She is a Feral Elven Druidess. More animal-like in her behavior, she appears nervous, scared and untrusting around most. Dressed in hides and leathers she sewn together herself but prefers to be naked as she feels it’s more natural. She wears a black braided leather necklace around her neck which she has tied her stone signifying her as a member of the Druid Grove. Other gems she has been given recently by Mendel are also now tied on the necklace making it look much like a gem studded collar.

Personality Profile:
She is caring, loving and shy and acts very much like an animal especially in frightening situations where her “Fight or Flight” response is most noticeable. Very untrusting of other races and strangers is clearly evident, especially around Orcs whom she hates with a passion. She prefers the forest and natural surroundings as opposed to cities and especially any enclosed areas which make her act like a caged animal. Being quite intelligent she is a fast learner, save for her primitive language skills, which seem to frustrate those that don’t want to or don’t take the time to figure out. Her outlook on life is simple and currently unmolested by the greed and jadedness of civilization. Placing no real value yet on gold or valuable items, and tends to give them away freely to those she trusts. She places a high value on the “Pack”, a word she interchanges for family or group of friends whom she is very loyal and protective of. As well as using words like “Pups” to mean younglings, babies and even Halflings which she is found of because of their small stature. She also tends to be very submissive to those she regards as “Leaders of the Pack” both male and female and follows them around happily.

General Health: Very Good considering her upbringing.
Deity: Devout of Silvanus
Initial Alignment: Neutral leaning more towards good.
Profession: Protector of the Forests
Base Class & Proposed Development: Pure Druid , Dragon, Shifter. Currently prefers animal forms feeling safer and stronger while shifted.
Habits/Hobbies: Hunting, Fishing, Living off the land.. and especially Staring Intently at others as if trying to see into their soul… watching their facial expressions, body language and mannerisms in hopes of understanding who they are and their intentions. As well as learning from them things like languages etc.
Languages: Common, Elven, Druidic, Animal, Draconic … Animal being her most developed language… all of the others are still in the early development stages as she learns them from conversational use and practice. Speaking in third person usually. She can’t read or write any of them aside from very simple words and her name.
Weapon of Choice: Teeth and Claws. She prefers a Long Bow when unshifted and if nessesary a spear or scimitar.

Background:
Born in a small secluded elven village in the Deep forest of the Sharp Teeth. She takes after her mother, a beautiful wood elven druidess of Silvanus named Sae’Kabael meaning “Wood Dragon Guardian” whom she was very close to. Her father a duel-wielding Scimitar Ranger of Mielikki named Tahl’Ryl meaning “Blade Hunter” whom she looked up to and admired greatly for his strength and battle prowess. She learned well the ways of a druid and ranger of the forest as well as several languages up to the age of about 5 years old.

This is when things took a turn for the worst. A large band of Black Orcs seiged their village killing all within. She watched in horror as her father fell first defending her and her mother in their peaceful home. Her mother screamed for Nai to RUN! Then shifting into a dragon and fending off the orcs that now turned on her. She fought them off just long enough for Nai to escape into the trees where she watched her mother fall to their bloody axes and spears. There were just too many of them as they overwhelmed the entire village then burning it to the ground.

Nai ran and ran deeper and deeper into the forest as fast as her little feet could carry her. Using the survival skills taught to her by her parents she learned to survive in the wilds alone. For the next 120 years she lived peacefully among the animals of the forest. Only taking and using what was needed and caring for the land, trees and animals. She learned the ways of the wolf, bear and other woodland creatures and some accepted her into their “packs”. Occasionally she would be privileged to speak with the dryads who would show themselves to her as she venerated Silvanus through deeds and prayer.

One day while hunting she came upon a lone arctic wolf pup, scared and emaciated with no mother in sight. How the arctic wolf ended up in the deep forest is still a mystery. She took him in and cared for him and named him Nimcarak meaning “White Fang”. From then on the two were inseparable. She guards Nim with her life as if he is her child.

