Epic stores, and available weapons

I was just going through all of the epic store items, and had noticed a little unbalance of what is available in weapons. Keep in mind that I may have missed some, so my numbers may be a little off. If people are aware of larger amount of items, please share!

To put it plainly, I think that all the items that have 0 or 1 next to them, should at least have 2 items put in game to balance out what is available. Ironically I have found that some of these items (namely Sythe, Halberd, Battleaxe, Dwarven Waraxe, and Bastard Sword) are also lacking in the in game drops for epic items - that is, I seldom see them for sale on the public auction putting character concepts that may focus around these weapons at a large disadvantage overall.

Before any of you say that some of these items are not worthy for a feasible build/powerbuild, keep in mind that there are plenty of players who may be playing role play based builds, and not just focus on powerbuilds.

Let's try to keep this a friendly discussion and on topic.

Well, you didn't miss some, you missed a lot. For example, the Northerner shop at the Wide has epic Halberd, Avernus shop has 2 slings, not one, it also has at least one light hammer (axiomatic hammer iirc), Gullykin shop now has an epic handaxe, there are epic surikens at Avernus shop too, epic darts and throwing axes (which are extremely strong) at Blushing Mermaid shop, etc etc, it will take time to correct ALL mismatches in this list.

Even despite this list simply being incorrect, I agree with your point — some kinds of weapons are represented much better than others. For example, having so many flails and maces while no battleaxes and handaxes (except 1) is beyond me.

Kind of a given I missed some, but thanks for the input. I will update as we go!

EDIT: But yes, my point is that there are some items more represented than others, one HUGE example being katanas over really any items that is common in Faerun...

I understand that the team may dislike the shops, though the sheer fact that it was implemented without proper balancing should still be noted, considering balancing is a thing the team focuses on.

If you don't mind outside work being put in and submitted to the team I am certain that can be arranged.

Well, if a store isn't a good thing and the (dev) team doesn't care for it too much, then perhaps another method of acquiring weapons and armor could be implemented? Suggestions, anyone?
