Beldroin is seen returning to the city with a mummy servant in tow who appears to be carrying something fairly large and wrapped up for the High Necromancer. They go into the Stonestave where said item is apparently placed in a secure room. Beldroin leaves with her mummy and now an imp as well. Beldroin and the mummy return to the School of Necromancy while the imp is dispatched to the School of Evocation and Invocation with a message for their representative simply asking "Have dos been able to find anything out? ~High Necromancer L' Beldroin"

The imp flies quickly to the School of Invocation and Evocation and the message is quicker delivered to the Archmage M'lan Dar'akstar. Not much time later, a servant runs to the Archives, looking for the fahliel Uelaereene. Being told she is at one of the storagerooms, the courier finds her ordering two guards to move some containers as she is examining the items stored in one giant trunk.

After she is given the message, she immediately leaves his task and hurries to the Archmage's private rooms, where a short meeting is held. Afterwards, another imp flies to the School of Necromancy with a message for the High Necromancer. It reads as follows:

Vendui' High Necromancer.
Usstan fear that, although ussa agent, the fahliel Uelaereene Sai'zzel is making a great labor in this little matter udos have with those scales, nothing clear or definitive has been obtained from this effort. Usstan propose to have a meeting, at least of our two Schools, the ones more involved in the matter. Usstan would also make dos the same question, so duos know at which point udos are.
Archmage M'lan Dar'akstar

Beldroin sends back an imp with a message saying a meeting is a good idea and will be able to hold one for the matter. A second imp leaves the School of Necromancy as well headed towards the Bregan Daerthe compound inviting their representative as well.

It is rumoured that Quellar Zau'afin would be interested in being on the council.

Upon hearing such rumors Beldroin sends the Quellar an imp in case they were still looking for guidance and informs them they would need to make a formal request to the Conclave for a position, and reminds them that each organization is allowed two members; one that is allowed to speak and one that just listens.

A by all intents unremarkable tanaruuk appeared carrying a message to the council. Without a word he left a note for the council to read before making a hasty retreat.

Honored members of the ruling council,

I wish to aid the bureaucracy in dealing with the slime worshipers. I would step up as the speaking representative and Thar'vulan, my weaponsmaster, would act as the silent representative.

A slaver that acquired a particular goblin is found in Gloura's saying the goblin knows something about the attacks on the city. After painfully watching a half breed extract information out of the goblin the local residences of Sshamath that were gathered in Gloura's basically form a militia and move in on one of the Ooze Cult camps. The site was located underwater, so after first sending in the sacrificial half breeds, the mob descends and checks out what is going on.

After seeing the goblin mining slave force that are not actually mining out anything of value, High Necromancer L' Beldroin quickly understands they are just digging out an assault tunnel for use against Sshamath. Soon after she has one of her students, Zakn'Atar, dominate another slave because the previous slave was dragged underwater with them by her skeleton and drowned on the way, dying slightly sooner than expected. Having their new guide Beldroin then orders the rest of the goblins to be executed for their aid in the conspiracy against Sshamath and the militia proceeds towards the main camp site.

The group come across the bodies of a few dead drow and some still alive. Though both seem to be affected with some sort of decay. The decay on the dead seems to have obviously already done its work and on the living seems to have been growing bigger eating away at them. The parasitic growth eventually kills the remaining drow that were already there and forms into several oozes that attack the group.

The oozes, resistant to most of their normal weapons, put up a good fight against the mob but start to fall from the magic of the different faern present. After a while they finish killing the last of the oozes, clearing out the tunnel of the Cultist conspirators. Having finished with the fight and collecting samples of the ooze from the corpses as well as recovering their recently fallen unaffected members, the mob returns to Sshamath after a successful raid.

A message brought to the Bureacracy

A drowess with long white hair emerged with two servants from a sewer. One bowed in apoligetic deference of an apparent slight to her. They were not her focus, rather the message yet to be delivered for the council. Penned and sealed with wax, the scroll left for the Bureaucracy

Honored members of the ruling council,

Amongst the cultists of the ooze encountered below was an amusing specimen of a young black wyrm; chained and covered in those viscous creatures. What manner they attempted to use him unclear, but he carries an exploitable anger against the cult, and possible knowledge of further workings. It is a recommendation the Bureaucracy enters contact with this Wyrm.

The council of masters of the School of Necromancy convened, and called for a report on what had occured last week in the ooze infested tunnels. A large group of Drow, half Drow and an elf met together in the lobby and were directed up the stairs several flights. Once there, Tsabrak, Spirmyr, Akordra, and a few other powerful drow faernen were gathered on the upper balcony. A Drow female that acted arrogantly towards the assembled faernen nearly was disintegrated, but managed to show humility before she was. The necromancers talked among themselves and spoke to a few of the gathered adventurers, when a certain faern was summoned forward. A stone was spoken of, and the new faern begged for his life, and claimed his golems could not retrieve it. In anger Tsabrak flung energy at the Drow Wizard, who disintegrated into a pile of ashes. The assembled Drow were slightly shocked, however, the necromancers gathered ordered the assembled Drow to enter a gate to talk with a dragon named De'Blooze. Due to Tsabrak teleporting them deep into the Nau'klar, The party split up, half into the sewers and half into the streets. Durafein was contacted by Lomith, and left the group, against the council's wishes. The ilharess of the Zau'afins replaced Durafein for the rest of the expedition.

