just off the Trade Way toward Dragonspear Keep. Warned her of the danger but she was well aware.

-Rania Arowaven, priestess of Selune. Came to the camp out of kindness and to resupply me a Sending Amulet, turned over the dried up one and she stayed for a time. Good company, that little moon.

-Exordius V'rass, not sure who is of or from. He showed up, and in a rare moment of divine grace and wisdom - he fully agreed with me when I advised he should touch nothing in the camp. It was heartening.

-Israe'anna, drow. Came upon us by mistake or chance, and departed quickly.

-Rokh, the Sembian Protector of Candlekeep. Found him at the camp after I'd taken some time out scouting in the company of Tess and Rania. The four of us left shortly after for a venture after some treasure in the south, he called to the Guide to us, and for that I say thank you.

The 20th Day of Hammer, 1354

The visitors to the Bridgefort camp are as follows:

-Part of this entry was torn out.

-One of the Coven, unknown name or origins. Teleported into the middle of the camp's wall. Likely as surprised as I was, he began to renew his wards and I warned him off and he left without violence. Was the thin magi who has been posing as a Candlekeeper.

-Guide Alexandra Keenan, my little Guide. Came into the camp after I alerted the south to movement coming from Dragonspear Keep. Shared a cup of coffee before trouble reared, turned out to be one of Rokh's acquaintances though.

-Rokh, Sembian Protectior of Candlekeep. Came into the camp as the Little Guide's escort and protector. Some armored fella inside his ken showed up and they spoke briefly by the bridge, the ally went off toward the Dragonspear Keep for reasons unknown.

-Merovyan, hand to hand fighter of Clan Ironfaar. Came into the camp after scouting out the situation at Dragonspear Keep for her clan. We were well met, and she spoke of potentially coordinating aid with the south.

-Aurora Silverstaff, of Baldur's Gate. Arrived in the camp after coming from the area of the keep in the company of Sirion, Misciwoj, a blonde haired elven female magi, and a female hin with reddish hair outside my ken. She wrote letters to the Order of the Radiant Heart and to the Order of the Silver Rose referencing rebuilding the old Bridgefort.

-Adallan Ragnon, of Candlekeep. Came to be in the company of Rania, who later returned with Silverstar Tess. Stayed for awhile and doted on Rania and Rain Girl. Good man.

-Ronja Leonhart. Came to aid in the scouting effort.

The following is a brief account of the day's incident involving the devil:

On this date about midday or so, I observed hot flames burning from the direction of the Trade Way, in the valley of the ravine beneath the Bridgefort camp. I went out to inspect it and observed the entire width of the roadway was engulfed in flames, with pikes of dead humanoids on display amongst the inferno.

I alerted the Guide Alexandra Keenan first, and then Rania of the Halls of Inner Light. In the process of alerting people a red skinned devil with horns and a tail appeared, the same blue garbed one that originally taunted the knights on the night of the breach. He attempted a brief dialogue with offers of easy power in exchange for undefined goods - but he was speaking of trading my soul. I attempted to glean his name but he was having none of it. Rania appeared first, she was already on the way to deliver some scrolls and supplies to me. Shortly thereafter Eldarian Al'maire and some knightly folk such as Juno of Sune came. The Guide Alexandra Keenan also arrived along with her Protector Rokh, and a smattering of other adventuring or burk types.

Some more dialogue was had between the devil and those that arrived, when it was just me and Rania it tried to convince her I'd sold my soul but she saw through the ruse immediately. It then fled back towards the Dragonspear Keep, the reinforcements put out the flames, and the crowd dispersed a short while later.

It was a good test of the purpose of being out here, as well as getting the word out and folks to respond to the danger.

The 21st Day of Hammer, 1354

Camp was manned this date by:

-Wren Di'Corvi Blackthorne

-Michael Dunn

-Roland

-Rain Girl

The visitors to the Bridgefort Camp are as follows:

-Tess Ableton, Silverstar of Selune and Daleland lady. Arrived at the camp with me to help with the watch. Need to talk to her later if this crowd ever thins down.

