A cute little woman named Peggy makes a candy delivery to the refugees.
She brings 30 large boxes of candy, including chocolate covered cherries, heart shaped chocolates, rum rings, lemon drops, cinnamon taffy, and orange honey drops.
She says that the gifts are from a Helmite monk who asked her to deliver them.
She seems very cheerful and friendly and also offers free lists of her candy to anyone who might be interested in buying more once they get back on their feet.

OOC: Approved by DM Golem

IC: Peggy gets a warm welcome! The candies are eaten with aplomb and many prayers are offered to Helm as a result.

Seeing the recent influx of refugees continually displaced and some looking for work directly Remmy sits with them talking about joining the Golden Arrow Company and getting work in the mines soon to be up and running once the devil invasion has been culled. He would also mention possible caravan guard work if they wished as his company was looking to answer a call to supply the Flaming Fist mercenary group. He would mention that they should join the martial weapons training to gain the skills needed and ask if they preferred the blade or bow. He would have gathered his current group of recruits to help him with this task as well. Those that preferred blades he would purchase silver swords for each and those who preferred the bow would purchase longbows for each. As per company standard blankets, rations and advice are distributed openly to the new arrivals.

Heinrich Von Rittermark of the Everwatch Knights of Helm can be seen at the camp nearly ever day. Often only for an hour or so and seemingly standing guard. He keeps his helmet on and doesn't seem keen on speaking with the refugees however when arguments erupt or a shout is heard they may notice his gaze shifting towards the commotion. If requested he would escort women, children, and the elderly to the market, the well, and a handful of other places. When pressed for conversation he may direct them to the Temple of the Shield where warmth may be had and prayers may be heard.

OOC: Approved by DM Golem

IC: Heinrich's vigil meets with approval from the remaining refugees. He is given thanks for his escorting of the few elderly that remain in the camp - the needy mostly being taken care of in the city by now.

A few members from Rocky Creek, House Darius, The Order of the Radiant Heart and a couple protectors of Greenest met just outside the refugee camp and escorted six families to their new homes in Greenest. The trip was beset by a pack of gnolls along the way, yet the group made sure that all the refugees made it to their new homes. Upon arriving they were met by Queen Scatterheart, thanked and rewarded. The people were grateful for their new homes, away from the camp and the threat of the devil incursions.

Two members of the Golden Arrow mining company approached the refugees at the Farmlands, they spoke with them, gave them food and played dice with them (it seems the refugees got most of the winnings as there was a lot of cheering and friendly banter). They did some acrobatics show as well.

They stayed with them for about two hours before leaving, but they promised they would be back with more.

OOC: Approved by DM Golem

IC: The gathered refugees enjoy the games, and it garners interest in the Golden Arrow as employers, supporting Remmy's efforts with the mayor.

Establish the Golden Arrow as the premier trading company on the Sword Coast through reliable availability for our guests and partners

Establishing trade from Amn to Waterdeep in order to elevate the company and those who work within giving new lifestyle to all in the company

A lengthy meeting between Remmy and the Mayor of the Tymount refugees could be observed of which many things were discussed more prominently was the employment of those refugees in the immediate and in the future the discussion was of mine work and caravan work for each able bodied person seeking to elevate themselves and find a new life and a new way of life for them and theirs. The Mayor would be seen to be astonished at the most generous offer of over 500,000 in gold to help the reclamation and re-invigoration of the refugees to homes instead of tents. It would be said there were no requirements for this sizeable sum of funds and after a shaking of hands the two parted ways amicably. Some time later the bard known as Thokul Milner would show up with a stack of contracts for those who wished to freely join the company and a caravan carrying the large sum of gold. 10 men would help transfer the funds to the Mayor to distribute as he sees fit. After giving those over the mayor Thokul would go by the fire and begin to play a couple of his finest shanties for the refugees as well as spin a harrowing tale of the bravery of those fine women and men who stood with Commander Thedran a few days prior.....

Thokul Milner's Sea Faring Shanties!

