The young wandering knight of Torm, Elianna, could be found within the refugee camp more often than not. Having missed the measures to defend the town and evacuate, she now does her best to aid the refugees, offering what little she has in healing capacities and soothing words.
She would freely aid the Grand Master in shoveling outhouses, attempt to help those that are too shaken or wounded to get their base necessities to get these.
She would also offer what little help she could to Lady Gemma in her hospital tent, treating the less severe cases with mundane means to free her up for those in more dire need, were she to have her.

IC Response: Many hands make light work, and Elianna's aid at shovelling latrines and aiding in healing (hopefully with washing in between) speeds both tasks.

A beautiful, blonde man walks among the settling refugees. He is armored all in black, the severe case softened with the etchings of celestial symbology and lofty sentiment. He spares extra time for the especially beleaguered, assisting with small, personal alms. He discusses with them the kindness that is due to kind people and the wrath due the wicked, and for those who have the heart, he helps them to pray for victory over their tormentors. He records their faithful requests in the tome kept tethered to his hip, and he leaves them with the murmured promise of justice that transcends mere mortality.

OOC: DM Golem Approved in part, pending clarification

IC: The refugees look at the man curiously, warily in fact until they see the symbology and the man's manner. The small mercies are welcome and they get the man a hearing on his faith.

Prayers for vengeance are many; against the trolls, against devils and fiends. Those who lost loved ones among Tymount's militia and in troll raids are most common upon those who give the visitor requests.

The young druid Marmeia, having aided in the effort at the town, and hearing that the move of the townsfolk was successful spent most of the following down at the island's fishing. Moments dragged onto hours as young fish or expecting were released back into the water, she kept a careful mark on how many of each species she was taking from the watery realms. Once she thought she would have enough she crafts up preserving and packs them into barrels. Taking the boat back to the harbor she asked to borrow a few workers and a cart to help load and move it.

Once the cart was bloated with fish stuffed barrels the druid assumed horse form and hitched to the cart pulling it through the city to the gatehouse of the radiant heart. Returning to her form she asked the man at arms where to move to storage. Marmeia also offered her healing and restorative like skills to help maintain health, well being, and curative mean to the sick within the camp its self.

That would be 25 meals, but I am happy to say it can count as food for 33 people a day (IE 99 meals) to account for the fact she's fishing for longer than you were.

Please go ahead and make a post about Marmeia delivering fresh fish in the thread! If she keeps this up (I dont expect you to actually fish them, we can just assume she continues doing so) it will be a big help.

After having gathered a collection of rapidly knitted jumpers, wraparounds, and spare knitting kit from the Harbor knitting circle, Claret would take them all to the refugee camp.
She'd seek out the elderly ladies in the camp, greeting them warmly, offering the items and engaging in hearty discussion about their families and lives in general.

OOC: Golem approved

IC: Claret soon finds the camp's own knitting circle, and receives a warm welcome from the elderly ladies there. They seem pleased to receive local help clothing their people.

Later in the day the delivery is made. Not far from where the Radiant Heart fort stands, The Rocky Creek Trade Co (Jackard Marks and Solomon Peyton) completes the trade with Gaven Arkalis of The Radiant Heart, under the watchful eyes of Commander Di'Corvi.

Observant folk may have noticed Mr Marks and Ms Di'Corvi settling up in gold shortly after.

In addition to the meats paid and brokered by the Watch's Commander, The Rocky Creek Trade Company delivers a day's worth of fish purchased from the local fisherman of Ulgoth's Beard, with a promise to return again as able.

////screens available through ValerieJean, 149.7 pounds delivered.

Per agreement, Mr. Marks will make immediate delivery to the Radiant Heart Chapterhouse, and Commander Di'Corvi will personally handle incurred costs, settling up with the Merchant at a later time.

Commander Di'Corvi would then seek volunteers among the Northern Watch for those willing to offer manual labor in seeing to the camp's sanitation needs, as well as security.

Unseen by all but the most keen-eyed, a lone figure observes the crowd from distant shadows, slow and ponderous to approach only the most capable people who would be open to a job offer, as desperation breeds the best of... ...specialists and devotees.

As a representative of the Northern Watch --- and at the request of Commander Di'Corvi --- Borte-Suul assists Ser Gaven Arkalis, the Vigilants, Lady Elianna, and Sister Rachel of the Ilmatari with sanitation efforts as a laborer during daylight hours.

This socially anxious woman avoids excess of conversation, and curtly tells others to leave her alone unless there is pressing need of her attention. Being around so many strangers is a noticeable source of turmoil for her. She takes her rest as far away from the camp as possible, disappearing to places far-flung to smoke greedily and calm her nerves before returning.