-Grimmor 'Quil' Ironson, from somewhere up north. Came to the camp along with a collective of others. He's not quite right in the head but he's good to have around incase of danger.

-Captain Greil Nightgale, Ebon Blade and of Soubar. Came in the company of Rania and stayed for conversation with the little moon.

-Rania Arowaven, Priestess and Magi of Selune. Came in the company of Captain Nightgale. Just prior to her arrival at the camp she delivered news of a man in the south possible involved with powerful devil magick, see below.

-Othonis, elf magi. Came up on Wren, Roland, and I in the skin of a dragon. Should've put an arrow in him to prove a point, but he arrived with Osric and Nathan which made it more clear it was a skinchanger.

-Aurora Silverstaff, magi. Stayed the night in the old ruined tower on the top floor. Upon waking and rousing from her study, she met with Wren at the campsite.

-Exordius V'rass. Came upon the camp and spoke seditious thoughts against the Dukes. Sent him back the way he came.

Attached is a note regarding the news Rania brought:

Rania wished to meet with me and pass on potentially vital information concerning a sick man at the Friendly Arm Inn. The man in question appeared human, bald headed, with dark red to tan skin, and one eye, the left eye being covered by a black eye patch. He wore what appeared at a distance to be non-descript patchworked armor. She named him as Arkhan.

According to Aurora, this man has been plagued by a Yugoloth, which Rania explained to me was a demon. Further, a demon lord named Eblis may apparently be after this Arkhan. This translates into a possible explanation about what the devil's emissary is looking for, a man such as this. But its all above my ken and I'm not so sure.

Arkhan has a suspected case of 'the Greys', which I am told is a magickal, planar disease that can only be caught from entering 'The Grey Wastes.' It is not supposed to be possible to enter this realm and return with that disease, but this man has. Further, when Rania was examining this man his eyes took on a lupine form. Possibly a skinchanger or some part of this disease outside my ken.

He also has multiple demons after him, and through information mentioned by Guide Alexandra Keenan, the demons that plague him are the same that took down Myth Drannor, again, something outside my ken.

The man was unsure if he wanted to be treated, but he definitely needs to be watched. Rania spoke in vague terms but it would apparently be a great calamity if the devils got aholt of this man, something to do with his nature or disease. She also mentioned he has burns from magefire wounds that will not heal - should make for an easy identifier.

Rania pointed to an obscure bit of lore, a tale remembered about a Chosen of Mystra who died fighting a one eyed Grey, and she used her Silver Fire upon him to kill him. She was not certain if this was related, but she mentioned a lot of coincidences that were hard to ignore.

I write this report, and almost none of it makes sense to me, not an educated man on magick, demons, or the planes, but it may be vitally important and so it is recorded.

The 22nd Day of Hammer, 1354

Camp was manned this date by:

-Michael Dunn

-Rain Girl

-Roland

-Wren Di'Corvi Blackthorne

The visitors to the Bridgefort Camp are as follows:

-Teo, of Candlekeep. Came by the camp and asked for any changes or updates, reported that there was no sign of movement from Dragonspear Keep. He is of a mind they're after something, an artifact maybe to use in their 'Blood War' as he called it. He also is of a mind that they will leave once they have what they're searching for. He claimed he would be seeking to meet with them soon for discussion.

-Grimmor 'Quil' Ironson, from somewhere up north. Returned to the camp to keep watch over the nearby druid's circle just due north on the other rise of the ravine. Spoke of poisoned mushrooms to the south, work of shadow druids or some such.

-Tess Ableton, Silverstar of Selune. Went from the camp north into the moors, tested her moonlight against the vampires therein and did well for it. Helped us out by going south for more supplies, helps by letting Roland and I maintain the camp's presence.

-Maximilian Blackthorne, Husband of Wren. Came looking for his wife, and to check on the state of affairs of the camp.

