Hello, we have noticed that elves don't seem to have acces to any of the models in the MP model category. Will this please be implemented later, is it possible?
Thanks! :)

We tried but the engine won't allow it. We get this error:

Error. Cannot export to .EEF_armor_mainframe. Elves are over rated. Process will terminate now. Hit Enter or F1

:?

lol im kidding. I'll ping the media team coordinator on this.

I think the models need to be converted for elves from humans, so it's basically just a matter of whether or not a dev wants to take that project up as to whether or not we can see this in eventually.

IIRC, to convert a .mdb from human to elf it only needs a small text change in the mdb file, which you can make with an editor like notepad+ or whatever you prefer. If I could just remember what exactly it was that needs to be changed... anyway, you don't need a 3D modelling program for it. This method might work for halflings too and all races that use a scaled version of the human body, it won't work with dwarves, orcs and gnomes though.

The process is simple and most dev's and media team know it but its more of time consuming thing and if done incorrectly can give you a headache at times. It's more than just renaming. You must utilize the mdb cloner tool.

Im sure someone will get around to it, if not, myself.

Orcs, Dwarves, and Gnomes are exempt since their skeleton models are different than the other humanoid models. (instead of writing the specifics im just gonna say... "there's reasons.")

And because your Staff loves you all so much, its already in discussion.

I checked out what we put in last update. We're still awaiting adding in the models for other races. Glad you like MP, but this is going to take time. Keep an eye on the server updates and read closely. :)

While you're making elf conversions of models anyway, I'd be extremely happy if you could throw in a barefoot option for them too - I noticed bare feet are also only available for humans.

It used to be available, then it disappeared. I dunno why. I think something about hiding magic boots? But humans still got them so >.>.

There is a bare-armed dress which has hands in its model, but no invisible glove model to go with it, so you always end up with this weird clipping/z-fighting going on between the hands that are part of the dress model and the hands that are part of the gloves model.

It's not related to the new MP stuff, but it's something I noticed, and having a null-mesh option for gloves and boots greatly helps with making outfits when some armour-slot items have hands, feet, gloves and boots built into the model (i.e., not just 'this armour has default gloves and boots models attached to it,' but 'this dress has hands modeled in that are part of the chest slot model').
