Re: Doron Amar Role-Play
Luthien got out of the Jest with heavy steps, the situation didn't make her happy not even a bit. Only thing she saw reedeming of the situation were the trusted friends at her side. She moved towards the Triune statue with a shovel, starting to dig out her bush of roses. She had the intention to spend some minutes in prayer after picking her bush up, but it was denied to her. In fact, she was almost been denied even the right to reclaim what was lawfully hers. Hastily clawing the ground, to root out the bush, she took it with her bare hands, the thorns piercing her soft skin and feasting on her crimson blood. Then she slowly went away from the place, past the first bridge, sighing in relief while gazing at her spouse and her friends before whispering to herself.
"Inadequate governments and pieces of soil given away to the orcs are not worthy of the blood that is shed to protect them. Only one thing is really worth fighting for, and that is the future"
Before crossing the bridge, Luthien greeted the rangers one last time, then she handed them a few letters, meant for Mealir, Rain, Laya, and Elladyr. The group then left the place for good - neve to return. Yet strangely, the moon was smiling upon them...

Re: Doron Amar Role-Play
Having now heard Councilor Sywyn's proclamation, Laisren now steps before his friend.
"It pains me, that it would take this to bring us together again cousin, even if this moment should be fleeting", he states in a saddened tone. "I had wished your council for sometime and it seems it would now be too late", shaking his head and turning to look for support of his friends standing beside him.
"As you can see we are resolute in our belief that this place has become to dangerous to abide any longer", he says returning his gaze to Sywyn. "I gave my oath when this conflict with the Black Orcs began, that I would not be moved until Councilor Silias return, but she has and the now Orcs stalk just beyond our gates", Laisren states emphatically. "Sywyn, these people need to be brought to safety while this conflict is resolved, peacefully, or not", he states pointing to all of the gathered citizens listening.
"This was our intention, not to undermine your authority brother but these people are innocent and they need to be cared for in a place that will provide them safety." "I gave Lady Luthien the news of this to give only after stating mine and my beloved Saline's wish to be married here, amongst our friends of whom you are counted amongst", Laisren says painfully. "Yet, you have chosen to shun us?", continuing "Why has it come to this friend?".
"If this is to be the way, then let it be so, we can not stand against your decision." "There are things for which I had put into motion while still acting as your captain that you should be made aware. I have gone with our brothers Mendel and Mealir, to find the source of the Sword Teeth's malady and the animals reason for migration. We have, with the help of the Grove, destroyed sources of this malaise known as The Fear". Those areas now move to return to there former state within nature."
"Furthermore, I had contacted the Northern dwarves and have gained their fealty in fighting against the Black Orcs, should it come to such. Seek out the one Nicho, should you need support in your endeavor. I am sorry you would turn us away in spite of our pledge to return and help defend this land from the Orcs. The others from whom I have had the pleasure to serve with, tell them I shall miss their company and was honored to serve with them, as I was with you."
"May your God keep you, and your arrows strike true"
Laisren turns to his friends and moves towards the path away from Doron, for what may be the last time. He does not look back, for now there can only be the future, and those he must now help to protect.

Rhys watchs his cousins leave clearly upset at how things turned. He speaks to himself
"Am sorry to see you leave cousins, no one kicked you out you choose to abandon your citizenship on your own accord and travel your own paths. I hope corellon watchs over you and you vist again as guests when tempers are cooled. Fair winds, light laughter cousins"
He then matters a prayer to the Seldarine before returning to the others.

For the last days, Arionna can be seen either often into Doron Amar's library. If you look at the books she has, it's either on Netherese, on old elven lands before Baldur's Gate, or on vampires. She compulse a lots of notes and books, reading them with concentration. She seems dedicated to her studies.
If not studying, she pass at least an hour or two in the temple, praying and mediating. The rest, she can be seen leaving Doron Amar, fully prepared for battle and coming back covered in mud, blood and dust. The stench of the swamp follows her until she clean her armor and arms.