Her distanced gaze, red for two reasons, is alert for any foul-doing within and without the camp when she is there. She learned firsthand that theft and extortion between the desperate are a thing in a time of great distress. She informs either the Grand Knight of the Radiant Heart or her commanding officers when something catches her eye, e'er the good dog that she is.

There is a pervading air of frustration within her toils, although it is lessened over time as she works off the stress towards something more productive. She does not complain at all about her duties, so it seems to be unrelated to this circumstance and unrelated to her disquiet.

OOC: DM Golem approved, pending clarification

IC: Latrine duty is latrine duty; it is unpleasant, but not complicated. Sanitation efforts continue with Borte-Suul's aid, which is of great use.

As to watching over the camp, the people are a gathered community, and so far, beyond the frustrations of the change, there has been little in the way of active discord or crime. The mayor still acts as village leader and the militia are still present to keep things ordered, but no doubt the presence of the likes of Borte-Suul and the Paladins are responsible for keeping things quite as peaceful as they are.
Once-strong and proud strangeling, now broken upon realization's back!

Some Odd sightings would have been seen throughout the last couple of days at the refugee camp near the Radiant heart compound, starting soon after the siege of Tymount. A group of men and women were teleporting back and forth to the Campsite, each time they arrive it would be led by a Tiefling woman with very visible horns, carrying very little but clearly exhausted. Behind her, the men and women would be hauling items to set up basic camps, which they would in turn set up both inside and outside the Radiant heart compound for the many refugees that were needing shelter.
Image
The group would be seen repeating the said process over and over again, the tiefling looking more and more exhausted as a day turned into two while they continued to set up more and more tents and basic camps for the many families there.

Later on, a man with a glorious black mustache in a golden-brown robe would be seen handing out various potions and vials with labels on them, for those with good eyesight, they would see labels ranging from "To help with the sniffles" to "For infections and cuts" These vials and potions would also have a small Golden Wheel carefully drawn unto each and every flask just beneath the labels.

After a couple of days, the group had managed to set up fifty separate tents and still continue to bring potions of all sorts to the camp.

Along with helping in any manual labor to have the Refugees' needs seen to Gaven would go through all the recently donated items and the number of Refugee's they currently see too. Bringing Gabriella along with him to ascertain he had the correct calculations of course.

He would get the number of refugees, the amount of food and water they had currently, how much medicine they have, tents and bedding and what will be needed for the coming winter. The basic needs really.

Once he obtained them he would get it out to the Merchant Guilds that were helping. Darius Co, Rocky Creek, Golden Wheel, the Commercial Exchange, and any others.

IC: Its a time consuming task; luckily this is something the Ilmatari have already begun undertaking. Gaven is taken aside by Father Marcus and told are report will be forthcoming, and sure enough, it arrives soon.

Also, a cluster of children seem keen to learn directly from a "knight". It is quickly clear that Henryk would have his hands full seeking to train them all and could do with aid. However he is able to offer basic lessons alone and over time, may identify those with more skill. Of course, this would be a quicker process if he recruits aid.

Henryk Urde does his best to attend to a sufficient training of greater swordsmanship with the large group—with what he struggles with beyond a basic tutelage because of the mass of attention, he remains calm, himself knowing that it is not only innate skill with time towards learned use but it is Faith in that which may grant one true mastery.

Thus with every small gain by the militia and others in the training, Henryk adds some spiritual guidance, a guidance layered in the dogma of the Maimed God, he that leads the good of the Triad in faiths. Henryk not only speaks the words and offers slight prayers behind the gains of the men and women that are willing to go to arms to find a path to rightful vengeance, he also demonstrates the divine powers of great faith in the acts of the Crusader. and the strength in great morality.

Together with this attempt to heighten prowess with morality in the refugees showing him attention, Henryk as well gives a direct example of the devoted knight to his
one weapon, and the swordplay that may give good example...and if nothing else, provide the cluster of children with a vision of the grandness that knighthood may provide...for do dreams sometimes and eventually, become reality.

By no means are these training measures a closed affair—they are made in the public of the refugee camp—and others that may approach and find resonance with this type of empowerment, they would be offered a moment to enter in the training, to help or even to learn, themselves. For some may see Henryk has an exotic weapons proficiency...something one could consider understandable with Henryk's racial heritage observed.

