Binding Ritual

Preparation:

The first step for the ritual is the preparation of the room or area where it will take place:

The initial step is to draw with chalk the binding circle on the ground and ceiling. The reason for the use of chalk and the priority of the binding circle will be explained later.
While the cicles are drawn, the assistant will lit the six burners one step away from the circle. The substance used will be opium as the creature is powerful and the effect required must match the expectations. Five opals will be placed around each burner, a total of thirty. Both opals and burners must be placed equidistantly between them and around the circle they will contain. In the case of the five opals, the imaginary pentagon formed shall be pointing to the center of the circle.

Then, a second circle will be drawn on the ground over the first one. This will be the summoning circle and will use blood from the creature in order to call upon it. The blood will cover and hid the chalk circle and at the same time the chalk will absorb the blood empowering the binding circle. Therefore the blood will turn into a catalyst for both circles weaving both spells together in a consecutive progression. By the time the second circle is drawn the assistant will have prepared a bowl filled with spring water and shall hold it to be ready for the moment when the ritual begins.

Silence must be kept during this phase.

Purification:

As the ritual is of arcane nature this step is not as important as it would be in a divine ritual, yet the purification still important in spite it will be simplified.

First, the assistant will offer the bowl with water to the main mage. She will use her hands as a bowl, drinking the water and cleansing her mouth; spitting the content aside. Then she will clean her face and her hands. The assistant will step away and place the bowl aside, following the same process: Cleaning his mouth, face and hands in that order. This represent that words (mouth), soul (face), and body (hands) will be cleansed for the ritual.

Summoning Phase:

The summoning of the creature will take place in first place. The assistant will offer the ritual knife and will bring the steed to the center of the circle. As the creature summoned is a *****, the horse will be sacrificed ******. And the main mage will call upon the creature. At this point the assistant will echo the demand to empower the call and to stablish the rhythm of the ritual while he cast the protective wards.

Binding Phase:

Once the creature shows up, the main mage will begin offering her blood, clamming her supremacy as a master of the creature, holding with the cut hand the depiction of the creature elaborated with ink and blood from it. This will act as a contract or chain to bind the creature. At the same time, the assistant will be repeating the dominating chant constantly, following the tempo of the ritual and keeping the creature under control.

Closure:

Finally, once the bind is established, the main mage will hold the container high and touch with it the face of the creature to bind. It will all finish with a knock of the staff on the ground, marking the full stop. And bringing silent to the room.
