When making a half-orc, some of you may have noticed the minotaur head selection. There is also a hair selection that gives you minotaur horns (the HUGE horns on your forehead) when making a half-orc, gray orc, or tanarukk.
These appearance selections are only there because the minotaur spawns use the half-orc model. We always thought it was self-evident that these appearance selections should NOT be chosen, but we're formally declaring it here, just to be sure.
Please do not choose the minotaur head selection or the minotaur horn selection when making a half-orc, gray orc, or tanarukk.
Also, a few head selections for elves, humans, dwarves, etc. already come with hair on them. If you put a hair selection on top of such heads, you'll end up with two sets of hair and look kind of weird.
So please be careful when choosing your character appearances, and do not put hair on a head selection that already comes with hair.
We're going to let this formal announcement soak in for a couple weeks. For this grace period, we'll allow full rebuilds to fix minotaur heads and weird hair appearances.
But starting February 1, we're going to start forcing characters with minotaur heads and horns to hit the RCR bot and rebuild at half XP. People with weird hair selections won't be forced to do this, but they won't be getting a full rebuild either.
