Re: Doron Amar Role-Play
On this night, the 20th day of Kythorn, Year of the Bridle, a sun elf wearing the crescent moon symbol of the holy father Corellon steps into the Forest of Sharp Teeth. His azure blazoned armor shines as he peers under his cowl to look for the direction of an elven settlement for which he had been told. All he finds are filthy orcs.
His curved silver blade drips the blood of the people's sworn enemy as he moves deeper into the wood.

((I can do that as well. As rarely as I play my elf, she's a druid and might have some fun RP guiding your elf to DA and so on.

Re: Doron Amar Role-Play
The gold elf emerges from a reverie that seemed to last days. He stepped out into main room of Evran's jest and stretched out. He paid the keeper his share for the next ten day, thus keeping his armor and belongings safe. He did not know these elves of the continent and he had heard rumors upon the isle that they were not above thievery and other such acts.
Still, he knew those callous young Elves from the Highborn families had not spent a day upon the continent and would not truly offer any proper insight. He watched as the keeper smiled and put the silver within an open basket on the shelf behind him. "Hmm...", he did not realize he had audibly spoken out. "What's that?", the keeper asked. "Oh, tis nothing, I am simply observing your customs", the gold elf told the keeper who in turn gave him a funny look.
When the elf stepped out of the Jest, his eyes burned as the noon sun's rays rained down upon him. How long was I in reverie, he thought, it was still but midnight when the Priestess of Mielikki guided me to this place. He felt the soreness where the Werewolves had struck his armor platting. He was lucky to have found the priestess when he did, perhaps for them both.
The gold elf adjusted his eyes, kissed his crescent emblem of Corellon and strode off to now find the keepers of this village in the wood.......

Rhys has spent the last few days in deep study, when finally leaving the arcane tower recently he is seen using his arms to protect his eyes from the now glaring sun. He makes his way to the inn for some much needed food.

Re: Doron Amar Role-Play
The elf walks about the shrill sounds of crickets and song birds, feeling the warm breeze upon his face. His robes began to cling to his strong frame as he walked, the humidity of this land was perplexing and oppressing but it's beauty remained a true testament to these elves resilience and planning. As he walked across the bridge of cascading water, a sudden passionate calm came to his being.
He stood underneath the shadow cast by a large elven tower he had been brought up thinking implausible for this land. These elves were more capable than he had imagined, as he stepped into the small temple, with it's alters to the pantheon of the Seladrine. Enthralled with it's simplicity and homeyness, he stood before the alter of the all father and meditated.
When finished, he moved back toward the inn of his current occupancy and there he saw his first kin of note. "Greetings to you my brother, I am Andariel of the House E'lyanduil, first of his name to step foot on this continent in centuries time", he said in a diplomatic tone and offered a gentile bow..........

Re: Doron Amar Role-Play
After a lengthy discussion on matters of local lore, Andariel thanks Councilor Rhys. "I am grateful for your hospitality Councilor and may you build a temple worthy of our great gods in all their grandeur but I must now depart for the very reasons we discuss", he tells the Councilor while bowing his head. "I hope to see you again but till then, may you have fair winds and sweet waters, Rhys of Doron Amar", he says and dutifully turns toward the inn to collect his things.
Stepping to the bridge before the gate, he nods to the omnipresent rangers, pulls forth his cowl, speaks the words arcane and disappears from view. His journey appears far from over, though the Lord Corellon had provided him a spark. "Thank you father", he whispers to himself as he treads over the earth on the path leading him into the vast expanse of the untamed north.

After a few hours of dragging and pulling, Tyressen pulls the anvil to its new rightful resting place. He looks to Rhys, and they speak off in the distance.
"If you could have levitated it, why was I asked to move it?"
Tyressen asks with a twitch in his temple, very annoyed. He lets out a sigh and simply shakes his head with sweat running down his face.
"Well... At least it looks good."
He takes a moment to look at his work, and the long dragging path left by the anvil.

Re: Doron Amar Role-Play
Sjinn emerges from the shadows near the front gate and saunters back into Doron Amar this midday, smoothing out his nightblue tunic as he does. He approaches Tyressan and Rhys as they work on rearranging the anvil and, once they have a pause in conversation, says casually, "That Valiant fop had the gall today to exclaim he was going to murder my family, I took that to mean the other members of Doron and elfkin... and all because I told him to take a walk off a short pier in full armor. Anyways... I stabbed him afterwards... but he's not dead. I don't think. Just thought you should know.". The young elf shrugs, then waits for a reply before casually strolling back out of the elven settlement.

Hoihe Dacino arrives from the woods, wearing black leathers with a black wide brimmed hat on his head, almost unnaturally hiding his face. On his forearms are elven bracers, on his feet boots of elvenkind and on his back a cape of elvenkind. In his hands were a pair of short swords, which he sheathed upon coming close to Doron Amar's gates. As he did, his breathing became more apparent to the ears, and the foilage hid him less. He removed his hat and greeted the Rangers, taking out a pair of envelopes sealed with his personal seal.
He calls out to them in elven: "Greetings, sons and daughters of Correlon! I'd like to enlist your aid in delivering these high-importance letters to Sjinn and the Council. I'd be very grateful if they've got them soon."
After handing over the letters, he dons his hat once more and walks off into the Sharp Teeth, bidding farewell as he unsheathes the pair of shortswords: "May the Daughter of the Night skies hide Doron Amar in a Luminous Cloud against her enemies, and guide its People to prosperity under the blessing of the night sky, the moonlight. I wish you fair winds and sweet waters."

Re: Doron Amar Role-Play
Sjinn leaves a note on Rhys desk, it reads:
Rhys,
Does the name 'Bey Al-Kursi' mean anything to you? There have been two incidents with necromancers in about as many days and the common denominator is that name. The first encounter was bungled by some idiots and the only information we received was the name 'Bey Al-Kursi'. The second encounter happened today. I wasn't there but at least the group that encountered the necro managed to have a conversation and pry some information from her. Apparently the necromancer mentioned something about Myrkul as well. I've already passed the name off to Hoihe, but do you have any texts floating around on the subject?

The young elf blinks, then a thoughtful expression crosses his face before he nods. "Thanks Rhys, I'm going to go talk to Hoihe and see what else he's found.". It isn't long before Sjinn can be seen melting into the shadows of the Sharpteeth woods.

Rhys seems to enjoy the labor involved with the new temple. It is rare he get to use his hands for anything other than writing and spell casting. Its not shocking to see Rhys with a smile while working.