Black Orcs
A small wood elven woman seems to dash towards Doron Amar from the sharp teeth woods, once she gets stopped by the rangers around the first bridge, she hands them a letter. They are addressed to the three Councilors. She said that it is most urgent that it reaches them. She at last warned them to keep an eye out on the northern border for black orcs... afterwards she left

Re: Doron Amar Role-Play
For the last weeks and even months, Ario can be seen getting more and more the temple. All her free time, even her rest time she pass them in prayer and thought. She gave over the time a sum of around 9,000 gold piece Corellon in encenses and other offerings.
The prayers she utters are done in the silence of her heart, but she seemed to put every will, faith and hope she had into them. Every time she's in the temple, she look most concern, hopefull and concentrate. Sometimes she also sings a bit.
If you pay attentions, here are a few of the songs she signs when she's not deeply in prayers.
The more the weeks passes, the more time she spend in the temple. Even when she is not there, she seems more grave, more strong willed in her training and in her Faith. As the times pass, she slowly changes until yesterday. That day, she purified herself completely, leaving all her belonging except simple vestments out of the temple. She passed long hours in prayer and when she emerges, she had changes. She accepted to sacrifice some of the magic and the powers she develop to become different and carry a even heavier burden. She will regain most of her power through times, but she permanently sacrificed some of her divine potential to try to become a beacon for her people, a hero they could rally to. She accepted the mantel of a Divine Champion of Corellon.

(You're always there from Secret Garden)
When I'm less than I should be
And I just can't face the day
When darkness falls around me
And I just can't find my way
When my eyes don't clearly see
And I stumble through it all
You, I lean upon, you keep me strong
And you rise me when I fall
You are there when I most need you
You are there so constantly
You come shining through, you always do
You are always there for me
When life brings me to my knees
When my back's against the wall
You are standing there right with me
Just to keep me standing tall
Though a burden, I may be
You don't weary, you don't rest
You are reaching out to carry me
And I know I'm elven blessed
You are there when I most need you
You are there so constantly
You come shining through, you always do

When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;

Each restless heart beats so imperfectly;
But when you come and I am filled with wonder,
Sometimes, I think I glimpse eternity.

A trio of Elven undead hunters and servants of Sehanine Moonbow arrived at Doron Amar recently. They came from the south, having traveled through AMN, their journey possibly originating from Tethyr. They were greeted by 3 DA residents and a turban wearing Wizard with an accent.

Elethineth treks quickly between the Friendly Arms Inn, Doron Amar, and the Dharash encampment near Gullykin.
At each she nods in passing to those she recognizes. She slows and pauses before each elven kin she meets asking, "Fair Winds cousin. May I have the pleasure of your company in welcoming our esteemed kin from the South?"
[[
/// In game soon she requires the presence of a few elves. Possibly Tues eve, Thurs day, Fri morning EST (that's as good as I can pre-arrange).
Not looking for a training/war party sized group. No reply necessary, as she did not send any invite pm's. She will contact elves known to her in game by sendings. However, if you don't know her you can pm a rp introduction so she has legitimate contact to make a sending. ///

Re: Doron Amar Role-Play
In the night, a lone messenger travels to Doron Amar, the Order of the Silver Rose and the northern Helzak Dwarves. The message reads.....
"To all those it may concern,
The elves of Dharasha Everae have begun preparations for the movement and defense of our people and their lands. It has been requested that we join in alliance, to work in a great endeavor to stop the rising tide of Orc and Drow. We tell you now that we will stand with all those who would ally themselselves against this great threat.
The Moon's crescent shall soon grace the sky and with it we of Dharasha are to hold exercises to train our minds and bodies to meet these Orcs in combat. We would ask all of those able bodied of your ranks to join us in this endeavor. We must organize and learn to fight in unison, or we and those we defend shall pay dearly for our reticence.
We will await your word within our Gullykin camp."
The letter is not signed.
//OOC:
Planning event for 6-7pm EST, Aug 25th
This is not an arena style fight club event
This is meant to build team work and camaraderie
There will be a single guild competition event.
The rest, teams shall be divided up equally from amongst the ranks of participants.
There will be three training drills, each run twice to assure learning from mistakes.
1.) Capture the Flag
2.) King of the Hill (hold the fort)
3.) Guard the Lord/People (evacuation Drill)
Rules and Protocols will be established and posted in the coming days.
All those whom wish to participate may post within this thread, but you must come from as a rank and file of at least one of these groups. That means don't post Steve, we don't want to hear it, tough (#2)!
Everyone, including DM's, I look forward to your feedback via PM's and I am excited about the possibilities here
It should be a fun IC RP learning expierence that can really give us a both a reason and want to fight by each other's side! I guess we will see......//

The Elestar Elves (calinde and Avereon) seem to have gone missing for quite a few days.. Rumour speaks of Calinde being spotted recently around the Friendly arms Inn though, and strangely for a druid: Within the Shelf of Many books library within the gate, around a moon elven wizard called Selengil harkonsis.

