A few days ago a golden haired sun elf had moved her belongings to the village, leading a procession of a white palfrey mare and two rouncies.
Showing her new pin of citizenship to any ranger who might be asking, and introducing herself; Lylan'Synor, a sailor, a dancer and a fencing master and teacher. Making sure to tell each that will they need any of her skills they need naught but ask.
* * * *
In the following days the Ar-Tel'Quessir can be seen each morning following a habitual start to her days she spends around the village.
At dawn, the Sun Elf prays to Hanali Celanil, to Corellon Larethian and to one different god of the Seladrine every morning.
Finished with her prayers. She will walk outside the village gates to the grove past the bridge and spread the next hours dedicated between training her dancing, her fencing and a combination of the two, inviting anyone inspired to join her.
* * * *
When she finish training, four times a week, she will follow the trail outside the village to Hanali's glade to tend it. Lylan'Synor would feed the birds, trim plants off of infected or sick leaves and branches, make sure the underbrush is cleared just enough so the ground gets enough sunlight, and she respectfully leave the pool be. Before returning to the Village.

A gradual change, albeit probably temporary, would meet a certain Sun elven warrior's routine,
Rarer would be the instances when he returns to the village bloody and battered to clean himself from his endless training routine.
Instead it would now seem that the library became his new training ground - he would spend much time in there of late, sometimes accompanied by a certain Moon elven druidess, sometimes he would be alone, seeking fervently after something, or somethings that would not relent their grip over his attention.

In the twelve days that had passed since a certain incident near the Arms Inn, a rather large elf (... well, large for an elf, at least) who had been playing volunteer guard duty, could be seen rather active in and around the village during that time.

After about the third day of tending to his post and conversing quietly with the rangers, the decidedly stoic elf would seem to become, perhaps somewhat uncharacteristically, slightly restless as he stood watch. It would be only a day after that that he could be seen stowing his set of heavy armor away, and delving into deeper discussions with the rangers, while sporting a second elven longsword to join the other already sheathed on his hip. Even more notable, perhaps, is that he no longer carries any of his array of curved greatswords.

Image

On the morning of the fifth day, any guards or residents who passed near the main gates would likely notice something notably different about the heavily built wood-kins routine... specifically: him sprinting up and down the bank, on the opposite side of the river, while under the watchful gaze of the sentries at the bridge. Starting at the fallen tree near the wooden walls, Damariel(whose name would surely be well known to the guards by now) would race as fast as he could, leaping over logs and stumps towards the wooden statues at the bridge. Once there, he would tap the end of the northern statues staff, and sprint right back. This seems to go on for candle-marks on end some days, but the large elf does not so much as utter a single complaint. And so by the eighth day, and the third of these exercises, Damariel might be seen(while sweating profusely, to the point of being drenched) enacting the woodland longstride... and finishing the course in about two-thirds his usual time.

Image

By the tenth day of his visit, Damariel can be seen resuming his post near the gates, although this time he is sporting a glimmering mithral breastplate. He seems far less restless as he did before, and could even be seen busying himself by practicing other 'woodly' incantations while standing watch, all under the seeming mentor-ship of at least three to four different Rangers of Doron Amar.

Image
On the eve of the twelfth day of his stay, the wood-kin once warrior, and now seeming ranger in training, would lift a gloved fist from his heart and towards the rangers while tugging a simple cloth hood over his head. Once on the bridge, Damariel incants a series of wards over himself, the mithral sheen of his armor taking on a midnight tint, while his skin morphed into an aspen-bark hue. The quiet rumble of his voice would ebb backwards as he glanced back over his shoulder then...

"With your permission, I would wish to return in a day or two and continue our discussions. Hopefully, by then, a sparring partner capable of instructing me in the use of my off-hand might arrive. For now, I feel the need to stretch my legs and see to turning over this new leaf more thoroughly..."

2nd of Mirtul 1356 DR

A curious sight could be witnessed in the elven village on this spring-time afternoon. A red-headed man entered the village in the company of the resident Councilor, and a white-haired elven maid, recognizeable as Alarielle and Atria. The man proceeded to be escorted through the entirety of the village, including a tour of the grand tower, and the library and study within.

Some time after the trio entered the tower, a commotion formed, carrying with it an air of urgency. The two elves could be spotted rushing out of the tower, carrying the man between them. In a flash of arcane energy all three of them disappeared, though not before a deep and sinister voice could be heard, shouted by the carried man.

"You dare shield him from me?! This is what happens when you foolish mortals try to take what is mine!"

Rumor spread through and outside the small and peaceful elven village about a woman named 'Lian' which was imprisoned upon her visit to the village and is to be executed for charges of prohibited dabbling in the dark arts.

It is also rumored that a certain sun elven warrior known as 'Ell'adir' had turned himself to be executed aswell - for his refusal to stand aside and let Lian be executed in such a manner.

A few people are seen asking about Ell'adir and Lian by the bridge of Doron Amar waterfall, a somewhat heated discussion was had before it dispersed, with more than one insult thrown around.

... the gates of Doron Amar would see a noticeable increase in activity, as of late. Numerous elves might be seen taking up watchful posts, be it day or night, while paying close attention to whomever visited, particularly those not familiar to the village, or of The People....

You would of seen a young sun elf come in with a bear. The bear waits in the forest while she seems to go get supplies and then heads back into sharpteeth.

The pale moon elf known as Boots is seen coming and going a bit more frequently as of late. She speaks with the rangers, those that once served and fought the wars long ago beside and under her command and some of the new replacements to those that had fallen. Then she talks a little some of the security increases... nodding her head to a grouchy elf that likely wouldn't be too far away also keeping watch.

She also wanders into the town hall building and grumbles as she digs through old paperwork... taking notes on a few more things and adding it to her mental journal.

During these visits, one she always stops at the memorial and sits down and whispers quietly. Not to her feet but as if speaking to a friend that is only seen by her. She always takes a sip from a flask of Apple Cider in his honor and then pours a bit of it there at the base in a salute to an old friend lost.

... after word of a recent calamity that struck a caravan past the Forest of Wyrms, a certain slender elf, draped head to toe in black attire, would be seen racing through the Sharpteeth towards Doron Amar.

Any who arrived during this time would easily notice a new heightened tension about the place, and a noticeable buzz of activity that travels throughout the village.

Erevans Jest.

A distinct string of elven expletives might be heard erupting from within the tavern in Doron Amar, although they quiet shortly there afterward, as the sound of a softly strummed lute seems have given the cursing pause.

Only those within the tavern would be privy to the small gathering that followed suit, as an Elven Bardess, a blue cloaked elf, and the Councillor of the village quietly spoke in hushed tones (in between bouts of the blue cloaked ones supposed gawking, which is a preposterous notion, at best)...

... although it might take a while for the trio to complete their discussion, for whatever reason, they eventually manage to disperse.
The blue cloaked elf seems the last to depart. (perhaps for obvious reasons)
