Warlock invocation dcs.

I believe it was reported months ago and appears to be still broken.
DC is supposed to be 15 + ESL + Cha.
Noxious Eldritch Chain, charisma +6 == DC 22.
ESL of chain is +5, ESL of noxious is 6, so it should be 15 + 5..6 + 6 = 26..27.

Will be fixed coming patch. There was a bitmasking bug.

That explains why I had such a hard time getting my DC warlock to work properly :p

Why is there a bitmasking?
It should be min/max comparison (when there's both shape and essence) with switch/case to determine invocation ESL (there's no pattern in ESL distribution).

The game uses bitmasking to store the metamagic types that are applied on a spell. Shapes and essences are metamagics in the game's mechanics.

Did the patch go live? There doesn't seem to be any changes in
warlock DCs since the last time I checked them...

I picked up ability focus (invocation) but it didn't seem to add the +2 to DCs that it was supposed to. Is that part of the same bug?

Still broken. While the base calculation seems to be better, fiendish power does not affect DCs. It should.

Now THAT is going to have to be answered by someone currently playing a
Warlock!

Well since Valefort asked I have a couple points:
So my lock should have a dc of 28 (15+7CHR+6ESL ((noxious/repellent blasts)) = 28).
Her DC is currently 24. Hopefully soon to be fixed as previously mentioned.
Now, how about overcoming spell resistance. It seems that Warlocks have a harder time overcoming spell resistance than your typical caster with high caster levels. Most locks are mostly pure or high level locks but seem to not overcome spell resist very well...am I imagining things (vitriolic note included)? How is the Locks blast calculated against SR?
And on another note going off topic for some comical relief- can someone explain in detail what kind of karate chop the monks use to deflect an Eldritch blast??

6 ESL ? Ah I guess equivalent spell level ?
The DC for an invocation is 10 + equivalent spell level + Warlock's Charisma modifier as far as I know so .. what is your 15 ?

But wait!
If the
DC is 10 + ESL + CHA mod, what about:
Ability Focus (Invocations)
Warlock 1
Your Invocations gain +2 DC (does not apply to Eldritch Blasts)
Would that not mean that Eldritch Doom would be 10 + 8 (esl) + CHA (let's say 10 for 30 CHA)
+ 2 (ability focus) =
30 DC on that Reflex save the Invocation gives?!?
or just calculate: 10 + 8 + 2 (af) + X (cha) = 20 + CHA mod. ?!?
Anyway, I guess the theory here is that because a
Warlock has unlimited uses per rest of his/her invocations, the DCs fall about 10 pts short—average— of a good
DC arcane/divine caster, right?