-Lealynn, Drogo's daughter. Came to know what happened to her father, thank Selune that Tess was here with us and was able to give a first hand account. I felt like a thief, having her father's knife and necklace, but she wouldn't take them back herself. I've got her back old partner, I owe you that much and then some.

-Rania Arowaven, Little Moon.

-Denton, Conjurer and Scholar of the Planes. Came to the camp in the company of others such as Juno and Simon. Arrived out of curiosity for the situation with Dragonspear Keep

-Derik Ranloss, Lannia's husband. Came on personal matters and left in peace.

-Rellon Ayloset, friend of Nathans. Came in the company of Nathan to support him in his curiosity of Dragonspear Keep.

-Tobar Suresteel, dressed as a magi of Torm, or the Triad. Came asking to mark his rune in the area, but Wren called him out for aiding the traitor Banite, Mae, and turned him away.

-Juno Serra, Dame of Sune. Came to deliver supplies and relief along with the monk, Simon. Read 'titillating' poetry to the womenfolk of the camp.

-Simon, monk of the Heart. Came to deliver supplies for the camp.

-Adallan, of Candlekeep. Came to see Rania and test his mettle against the devils, or perform some scouting at the Keep. Was able to move in and out without being harmed.

-Nathan Goldenmane, bartender of Darius Company. Came on a private investigation, and with regards to the Keep.

-Cyrus Raviin, Magi of the Arcane Guilde. Came to investigate the keep.

-Valkira, Cyrus' assistant, see above.

-Fenix, spy. He came to snoop.

-Rokh, Protector of Candlekeep. Came and spoke of Keep scholars having gained access to the inner walls of Dragonspear, but they could proceed no deeper. Also warned of a Coven sighting in the area upon his arrival, but I was unable to relocate them.

-Maurmeril, Seeker of Candlekeep. Came and spoke of the recent events surrounding the keep, but mostly came on a personal request. She wants someone to help escort and show her about some of the cities and towns while she puts out fliers. She gave me a copy, something about a deck of cards? Sounds like a marmalade venture.

The following is an attached report concerning drow activity in the north:

On this 22nd day of Hammer, 1354, I was maintaining the camp along with Wren Blackthorne, Rain Girl, Tess Ableton, and numerous visitors to the camp. Most had come to check on the situation on the north with some bringing supplies, others bringing company, and others still for their own reasons. While having conversation with some of the visitors, a drow came upon us in the camp. She wore dark drab leathers in shades of green, black, and gray. A well known drow to many in the area known as Ssinyrr or 'Sinner', well known because she was often encountering travellers on the Trade Way, most of which were loyal Balduran citizens who were unaware of Sinner's race. Those amongst the camp recognized her for what she was, and many took up arms to the defense of the camp. The defenders pressed the drow back to the Boareskyr Bridge, where I cut off her escape. An attempt was made to take Sinner prisoner but she fled, and was cut down during her flight attempt on the bridge itself. At that point myself, Wren, Tess of Selune, and Rania Arowaven of Selune took Sinner prisoner and transported her by magick to Baldur's Gate. She was immediately turned over to the Flaming Fist compound in the presence of Captain Norton and other members of the Flaming Fist in the name of the Northern Watch, the bounty for drow was collected for future equipment and supplies, and we were able to return to our duty back in the north.

Let it be known that several of the above listed peoples were at the camp, and all acted in accordance with Duchal law concerning the drow. None stood in defense of the drow, provided her aid, or interfered with the Northern Watch in their lawful capture of the drow known as Sinner, and some infact provided direct aid and support in her capture.

The 23rd Day of Hammer, 1354

Camp was maintained this date by:

-Michael Dunn

-Rain Girl

-Roland

-Tess Ableton

The visitors to the Bridgefort camp are as follows:

-Rania Arowaven, of Selune and the Halls. Came and we spoke of recent tidings, the drow, Kald, and what dangers yet may come from future drow encounters. Later in the day she returned with Tess, and the pair brought wine for the camp. Best to hide it before Roland drinks it all away.

-Rilasafel, Black Archer. Came to hear the news and confirm rumors of what transpires in the area.

