Background: Mawl quickly learned at a tender age that if you weren't quick you went hungry. Out of all the small orclings mawl learned to be the quickest to the table for dinner. As he grew his extreme viciousness and bloodthirsty demeanor almost outstripped his gluttony... almost. He grew into a large Massive Orc with an enormous girth from his dining habits. Although some would say fat by human standards Mawl continues to move with a speed and grace unmatched by his peers.

Mawl's role in his tribe was a natural extension of his favorite pastime: eating anything that could be considered edible and even a few that aren't. He is a cook for the blood claw clan and stories are told to frighten little orclings that if they misbehave they might end up in one of Mawl's stews.