Lomith found the group that Durafein had been with, nearly by chance, since she had been walking past the Glouras Wings when the party figured out they had gone the wrong way. She followed them to the Darkwoods where the dragon flew in and waited for them. This was when it was revealed that one of the assembled people was a surfacer elf. Draya claimed the surfacer as her servant, and promised to give him to Lomith. The dragon led them east, into an area that none of the assembled Drow had previously been. The Dragon destroyed a rock with magic and oozes poured out by the dozens. The party defended itself adequately and went into the temple beyond.

Beyond corpses, the temple was for the most part empty. This temple had been a different place of worship, not Ghaunadauran, yet it was later found out that the Ghaunadaurans had discovered the temple and moved in themselves. There was one living creature that was found in the temple, another half ooze that had a child inside of it that could speak. It was completely naive, with the mind of a child. Since the creature seemed to not be hostile, and even though it was Draya's idea, Uelaereene Sai'zzel was put in charge of the creature. The party then left the temple and returned to the Darkwoods.

Some time later, when much of the party had left and Rilae'ar'an had found the party, an arguement was occuring over who the surface elf was suppossed to serve. Rilae'ar'an claimed him as hers, while Lomith also did, while Draya held the creature's leash. Things were about to get violent when a large squad of Driders ambushed the small party. The battle had been over in minutes. Over twenty drider had fallen, while none of the Drow had been harmed. Both the Eilistraeean and Lolthite Priestesses went to the opposite areas, and tried to find where the driders and beholders had come from. Ilharess Lomith Zau'afin then was set upon by a heavily wounded Drider that had somehow survived the failed ambush. It had stated half madly that we did not know anything and that we had no idea about what we would face. Lomith studied the creature's armour and then studied the contents of it's stomache, nothing revealed where they had come from. So Lomith and Rilae'ar'an met in the middle and nearly came to blows. The arguement became so heated that Draya was able to sneak off with the surfacer elf. Out of energy both the priestesses of opposing deities then noticed black sludge on the ground, the kind that was in the water. The creatures had come from the lake. They searched the shore of the lake, but came up with nothing.

A large group sets out on another task after a meeting with the Masters of the School of Necromancy, this one to clear overrun trade tunnels. The group is thrown in head first by one of the Master's contacts after being given a special type of acid for the ooze and start clearing away the trade route. The come upon the Black Dragon they had previous dealings with and are force to engage for a while but after relieving it of its protective wards the domination over the Black Dragon fades but he starts to die all the same. With his dying breath the dragon warns of a trap though doesn't get the chance to say what until one of the group feeds it a potion that heals him. The dragon tells them the tunnels will explode and beings to make a hole in the cavern wall to provide an escape that they all barely make it though in time. With the tunnels cleared but possibly completely caved in now and the dragon alive to continue its alliance, the group returns to the city and the dragon goes on its way.

After returning to the School of Necromancy, Beldroin writes up a quick report to be sent to the Masters.

"The tunnels have been cleared but were rigged to explode and the trade route is possibly completely shut now, the Clan Shield Breaker duergar will have to look at it. The Black Dragon was captured and dominated but is now free again after being removed from his wards. He departed saying he had work to do but usstan made sure to let him know we were interested in a continued alliance and he responded "we shall see." We were also able to collect some of his blood while he was still dying.

A gathering in the School of Necromancy is interrupted by Conclave officials with alarming news: two artifacts were stolen during the infiltration and the group they sent to recover them has failed. The Conclave official turns to the famed mob of Sshamath once again to do its dirty work and sends the group off to the last known site of the first group.

After wandering around nightmarish ruins the mob slowly finds themselves pulled away one by one. The few that remain finally noticed a loss of numbers, partly because some had split up, but when a pair that didn't split mysteriously get separated it becomes clear something odd was going on. An attempt to contact one of the missing members eventually leads to everyone being grabbed and ending up on the Plane of Shadow.

On the Shadow Plane they find their missing members as well as the missing patrol who had the items they went to retrieve, the stolen dragon scales. After finding one sole survivor from the first group, they are all attacked by a Shadow Dragon, the thing that killed off most of the first group.

After bringing down the dragon they still have the issue of being trapped on the Shadow Plane. Fortunately one of them had a Gate spell ready... unfortunately the other Shadow Dragons didn't like the idea of them trying to leave! After defeating one wave of smaller Shadow Dragons another wave comes for them. Ignoring the newly arrived dragons, Beldroin focuses on casting the Gate spell opening a door from the Shadow Plane back to the Material Plane. Two waves later the group is ready to safely pass through the door and return home, with Beldroin quickly closing it behind them.

Successfully completing the task they return and receive their rewards before going back to what they were doing. Beldroin having both of the ancient scales examines them to figure out what they do before personally returning them to the heads of the two Schools that were in charge of keeping them safe.

The Eldar drow current leader of the coven of darkness is seen meeting with a human red wizard in the tavern in Sshamath. The two can be heard discussing the ooze problem and a certain gem of incredible power. The red wizard agrees to use this gem to assist the city if he is allowed to set up a trade outpost within the tunnels of the dark . The drow says to the human "if dos assist the city and the conclave I'm sure they will allow such a outpost and if dos do and they allow such a outpost dos will need underdark support besides the conclave which we can get dos ". The meeting appeared to have went very well after the two agreed on some things a female drow strolls up to the duo with a bottle of wine and seats herself with them .
The drow thinking over his thoughts as the three discuss things of a magical nature and drink wine "yet again myself and the coven of darkness assist the city of Sshamath and ask for nothing in return ............."