-Oswaldo, concerned Balduran. Also came to hear the news, and confirm rumors. Theres talk in the south of the trouble up north and he said it has folks worried, on edge. Asked how he could help and I directed him to Wren. Mentioned the need of food. Winter hunting has been leaner than originally planned.

-Rokh, Protector of Candlekeep. Came to pull a shift of patrolling the area, and helping mind the camp. We spoke at of personal matters, too.

-Grimhildr, Oathsworn. Came to the camp by the winds of fate, believe she came to see Tess, but as she was still sleeping, Grimhildr did not remain long.

-Callia, a hin Conjurer. Came to the camp and asked how she could help, advised her to report sightings of drow, orcs, Coven, or devils to us. And then directed her to the scholars at Candlekeep, or to Wren for further direction. Spoke of having the tower warded, which sounds like a good idea, but I referred her back to Wren.

-Lealynn, Drogo's daughter. Came looking for paid work, referred her to Wren and Captain Nightgale both, but she admitted she doesn't have much skills for direct combat. Wouldn't speak of what she was skilled in either, want to meet with her later so I can better help her.

-Iris, the Iris. Came and played music for the camp. Came for a personal talk, too.

-Elyssa Symbaern, Councilor of Doron Amar. Came into the camp but I had to depart before I could speak with her. Wishes updates on the movements of Dragonspear Keep.

-Kael of Kalinor, knife ear magi with a bunch of titles he probably made up. Showed up shortly after another elf magi woman, claiming that he resided in Bridgefort. Imagine he resided in it about as we have - squatters at best and likely only temporary. Other then some condescending words and insults, he left peacefully, no threats exchanged on either side. Being an elf, I'm betting he's just waiting for us all to die of old age, or lose interest, before coming back for his stake in the fort.

-Ithilwen, Magi of the northern elves. Arrived just before the above Kael did, to announce his presence. Betting it was orchestrated thusly to make Kael's claim sound more legitimate. At the end of the day, we're still here. And they left peacefully. She was better mannered, at least. Both she and Kael spoke down to Roland pretty hard about his mixed blood. He's human in my eyes too, but I mean it in the very best of ways.

-Emrys, Reader of Candlekeep. Came to pay visit and check on the welfare of the camp. Gave him the update, but for better or worse, of the devils there have been little sign. I need to make a note to ask him about recording this mess from Rania - need her permission first.

-Nathan Goldenmane, Darius Company. Filled us in and caught us up on his investigation into the old devil's blade, Anthen, and Mae.

-Juno, of Sune. Stopped by to give greetings and to let us know she'd be out in the moors. Let her know if she didn't check in soon we'd check on her, and Tess went with her. She didn't check in, I Sent to them to make sure all was well but it wasn't, see below.

_____________________________________________________________________
Attached is a report concerning the search and rescue of Juno and Tess:

On this date in the late evening Tess and Juno had agreed and decided to travel north of the camp and into the moors. They prepared and agreed on a set amount of time before they should use some method to check in, when they'd reached this time and not made any report, I Sent to Juno to check on the progress. Juno reported that Tess was gravely injured and she was stuck near a bridge in the area and needed swift aid. At that time myself, Simon of the Radiant Heart, and three elves escorting their Councilor, Elyssa, answered the call for aid.

We went north along the moors and wooded portion along its northern border. Upon entering the thicker portion of the woods we eventually came upon Juno, surrounded by a pack of orcs, now herself seriously injured alongside Tess' prone form. The orcs were put down, and the pair were returned to good health by Simon's prayer, Tess' following, and some wound binding I was able to provide.

We were then able to escort the pair back to the safety of the camp, where they were able to recuperate and rest til they regained their strength.

___________________________________________________________________

The following is an attached note, I will write some footnotes following it:
Quiltezt wrote:The note is short and written in haste, however it still contains the results of a beautiful handwriting. - The name of the elf is written incorrectly regardless.
The camp was attacked by a heavily warded drow necromancer wielding spells of the 10th circle. He was seeking the hellstorm crew. He took down the black archer elf lady, Mikarviichi. Quil saved her from the necromancer. Saving her made Quil very tired. Quil shall return once he recovered.

