Actually, I would in fact change the Iron Will Feat prereq to True Believer.
Iron Will really doesn't do anything for this build anyways and I believe True Believer more appropriate.

If it was a Kossuth specific class, then maybe. But it's a generic divine class available to clerics of all gods (and the majority of other divine casters).

I think that is a bit of smoke and mirrors :)

Seriously though, in DnD 3.5 Edition, this class is exclusive to clerics with the Fire Domain and synonymous with Kossuth. So, no matter what, you would have to be a real True Believer to get by in this order. You are not going to walk up as a Ranger of Grumbar and say, "Hey guys, mind if I sit in on your holy rites of assassination!". It is wholly accurate to consider any PC necessary to be a "Zealot" for their fire based diety, or demon!

Actually there are 2 versions, one is D&D generic and one is FR specific. The D&D generic one is open to all deities, and that's the one we have on BG.

(Complete Divine for the generic one aaaaaaaand I can't remember the source for the FR one. Unapproachable East maybe?)

Rasael wrote:From what I can tell it may have become generally accessible post 3.5 edition. I don't know how the class is in our timeline and whether or not its only for Kossuth or also for other deities.

Eitherway, we are all onboard with the changes then?
7/10 progression, D4 fire damage, free dimension door 3/day

That seems more than sufficient to me. I wouldn't have even thought to add the Shadow Door to be completely honest.
