Two orcs walk through the rubble that once help the human village of Soubar. Khar, chieftan of Sacred Violence clan of Zar Ut Khan, Kicks at the rubble a look of both pleasure and disappointment collide under the heavy helm of the warrior.

"Wars wage on the doorstep and yet the Grimnail Tribe chieftain sits."

The large orc continues and Tor'rak listens even though the words are not directed at the haruspex as much as the scene that Khar gazes upon.

"Inactivity is the curse that befalls the tribe Grimnail commands."

The disfigured Tor'rak adds, "You did not add to this slaughter either." These words directed solely toward Khar.

Continuing onward toward the clan home of Uruk Lurra, Khar lets out a grunt in frusteration before whispering to oneself, "Complacency affects us all."

Tor'rak's keen hearing picks up the whisper. His blind eyes scan the fresh ruins and the smell of recent death and destruction permeate the orc's senses. Choosing not to add insult to the violent warrior beside him, the diviner simply thinks to himself, "Not the humans."
Khar B'ukagaroh
"You never know how strong you are until being strong is your only choice."

A well-dressed blond man delivers a missive to the Temple of Gond. He is quiet and doesn't speak much but when he does is extremely polite.

Nearly three tendays after the Commander of the Northern Watch, Wren Di'Corvi, met with High Rider Lord Dhelt a shift within one of the regional powers occurred.

Over the course of the next few days, it would become apparent the presence of Hellriders within their Forward Camp inside the ruins of Triel has grown; and not just in numbers. New tents including one solely for the healers, partial barricades and makeshift guard posts were erected.

Another notable change that would be easy to spot is the increased numbers of Riders per patrol. Previously an average group consisted of approximately 28 Riders. From this day onward a regular Hellrider patrol would be 32 strong. Their patrol routes remain unchanged.
Meanwhile, somewhere between the Triel camp and Soubar: A small Orcish warband picks up the tracks from one of these Hellrider patrols and decides to investigate ...

Cadet Heinrich Von Rittermark of the Everwatch Knights of Helm has been regularly seen at the Watcher's temple in Baldurs Gate. He stands guard for much of the day greeting visitors as they come to pray. He also seems to go on Patrol when all seems quiet. Locals note his Earth Genasi heritage and generally cordial behavior. They also note the mace which is ever ready to be wielded should the need arise.

Previous to his new posting he attended The first Assembly of Noble Adventurers, Treasure Hunters, and Charlatans of Baldur's Gate. He spoke respectfully before Grand Duke Belt and shared the knowledge he had gained from repeated fights with the devil army in the north.

Heinrich attends The Assemblies first mission under the orders of Grand Duke Belt. A large force of adventurers make their way to the high moor where they ambush a force of devils. Heinrichs strategy of setting up a false camp and launching an attack on their flank is praised for its success yet he insist that it was the gnomish machinery, the Golden Wheel Company, and the bravery of the adventurers that won the day. After the battle he requests Duke Belt christen it with a name. Hearing his request the duke decides to talk it over with his advisors.