Quil
-Micar'Vilchi named the drow magi as one of Sshamath's. Meaning the drow now know of the camp's location and will likely return at a later time and date.

A raid group of four orcs passed within close proximity to the camp. But neither side broke out in hostility. Reckon they had to see the Keep for themselves - suits me fine. Let the devils sort them out. Something sent them back soon enough though, and they carried on about their way.

Wren Di'Corvi Blackthorne

_____________________________________________________________
The visitors to the Bridgefort Camp are as follows:

-Lealynn, Drogo's daughter. She came and we were better able to speak of potential work for her. I told her I'd set up a meeting between her and Wren, and Fenix offered her as well.

-Fenix, the spy. Caught me off guard. Not sure if he realizes I had no idea of his presence til he spoke up. Still, it was a welcome surprise from what it could have been. An unlooked for ally in what could have been a far more dangerous moment.

-Rokh, Candlekeep Protector. Stayed the night in his own tent, may have to move him up to the higher list. I'm grateful for the trusted aid when I seem to be running shorter and shorter on those I can trust or count as allies.

-Natali, Eldarian's Squire. She arrived at the camp in the company of Juno. Let us know that she and another were now Eldarian's squires. I let the rest do the grinning and murmuring concerning him. There is hope in her though, maybe she'll be better than some of the rest we've seen. She's a brave one. Helped us escort the drow back to the Gate.

-Juno Serra, Brave Little Dame of Sune. Came to the camp with Squire Natali. Wanted to treat the prisoner but at my advice she stayed her hand. Kept company with us while we made ready to move said prisoner south.

-Grimhildr, Oathsworn. Walked up to the camp but upon seeings our prisoner, she voiced her discontent at the situation and left again. Raised arms against us when it came to blows against the prisoner, see below.

-Elisabeth Tesper, sellsword. Brought us delicious muffins, and for that I say thank you. Left, after Vala's arrival.

-Galen, Lathander Knight. Came to try and talk for the drow's behalf. Raised arms against us when it came to blows against the prisoner, see below.

-Rania, Little Moon. Came into the camp and spoke to me about Othonis, Ghalen. Also warned me about a drow necromancer in the area, whom was later captured, see below.

-Kald Blake, Radiant Heart Knight. Was in the camp with Rania, later lead the assault against a drow necromancer. Delivered the captured body south to the Gate, see more below.

-Quil, the druid. Been a lot of help lately in keeping watch on the camp. He's not quite right, but a great help.

-Chambordin, Last of the Pathfinders. Came to put eyes on the latest rumors and news of the north.

-Sirris, mixed blood magi. Came to put eyes on the latest rumors and news of the north as well.

-Tirion, potential watcher. Came and was of great help in recapturing the drow prisoner when she made her break for freedom, see below.

-Vala Dunn, The Tempest. Her visit did not go well.

-Maurmeril, Seeker of Candlekeep. Came around or just as Vala did, did not stay long.

-Osric, magi. Came around the time that the Coven were about thick as thieves. Lost track of him in all the skirmishes but assume he left in good health.

-Elyssa, Doron Amar Council-elf. Came around the time the coven and the trickster fey was stealing from the devil. Couldn't make sense of that mess I'll leave that report for Wren.

-Eldarian Almaire, Captain Sunshine. Came and met with Wren. They talked plans after squaring off with the suspected devil-woman.

On this date I was maintaining the camp and starting out the day. I believe I was on my own, but Fenix arrived at some point. Shortly after settling in Israe'anna arrived at the camp's edge and immediately rushed me, trying to assault and shove me back. I knocked her to the ground and pinned her there. Fenix made his presence known and Lealynn happened upon us. But Israe'anna was already wounded and easy to capture at this point, around this point she collapsed either because of exhaustion, her wounds, or some combination.