Devil Down Below
I used to be a fisherman, on the icy crests we'd ride
Like a banshee on the wind, we'd sail the ocean wide
From the shoals of Luskan Bay to the Sea of moving ice we'd go...
And we'd shout! Shout! Shout! Shout at the Devil down below

Out to the snows of Icewind Dale, into the screaming gale
Out into the storm, chasing down the whale
When the harpoon struck, the mighty fish would blow...

And we'd shout! Shout! Shout! Shout at the Devil down below

In our bunks we'd find no solace, no comfort just remorse
We'd curse at the bad fortune that had set us on this course
Gathered 'round the lamplight we'd sing both high and low...

And we'd shout! Shout! Shout! Shout at the Devil down below

From the rocks of Fireshear to Uttersea we are bound
The skipper's yelling blood as the jagged cliffs we round
Jack Duggan in the foresail, Billy Reilly in the crow...

And we'd shout! Shout! Shout! Shout at the Devil down below

Only when we'd quenched this mighty vessel's appetite
Would the captain tell us "Lads, we'll be going home tonight!"
We'd turn to the raging sea and we'd raise our fists and yell
"You won't be seeing us today, you won't be seeing us in Hell!"

Once ashore we'd head into the pub for a tankard full of ale
One day would turn into a week and the time would come to sail
We'd say goodbye to the girls we love, then off from the shore we'd row...

And we'd shout! Shout! Shout! Shout at the Devil down below
And we'd shout! Shout! Shout! Shout! Shout at the Devil down below

Johnny Jump Up
I'll tell ye a story that happened to me
One day as I went out to the Friendly Arm you see
The sun it was bright and the day it was warm
Says I, A quiet pint wouldn't do me no harm
I went to Bentley, I says give me a stout
Says Bentley, I'm sorry all the beer tis sold out
Try whiskey or vodka, ten years in the wood
Says I, I'll try cider, I heard it was good

Oh never, oh never, oh never again
If I live to a hundred or a hundred and ten
I fell to the ground and I couldn't get up
After drinking a pint of the Johnny Jump Up

After lowering the third I headed strait for the yard
Where I bumped into Brophy the big civic guard
He says come here to me boy don't you know we're in the law
Well I upped with my fist and I shot to his jaw
He fell to the ground with his knees crumpled up
But it T'wasn't I hit him t'was the johnny jump

And the next thing I met down in the Friendly Arm you see
Was a cripple on crutches, and says he to me
I'm afraid o' me life I'll be hit by a cart
Would you help me across to Bentley’s Bar
And after three pints of the cider so sweet
He threw down his crutches and he danced on his feet

Oh never, oh never, oh never again
If I live to a hundred or a hundred and ten
I fell to the ground and I couldn't get up
After drinking a pint of the Johnny Jump Up

Now I went up the Trade way a friend to see
They call it the Madhouse in Baldur’s by the Sea
But when I got up there, the truth I do to tell
They had the poor bugger locked up in his cell
Says the guard testing him, say these words if you can
'Around the rugged rocks the ragged rascal ran'
Tell them I'm not crazy, tell them I'm not mad
T'was only six pints of that cider I had

Now a man died in the Fist by the name of Belarion
They washed him and laid him outside on a slab
And after the corroner his measurements did take
His wife took him home to a bloody fine wake
'Twas about twelve o'clock and the beer it was high
The corpse he sat up and he says with a sigh
I can't get to heaven, they won't let me up
Till I bring them a pint of the Johnny Jump Up

Oh never, oh never, oh never again
If I live to a hundred or a hundred and ten
I fell to the ground and I couldn't get up
After drinking a pint of the Johnny Jump Up

Oh never, oh never, oh never again
If I live to a hundred or a hundred and ten
I fell to the ground and I couldn't get up
After drinking a pint of the Johnny Jump Up

Wulfrik was seen spending time with a few of the men of the camp, helping them with basics such as potential tent repairs or carrying wood. The man also had brought a pig-skin ball to play a game of catch with the present children, only to emerge with a mud-stained shirt after the children decided "everyone against Wulfrik" was a fair game-plan...the otherwise stoic, dark clothed warrior betrayed to being amused and did not seem to mind the stains, claiming it was nothing a good washing tub and board could not sort out. The man left the ball after he made the children promise him they would share it together nicely.