Rhys speaks to everyone
"Although there is much fear an uncertainty in the coming days I feel it's still important to meet new allies a earn new citizens. There is nothing wrong with being scared, worried or angry. As elves where free to feel however we wish as long as we do not let them control us. We will ride what ever fate throws at us like the wind, free and flowing, ever changing and uncontrollable, impossible to enslave. "

Re: Doron Amar Role-Play
A letter is sent to the Doron Amar, addressed to no one in familiar, it reads:
To whom it may concern does Calenglir Nerelven, Hawkeye of Solonor Thelandira sends his regards
Greetings cousins, while I know I am not officially a citizen of Doron Amar, my duty as a Hawkeye of Solonor bids me to look after the well-being of all establishments of the People. As such, I hope you'll forgive me if I may seem to overstep my bounds
I have heard some troubling news. A man that goes by the name of John Roland has informed me (and several other adventurers) that he overheard two elves plotting to kill a Duke of Baldur's Gate. Details are sketchy thus far and I'm afraid I'm not one for interrogation.
I wish to bring this to your attention as the ramifications of such accusations can prove dangerous not just for the establishment, but for every elf living in the Sword Coast.
I hope that you take this information to heart and use it to the best of your knowledge.
Solonor's blessings upon you my cousins
Signed
Calenglir Nerelven, Hawkeye of Solonor Thelandira

Upon having a hand on that letter, Arionna goes to see Catam with it.
"Catam,
I know John Roland, perhaps I might see with him who are the two elves, as both a member of the Mathora and the Radiant Heart, I can't let such a thing happen. It will make a break with the elves and the city that we cannot afford. We already have problems with them because of what happen in the vampire chase.
We should take care of that as soon as possible."

To the Council of Doron Aamar,
I am Rylaedeth Aleanor from The High Forest. My father is Raylaedin Aleanor, the bravest and more experienced arcane archer of my clan. Until today i spent my life in The High Forest. I learned the secrets of archery from the best teacher one can dream to have and explored the depth of the Forest togheter with Talandra Elaendel, an initiate druidess of my clan, born 121 years ago like me. Togheter we had long walks through the Forest, we sneaked amongs the orcs and the other dangers to seek the most beautiful places and rarest animals that are hidden in the depth of our home. Talandra taught me how to sing, we used to sing for the animals, small or large crowds made of birds, bears, squirrels... the performance fascinated them all, mostly because of Talandra’s talent, I’ve never been able to gather a crowd by myself.
As years passed the time to explore with Talandra reduced, I joined the rangers of the clan. As rangers we had specific assignments, zones to patrol and threats to push back. There is no vanity or lie saying that i was already a good archer, considering my young age, and i did well since my first patrol.
Not long ago we went, in a very large group, to fight Daelempish: a dragon that decided to settle in a cave dangerously close to our village. It was the first time i was togheter with my father in my ranger’s duty. The fight was harsh, our priests and druids protected us from the breath of the dragon and from is terrifying presence, capable to inject fear in the bravest elf’s heart. I remember aiming at the dragon’s eye and shooting, looking for the perfect shot arrow after arrow. The beast fought fiercely, sweeping back our fighters with it’s tail, our arrows crashing on the scales like waves on a rocky coastline. I took a deep breath, I aimed and shot, immediately noticing another arrow coming from behind me, flying fast and passing our leader’s throat from side to side. The blood was quickly escaping his body while he kneeled in front of the dragon, the sword in his hand, he never let it go. While our fighters blades finally killed the dragon, Alamizel Elaron, our leader, was dead, and dead were our hearts.
The same night our priest came to visit. He spoke longly, said many times that he was sorry and used many cautious words. Even if it wasnt intentional a murder is a murder: my father had to leave, it didnt matter that the arrow was aimed at the dragon, that it was just a trick of Beshaba. He is banished from the High Forest, and for the sake of our clan’s harmony we also had to leave, my mother, my brother and I.
We left the same night, my family moved to Silverymoon, to my father’s cousin home. I decided to proceed with my travel and now i’m here, exploring the sword coast, and i just found the entrance of this elven community called Doron Amar.
Is my wish to inform you with this letter that I’m always close and ready to help your community in any way my skills allow me to contribute.
My name is Rylaedeth Aleanor, i have no home, and this is my story.