I waited several candlemarks before trying to move her, there were numerous guests to the camp at this point as recorded above. At one point, Grimhildr arrived and cried foul about us having Israe'anna as a prisoner. She left in a huff, and later returned with Ghalen. Ghalen wanted to negotiate for Israe'anna's release. Hoping it was just a matter of coin. After a long debate he remained peacefully.

Eventually, after many other events including the arrival of Vala. Israe'anna woke up, when most of the camp's guests had cleared out. We had words and she tried to escape, refusing to go peacefully to the Gate. She struck my head on the wall and managed to unlock her shackles in the struggle, and later spit liquor in my face but I was able to back off from her. After creating distance between us, Tirion, Tess, and Squire Natali and I squared off with her and her would be rescuers. While I had struggled with Israe'anna, Ghalen and Grimhildr squared off with Squire Natali and tried to fight for Israe'anna's freedom. The fight was violent but short lived. Israe'anna tried to run for it and didn't strike at any of us. And I was able to put her, Ghalen, and Grimhildr down with the help of our allies.

She, Israe'anna, tried to take her life in the end but I kept her from it. And just as I set out from the start, she was taken to the Gate, alive. And turned over to the Flaming Fist, alive, as Ssinyrr before her. Because I do owe them at least a chance to bring about that change they were always after. Now they can argue their case, or dance at the end of a knot. I did my job. Ghalen and Grimhildr were let to live, I'll handle them on a later date and time.

Had not yet left the Gate, after turning in Israe'anna when I was contacted by Rania, the Little Moon, a warning of a powerful magi outside the camp. Heavily disguised and warded in shadow and magick, she suspected he might be drow, or Coven. I responded immediately by magick, and went tracking the direction he left by. I found him then, the bridge had been desecrated and he was upon the ramp up to Soubar, summoning undead, and devils. I went back and alerted the rest, and I was joined by Tess, Kald, Rania, and Quil. We lost the trail temporarily but found him again in Soubar by the market. Kald challenged him and took him on as he tried to flee. Ultimately Kald and I were able to subdue him and take him down, Kald dis-masked him and it was indeed a drow. Took no chances with this one and killed him outright. Kald carried him down to the gate and the credit went to both the Radiant Heart, and the Northern Watch. No one will cry at me over this drow necromancer.

I was speaking with Wren outside the camp when I heard magick in the distance, upon going to scout out the source of the noise I observed a large devil and a smaller, wolf like devil. They came up to the bridge itself and it was later discovered they were after some fey-like fella Wren was familiar with. While that lot were sorting out the issue of theft and talking cats, some magi were amassing a small horde of undead and devils on the far side of the bridge, toward Soubar.

Those that had gathered to figure out the devil and fey went charging into battle, one of the magi winked out of sight right as the fight kicked off. Another that appeared to be tied up in it, a mixed blood with pointed ears, blonde hair, and high cheekbones in pinkish robes, hauled tail up to Soubar. I was able to knock him down, but wasn't quite sure what his part was in the scrap, and he didn't look like regular Coven, so we cut him loose. He was a mouthy one.

Tess and Wren had come to help me suss out the pink-necromancer suspect, then we all went walking back to the Bridgefort Camp. Upon our return I saw someone hiding in the brush just to the right of the old archway, spying on those gathered. I called him out and started to alert the rest when the original necromancer came into sight right in front of me. I ducked into the brush myself and whistled an alarm as the pair started to escape. I struck at both, one escaped, wounded, the other was taken down. Sure enough, another drow captured. This one had very pale skin and red eyes, almost like a vampire or something. But he didn't appear to be magi - one of their scouts, maybe. Killed him on the spot and took him down south to the Flaming Fist with the help of Rania, the Little Moon. Makes for the third drow catch of the day, and after that, some well deserved rest.

The visitors to the Bridgefort Camp are as follows:

-Lannia Ranloss, Derik's Keeper. Left some hearty food beneath a squirrel trap for us, bless her. Biting words in her departure but I earned them and worse.

