Re: Doron Amar Role-Play
He walks the trail along the banks of the narrow river cutting through the elven settlement, stopping to check the sentries and watchers, makeshift battlements and alarms. As he have been doing for the past week since the orcish horde had begun their attacks, he makes sure everything is in order as he and the Evereskan rangers prepare to spend another night in quiet vigil. Cold rain masks the sounds of the forest and reduces visibility, with only the river running past him guiding him back to his post.
Lambe makes his way to the southern edge of the settlement, greeting his fellow rangers with a nod as he takes the ladder up to one of the towers watching over the bridge. He takes a moment to survey the other side of the river, as far as the rain would allow his eyes to see. He had received word of the orcs' movements beyond their lines, some of which may still be underway, he thought. Without taking his eyes off the treeline and the muddy trail leading deeper into the Sharpteeth, he speaks to his companions.
"Your elf ears must hear every rustling in the trees, watch out for every flight of the birds. Keep an arrow nocked tonight"
It was going to be another long night...

And the fact that Calinde is gathering leaves around the bridge doesn't help with keeping an ear out. If asked what she is doing, she'll explain that fire is cleansing and will make a great trap that can't be counterspelled.
Once she's done she steps into a large enough tree and disappears for the night, presumably paying a visit to her Sister.

Re: Doron Amar Role-Play
They came down the path, a giant walking in beautiful shinning armor was carrying a small elven body, a powerfully sculpted copper elf, and two very different moon elves both covered in blood, one orc's blood, the other was elven. They were greeted by the Half-Orc Knight of the Radiant Heart, a strangely reassuring sight.
"We bring word, need time to heal our wounded and rest", he says to the Knight. His voice tired his hands trembling from exhaustion, the moon elf pulls back his hood. "And, we come to pay our respects........."

The priestess gently led the female elf along the path with a gentle grip. With concerned eyes, the priestess often gazed back to the elven lady. Arriving at the Jest, they stepped into the room and quietly began to converse. Hours had passed.

Silias opened her palm up and revealed a small stone with an S intercepting a crescent moon. "This is a stone enchanted so that I may be contacted directly by the owner of this stone when necessary. Its secondary means is that it signifies whom my adjunct is."
Teuvaelivae replied to Silias in a curious tone.
"I see. To judge by Laitae's words she would wear it no longer." Teuvaelivae's gaze is locked on the object.
Silias continued to hold it out. "Laitae had previously held it, correct. But, as with time, she no longer owns it. It is a rather powerful tool, in truth."
Teuvaelivae replied in an amused manner.
"It may refrain one from," she paused to smirk, "riding the winds of folly at an ill chosen thyme indeed."
Silias then extended it out to Teuvaelivae with a soft smile. "I would wish for you to hold it."
"Truly I heave read of such objects." Her eyes widen as those words reached her ears; this was clearly unexpected* "...I?"
"My eyes see great potential within you, Sister. It is my wish that you receive this object. It may prove of use in the coming battle."
"Silias are thou certain of this? I always did my utmost and I always fell bound to not reached my goals." Teuvaelivae was unsure.
Silias continued to hold it out patiently for Teuvaelivae. "I have contemplated my decision, Sister. I offer you my utmost regards in such. I wish to bestow it upon you."
The elven girl, Teuvaelivae, rose to her feet, walked closer and reached for it. She did not take it immediately but held her hand over it as she looked Silias directly into the eyes. "What would thou expect of me?"
Silias' words were gentle. She spoke so gently that Teuvaelivae would feel ever so comfortable.
"To forever place trust in yourself. To never offer injustice to those who share our blood. And to forever protect anyone who our Father has created. It is also within my expectations that you always grow stronger, whether failure or success is bestowed upon your actions."
Silias' expression was serious, and her holy symbol began to glow a bright yellow colour.
"Despite hearing.. rather vile words from.. well thou know whom. I felt she was wrong in this. Thou cared for thy kin.. cared for me. One feels such things when they are true."
Silias pulled her hand back and offered Teuvaelivae a faint, content smile. She held her in an embrace for a quiet moment, before she had allowed her to speak her mind, and she folded her arms behind her back.
"It is what I am both born to do, and what I live for, Sister. It is my reason for living."
"I will aid thee and support thee in this. Thou knowst this already," Teuvaelivae said confidently.
"This priestess has no doubts of your motives, Sister. She trusts you."
She spoke assuredly. She spoke as if she was a mother Teuvaelivae could reply upon.
Her eyes darted between the stone and Silias. "There are other shortcommings sister, will thou aid me in conquering them? Such as the one I fell to upon this day.
"
"Place your trust within me, Sister. Know that I have and will always be present to aid you in these struggles." Silias then extended her index finger to press it gently against Teuvaelivae's chest, where her heart is. "I am always here. With the stone, you may contact me whenever you are in need. Even if you simply wish to speak."
She spoke assuredly. She spoke as if she was a mother Teuvaelivae could reply upon.
"Together we shall see this dark tide turn and fade into nought, together we shall bring another golden age into being."
Silias' eyes glinted slightly. "We will show these beings true elven pride."
Teuvaelivae looked down thoughtfully on the spot Silias' finger had touched.
"Mayhap.. aye..." Teuvaelivae seemed to have come to some conclusion in a matter that had pained her for long.
Thus, began a new chapter in Teuvaelivae's story.

