Tip to instantely switch between your PvE-oriented memorised spells to your PvP-oriented spells
It's possible to switching from one choice of memorized spells to another in one-click button.
I discovered that feature of the Skywing Extension Client. It's extraordinarily useful for spellcasters. To share this happy discovery, I made a video to show how it works:
Here are the directions written without the video :
Apparently, people on Discord do not know this feature.
Some know /setmacro and /cast these features are very useful for casting a predetermined list of spells to the chain.
/mspells is a one-click feature that memorizes all the spells in your spell book in a hotbar slot!
- Choose your spells list, including metamagic if you want.
- Type /mspells 1 (1 = the location number of your hotbar, you can put 20 if you prefer).
- Check that the hotbar button appears. Sometimes it does not appear.
- Choose another spell choice (for example, a more PvP-oriented setup).
- Type /mspells 2.
- Here. Now, if you press 1, you forget all your spells, to memorize all the spells in this list. And the same if you press 2. You can easily go from a choice of PvE oriented spells, to for exemple a choice of PvP oriented spells!
- Nice time saving is not it? The only painful thing to put the spells in the shortcut bars. I discussed the problem with the venerated Skywing, he told me that he will try to think of an elegant solution to this problem!

Thanks man,
Can you not just scroll your bar to say 5 and then insert the hotkeys there?
Also what do the cast and setmacro commands do?

You can but it won't work according to my test. Can you not just scroll your bar to say 5 and then insert the hotkeys there?
If you move your macro from his defined position, it won't work.
But with the right number you can put your macro in the lower positions. 15, 25, 35 etc.
You can in one button cast to the chain all the spells that you want. This is especially useful for buffs. Rather than being pissed off at choosing: Protection against Evil -> Shield -> Mage Armor -> Etc. At each run, you simply click and wait for everything start! Also what do the cast and setmacro commands do?

Awesomeness. I always screenied the specific pvp and pve selektion and had to bring up that damn picture each time i switched.

You have to type /help in game.
You should the Skywing UI it's easier (/showui).
The command is for example:
"/setmacro 1 /cast" Invisibility "; /cast" Shield "
You can put as many spells as you want, as long as you add them with a ";".
You have to dive a little into all that, but it's relatively easy, and it's worth the effort.

Does /mspells work again now? It was broken not long ago.

All of these were already extant in my New Player's Guide to Wizardry.
I suppose my absence from both the server and forum meant the hotlink (which was once in my signature) is no longer as frequent as it once was. But the video is excellent; I will hotlink that from the sticky in the Tips & Tricks forum.

Super your guide. I had read it quickly but had skipped the part devoted to /mspells.