Until the fateful day the Black Orcs showed themselves once again, as they were on the move towards the Elven village of Doron Amar. They pushed her out of her peaceful forest and thrust her into the civilization known as the Sword Coast. Alone and afraid in this new environment she would hide behind trees and in bushes watching intently all of the different races interact with each other.

Goals:
To learn how to survive in civilization and learn to speak properly, read and write all of the languages she currently knows.

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts:
• She Hates Orcs and doesn’t differentiate between half, full or subrace.
• Unknown to her and others, she has a living older brother in the area actively looking for her who wears the family braided leather necklace exactly like her own.
• Her and her mother’s names are made up of three first names instead of a prefix and suffix also a family tradition.

One of the first people that took interest in her was Celduil, the high Ranger of the Elder Circle. He coaxed her out of her hiding gently and she began following him around like a lost puppy. Soon she began developing feelings for him. Feelings she did not understand as this was all new to her. He invited her to become a member the Elder Circle, also known as the Druid’s Grove. She wanted very much to be part of their “Pack” but first she would have to pass a series of tests which she took very seriously. Failing the test of strength in battle at first, she kept trying until she finally passed with him looking on in the shadows. All the while her feelings for him developing into her first crush or puppy love. Until the one day when she met his mate and her fragile heart was nearly broken. She immediately became submissive to the two and tried to forget how she felt about him by distancing herself from him.

Then one day she was hiding in the bushes in the FAI area listening to two Elves and a Dwarf discussing the Orc war. Laisren, Mendel and a strange Dwarf named Durin. Laisren noticing her hiding asked her to come forward. He didn’t seem hostile but she was still wary of the three but came out of the bushes anyway. She told them of what happened to her family and why she was there now. “Orc Kill Nai Pack”, she said with a growl. Laisren was patient and kind and the Dwarf Durin was… scaring the hell out of her offering her pickled Orc Feet which she promptly turned down. Then there was Mendel, so quiet and stoic, he intrigued her. She stared into his eyes as if trying to stare into his soul. Something drew her to him but then she didn’t know what.

She was traveling through the Halfling village of Gullykin one day and being lost, spotted the forest and headed straight for it, not knowing the dangers that awaited her beyond the safety of the small town. Laisren hearing her casting stopped her thankfully and invited her into their small camp nearby. Luthien was warm and inviting to her and took the time to try and speak with and understand her. Once again Mendel was there quiet and stoic as usual seeming to be in Reverie at the time. She asked Laisren about him and learned he was fond of wine. Not ever experiencing wine she equated it to the effects of bad mushrooms. “Bad mushrooms make bad hunt” she said scolding him. Laisren offered her to be in their “pack”, they didn’t speak very much about it at the time though. Laisren then asked her, in so many words she thought, to break Mendel of his wine habit. Her being drawn to him, this task was impossible to refuse.

She next saw Mendel in the Fai at the auctioneer doing some “trading” as she called it and began to stalk him. Unknown to her, he spotted her behind the merchant stall and slipped into a shadow then ending up behind her. He whispered from the shadows “why are you stalking me?”. She jumped and almost tripped over herself as she was caught. She was shaking like a leaf as she stood there and tried to explain herself. “Lais say help Mendel” “Mendel no Mushroom” “Mushroom make bad Hunt”. She then tried to explain about the wine which he took as she wanted some and offered her his flask of wine to her. She offered him a trade of some Leaves in hopes he would eat them to “detoxify” his body from the alcohol. Happy with herself for procuring the flask, she went on her merry way taking the flask with her. She went hunting for Laisren to give him the flask, as If it was her prize and proof of her quest that he sent her on. He couldn’t believe it when she handed it him. “How did you get this flask from Mendel?” He asked with shock on his face. She answered with a shrug saying very simply, “Mendel give to Nai”. Little did he know she poured out the wine and replaced it with healthy fruit juices and herbs.

She began following the Elves of En Dharasha Everae “The Elves of the North” around getting to know them and hunting with them. Especially Mendel, with whom she started to develop strong feelings for.