An elven scout appears with word for Captain Mealir Ostriel,
"Dharasha and our allies have moved to fortified the high ground, we await your word", the scout gives the message to the Doron's Rangers and awaits reply.

A bear some would recognise as Samuel, Calinde's trusted ally, wandering around Doron Amar. There is a longbow tied to it's fur carefully, yet hastily. This longbow is Calinde's Avereon's Heart Striker.
Calinde herself reveries within the Chapel, recovering from eating a fire bomb to allow Rhys to do the signal in time as a water elemental. Silias, while pretty deaf, has skilled hands and managed to undismember Calinde without scars that won't fade in a few days.

Luthien enters the chapel, heavily limping with her right leg, alongside the young priestess of Sehanine Amarven. After seeing Silias tending to Calinde's wounds, she goes to Rhys, quickly checks him up, and with Amarven's help, quickly casts restorative magics on him to get him back into a healthy shape - or what passes for it, considering the taxing effects of his spellcasting.

Should anyone listen to Calinde's pleas, she'd request an empty parchment and a book on various, light-hearted elven traditions.

Silias would remain periodically visiting Calinde within the Chapel as necessary. Upon receiving her request, she would then quietly exit the Chapel and step forth back to her office. Upon retrieving the objects Calinde had asked for, she would return to Calinde and set them beside her.Hoihe wrote:Should anyone listen to Calinde's pleas, she'd request an empty parchment and a book on various, light-hearted elven traditions.
"Would you require anything to eat, Sister?" the priestess would ask in a serene tone.

Calinde chuckles weakly "Now I understand why Selengil wants to make a ring that makes him immune to starvation." She then sighs "now that you mention, something easily digestible would be welcome."
When alone, Calinde would occasionally scribe upon the parchment a few things. It seems to be gibberish to all but those who can read slyvan. And then, they'd read her writing being some rather basic words, as if she's practicing sylvan.

The priestess and the wizard stood by the river speaking for a short while. The priestess and the wizard would often share a soft laugh as they stood by the river, and an ever-present smile lay upon the priestess' lips. They spoke at length, before Rhys departed for his rest. What they had spoken upon, however, was sure to change Doron Amar's future: a bright, yet uncertain future, lay ahead.BlueHero45 wrote:*Rhys wakes up, weak but alive. During Silias' next visit, Calinde would request her to call for Samuel on the edge of Doron Amar, her bear animal companion, while sporting a handful of meat. The bear carries a longbow atop his back, Calinde's Avereon's heart striker. It is tied to it through it's fur and will take a bit of time to undo. The bear wouldn't show either of the attitude spectrum to Silias, completely neutral to her.
Calinde wll also ask when the festivities and the funerals will be held and request that she is allowed to attend, since she's bedridden for the time being.

Re: Doron Amar Role-Play
[Recounting IG events]
As Selune rose the the sky, Laya came to see Calinde in the chapel. Soon afterwards Silias followed with a tray littered with food. She gave it to Laya for safe keeping and then helped Calinde fulfil her wish: to be finally outside the tight interior!
With much trouble and support from the strong priestess, Calinde was escorted just in front of RHys's tower before she warned that she can't walk any more and they moved over to the benches. There they sat, ate, spoke and otherwise rested the rest of Selune's Reign.
Soon arrived Lathander's reign as both new strength and the dawn broke at the elves. Mealir headed for Rhys's tower, to assess the damage and Calinde finished her meal. Left once again in the company of Laya and Silias, they made the rest of the journey to the tents on the other side of Doron Amar. Laya took a discourse to put the tray away. Calinde slumped over exhausted over the bags by the camp-fire. The food however, gave her some strength. Even for an elf she is rather thin.
There they continued to trade words, even Calinde's bear arrived at the scene and her bow recovered. At last Silias left to care for Rhys and Laya returned. Discussion followed until Tomanlor arrived with a tale: A tale of Inafarill The Great Elven Ranger put to a test by Correlon himself((Or whatever was the name of the elven ranger), a tale of mercy. Exhausted, Calinde crawled over to a tent to get a much needed bout of reverie. But before that, Laya brought a box filled with vials of oils and everything an elf could ever require to keep her bow in shape. With Samuel snoring beside the tent, Calinde couldn't rest for a while and ushered the bear to go somewhere a bit deeper into the forest, but close enough to heed her call without magical help.