OOC: Approved by DM Golem, subject to strikeouts as no children!

IC: The assistance is helpful to those who accept it. As Tymount was largely frontiersmen and prospectors, as well as shepherds, there arent so many. However those that need help, are grateful for it.

Upon the last evening, Henryk the Sword of Tyr was seen at the Refugee Camp, speaking with Mayor Gallin for some time, in earnest, being questioned and returning long-worded responses in the Mayor's audience.

At the end of the conversation, it could be said that Henryk the knight-errant to the Just God was seen leaving the discussion with a radiant sense of purpose in his countenance, as he made way towards the eastern entrance to Baldur's Gate.

The Mayor, as well afterwards, stayed in the camp, but with "...a sudden burst of hope in his eyes."

Rumor has it, three souls stood against a medium sized detachment of Devils upon Road of Thundar's Ride. A wrecked Caravan and two dead bodies, along with horribly disfigured, deceased Devils are the only solemn reminders of the events that took place. Word has been sent by a relatively unknown individual towards the Radiant Heart, beseeching them to make efforts in keeping the Refugee camp safe, given the proximity of this attempted raid by Devil-kind...

Remmy can be found spending his days teaching the refugees in the art of bowmanship, using cover and concealment to ambush their prey from afar. He would also spend time at the fire with them passing libations around so as to help the moral of the group. Always a ever watchful eye to the North and a somber look upon his once jovial face
OOC: Approved by DM Goelm

IC: Again, uptake is more as a past time. There are some mentions of how the "Rangers of Tymount" were the archers among the people, and those have disappeared up north.

The knight-errant Henryk, Sword of Tyr, arrives during the moment that the tradesman Remmy is teaching refugees the art of bowmanship. Patient, Henryk waits for a moment to speak with Remmy, not interrupting the lesson until the students would not suffer from distraction.

At his opportune moment, Henryk addresses Remmy:

"Sir, I am Henryk of house Urde, Sword of Tyr, knight-errant to the Temple of the Just God within Baldur's Gate. It would please me if you have heard my name before, within this Camp...for as you may and further may know, I, Henryk, have for more Tendays that you have fingers upon your hands, have offered with reliable regularity a training to any militia and commoners within the Peoples of Tymount, in swordsmanship, in Faith...all in process to uplift and empower these Souls to gain just vengeance in reclaiming what they have lost—land, security, safety, identity. To this end, all training has been an open affair, myself seeking others to give a direct hand in this join affair.

I, myself, have heard word spoken of your Company, and the good work they assume to do, giving aid, alms and more.

It is in this moment that I find you, and come to you, to ask directly unto you: have you ever considered joining in efforts, with myself, and the few others that have come before you to train the Peoples in defense and empowered melee action? Or, is it that you wish to succeed within your own merits, apart and away from what others have begun before you?

For I, Henryk, do see clearly the benefit if all the loose threads are tied together to make a rope of superior strength...and that this taut line may secure the Peoples of Tymount to self-recovery of a just future.

What do you say, good sir?"

Henryk stands proud and still, waiting to see what words come from the tradesman.

The seldom seen moon elf known as Inana Dhaermor has been more frequently north and south of Baldur's Gate, patrolling the Trade Road. For the first several days, she could not be spotted at the refugee camp. However upon watching some of the refugees train with bows, she has stopped several times at the camp to give them pointers and training. Hailing from a mercenary, militaristic background this instruction came naturally to her.

She seemed to be fully aware that these were refugees and not soldiers, but she hinted that training and working for The Golden Arrow Company might help them retake the lands they lost. Her own attempt to inspire them to train harder. Her tactics differed somewhat from Remmy's, focusing instead on running pure accuracy drills rather than hiding and cover. If the refugees with bows managed to combine the two different sets of tactics, they might yet become formidable archers and soldiers.

She rewarded the most accurate of them with bottles of elven wine and encouraged them to share it with their fellow bowmen in training to lift their spirits.

OOC: Approved by DM Golem

IC: The work and reputation of the Golden Arrow rises among the remaining refugees.