-Rania, The Little Moon of Selune. Provided the news that Jys'Ssysynstra was on the loose again. Later she also warned me that another trouble was back on the loose.

-Emrys, Candlekeeper. Came up to catch up on the news and events, got interrupted during our talk.

-Elatheas, Elf Archer. Said he was on his way to the Misty Forest and wished us well. Thanked him and sent him on his way with some healing supplies.

-Cormac, scout. Came to speak to me and Wren in reference to working for the Northern Watch, had to depart and not sure what came of the talk. Found out later he did indeed, make the cut.

-Kald, the Brave Knight. Came up twice to the camp, helping with the general security of the area.

-Syldrahel, Doron Amar Archer. Came up to thank us for our work in capturing drow, stayed awhile and spoke with us. Hopefully we've convinced him to have himself or some of his allies frequent about, with the drow threats.

-Simon, Radiant Heart. Came with a squire and Merovyan of Ironfaar, left shortly after the arrival of Denton.

-Nathan, Darius Company. Couldn't talk to him with Denton present, but he visited.

-Denton, Magi of Reineke's flock. Delivered a message on behalf of drow to Tess. Says he was made to be a middle man because we'd left the camp and found him there instead of me. Advised him to be careful about who he is seen to associate with in the days to come.

-Micar'Vilchi, elven archer. She came into the camp and stayed awhile, was able to translate for the dwarf, see next.

-Unknown Dwarf. Came into the camp, wasn't able to understand a word of his language and he had a difficult time communicating due to injury. But through Micar'Vilchi's assistance we were able to get a better understanding of what he needed us to hear. Used a rat as a handkerchief. Owe him one if I can figure out what his name is.

While minding the camp and renewing the wards upon the bridge, I came across Rania speaking with two hin. One was cloaked in invisibility, but Tess has just prayed for me to see such before renewing the bridge's ward and I saw him well enough. The first hin looked just like the one that cut me in front of the Flaming Fist Barracks after we'd turned in a drow. The second looked exactly like her male compatriot from the same occasion. The girl had pale pinkish skin, and beady pink eyes, dressed up in a fine gown. The fella was dark garbed with a white goatee on his chin.

Convinced her up to the camp and started to question about what I'd suspected of her, and during this she let slip about 'right in front of the guards?!' which, I'd not yet mentioned. Confirmed who it was but before we could turn her over to Simon, her partner ran up and teleported both away in a flash of magick.

Coven assassins, both of them. Just documenting so we can keep an eye out.

The visitors to the Bridgefort Camp are as follows:

-Tellae, Derik's Sister. Came on the same perosnal business thats brought several of them this way. Told her I deserved her anger and would meet with her in a safe place if thats what she wanted.

-Quil, the Tree. He's becoming a regular around the camp and has been a great help.

-Valkira, the mixed blood magi assistant. Came with gifts of leftovers, probably from the Ranloss get together. Said she was helping her master, Cyrus, keep an eye on events up here. Asked her some questions on some recent events. Getting more suspicious of the whole magi lot.

-Rania, the Little Moon. Came bringing a Reineke. Bless her for it that was a conversation that needed to happen. She stole my glass maker though.

-Micar'Vilchi, elven archer. Came to maintain her vigil. One day we'll get that bow of hers put to use.

-Rokh, Candlekeep Protector. Came and I was able to ask him on a personal request. We'll see what comes of it.

-Reineke, Archmagi. Came and spoke to Wren, hopefully they were able to sort out about these recent magi around the camp.

-Lannia and Derik Ranloss. Came with a delivery of food and took Wren off into the wilds for adventure and training.

-Elspeth, Bard and Swordswoman. Came upon the camp by happy accident. Was able to send her off with directions, hope she made it back to the Gate safely.

-Cyrah, Elf Bard. Came and sang a good song with a ending that went south. Got a funny feeling about that visitor.

-Ruby Darius. Was easier to let her in than to argue with her, and if drow showed up, who knows, maybe she could take a few out with her.
