Appearance:
Standing at a height of 6'2, Athros has an athletic build that's honed from years of training and combat. His raven-black hair are kept rather short, never long enough to touch his shoulders. His deep blue eyes and general expression seem to hold a sense of melancholy.
Athros's attire as a paladin knight is immaculate, with polished armor adorned with the symbols of Tyr, Torm, and Ilmater, the Gods of the Holy Triad. Two scars mark his face, one on his left cheek and another just above his left eyebrow. His skin and hands especially show the signs of a body that has known strife and labour.
Demeanour and Psychology:
Athros carries himself with a cold and stoic demeanour, hardly ever showing any sign of emotion. There is a general but faint sense of melancholy in how he behaves, his expressions and his tone of voice, suggesting that he might not have a too bright view of things and what's around him.
He is inflexible and rigid when it comes to following the Dogma, Oaths and Code of Conduct of a Triadic Knight. Despite his generally moody behaviour, he attempts to be a role model knight to the best of his abilities.
He reacts rather poorly when anyone attempts to breach beyond his cold attitude, acting defensively and potentially lashing back to anyone becoming too insisting. His mind and feelings give the impression of being walled up behind a thick wall of ice.
He tends to prefer professional encounters giving little space to more personal interactions.
Athros served as a Squire under Ser Raelon Ravenmoor, the same man who took him in the Order of the Knights Kuldar, and his adoptive father.
He began his training as a Squire at the age of 8 years old and was Knighted at 18. Ten years of training. During his whole career in Barakmordin, the young man kept himself distant from others, his adoptive father being the only figure he gladly spent time with.
His path to become a Knight passed not without issues, the Squire often got himself in trouble for getting into fights with other aspirants, showing a feisty, rebellious and violent nature. Despite that, Ser Ravenmoor always vouched for him and convinced the High Officials of the Order to give his Squire a chance.
The circumstances around how this fiery Squire got under Ser Ravenmoor's wing were always kept private, probably just to respect the young man's dignity. Given his attitude and general demeanour, everyone in the Order assumed that Athros went through some dark events in his childhood, that his master chose not to speak of.
Despite his misdeeds and cold aura, the young man proved himself dedicated, determined, and well performing when it concerned his Duties as a Squire. With time, his mentor slowly tempered his demeanour to be less unpredictable, but no one ever managed to find out much about him.

There was a distant sound of a door closing as he stood in the darkness of the basement.
"Mother?! Mother!"
He loudly began to hit the hatch with his hands. Only silence.
"MOTHER! Mother don't go! I'm sorry!"
He yelled. But no one could hear him.
He yelled again and again, his throat dry, every shout painful.
He hit the hatch again and again, his hands bleeding, every hit painful.
He cried again and again, his eyes burning, each tear painful.
He was alone, sitting in the darkness, losing track of time.
"She left you." Someone spoke.
"It's your fault." And again.
"Not even your own mother loves you." And again.
He felt surrounded. His eyes could see anything but darkness, was it real? Was someone there with him?
"You will die in here." Another voice.
"It's better this way." And again.
"The world will do better without you." And again.
One more tear escaped his cheek.
"I don't want to die... mother... come back..." He finally spoke.
"You will not -ever- be enough." It was her voice, but she wasn't there.