IC: Seeing a knight in action does draw a crowd of youth. Turnout is good from militia and have a go heroes at first, although the Tyrran slant and manner turns some off. The ones that remain, however, are committed to learning from the paladin, and progress is made in bettering their skills.

The knight errant of the Even-handed, Hynryk Urde, can be seen walking the camp of the refugees after his attempts at lessons to the militia and other willing Tymount peoples, in order to give them resource and newfound faith and purpose in order to balance the vengeance against the force that has displaced these people. In walking the camp, he keeps a wary eye on the situation, providing a hand in any disputes to rectify the argument, and, to settle the grievances that may arise among the Tymountians, considering their situation and their hardship, should such human natures devolve into the petty.

Though he may not be as skilled as others in his work, Henryk does possess a resolute nature and, given the suffering that many may feel having their home taken from them, does consider what compassion he may offer...though personally difficult (Diplomacy 10).

It is the faith that he holds in his nature that goodness must radiate from the heart, and that such belief an manifest and sooth those Tymountians around him. And thus he speaks to those that would listen:
"Rise to the moment, and take claim of a faith that shall empower you...so that you may not have to rely on others, and when the time comes, you will be able to reclaim what is fairly yours, that which you have been wronged. Together...we will repel the evil that has come from the north."

IC: The presence of paladins, watchmen and the militia - including the presence of Hynryk -
are keeping the camp surprisingly orderly. In fact, Hynryk's attempts to keep the peace are well received.

He does have to deal with a couple of the children following him, wanting to play "Squires" until their parents chase them away and apologise.

As The knight errant of the Even-handed, Hynryk Urde walks the camp delivering his wisdom among a captive and smiling audience he cannot help but notice additional refugees arriving filtering into the camp having travelled there on their own. They arrive in small numbers, in mixed circumstances. Gabriella and Gaven count an additional 150 refugees from this source. They concludes that these are not as hungry or battle distressed as the original but are in need of the same shelter and care. The helper with a glorious black mustache in a golden-brown robe realises he may yet need more potions to satisfy this increased population. Other unnamed individuals stalk the newcomers seeking to help and train those they deem able.

These additional refugees are from hamlets either side of winding water river just west of troll claw crossing named North Claw, and South Claw hamlets. News is that some residents have stayed behind to defend the hamlets. Those arriving report sightings and raiding by Rockhammer Orcs accompanied by a horde of Devils.

An additional 20 refugees have arrived more alarmingly from much nearer to home in the farmlands, claiming sightings in the night of flaming and burning Devils rampaging through their fields.

With such new awareness, Henryk of Knights' Errant attempts to make a personal-but-general count to the actual population of the refugee camp, specifically giving attention to what militia of Tymount still hold position, and then to what, if any, governmental representatives still work to actively keep the rights of people in place and in balance.

Henryk Urde can be furthermore seen attempting to locate and speak with Sir Lyonaler of the Radiant Heart, of whom Henryk had at least developed a slim connection from during the defense of Tymount some days prior. Henryk's move to establish word with Lyonaler is easily viewed to promote a concentrated oversight to the now expanding scene of refugees.

As days pass, Henryk makes a improved effort to identify and train those of the Tymount militia that show the greatest promise in both physical skill and understanding of Faith to acts of justice, and concentrate the path to development. His training does still remain open, inviting others to lend hand and swordarm to the intensity of providing stability in arms, against any chaos that may attempt to take hold—or be intentionally developed by others...—within the camp.

At the end of the latest day, he even brings himself to entertain the children that still may be dreaming of the knighthood of their own, by giving them a "theater" of swordplay in setting up duels with any wiling participant, be it either militia or other. These non-death-dependent challenges are meant not only for the entertainment and enthrallment from seeing one dedicated to the superiority of the Sword, but to show that one may take defeat with aplomb...and return one day to balance the lose experienced.

At the last moment, he gives himself to share words with those around him:

"One is never alone. Though you find yourself without an ear to listen, or you find yourself without lips that may move, you can gain comfort and solace in the Faith brought by sentiments of divine justice, which shall all-times prevail. An organized approach brings the most good for all. Steady yourself against all adversaries, even the one that is from within...that being He or She called Doubt. Law strengthens will...and with a sword in hand, and the guidance by the Just God, you will become the deliverance of all that is right in this world."

OOC: Approved by DM Golem

IC: The training continues, the group having ten active members who are benefitting from the intensive lessons Hynryk offers.

The lesson with the children goes down very well with the children (so much so, Sister Rachel comes by to help keep order among the throng), and with their parents. It does much to soften the paladin's image to the people of Tymount, and they seem a shade more receptive to his sermons after this.
