Her outlook on life is simple and currently unmolested by the greed and jadedness of civilization. Placing no real value yet on gold or valuable items, and tends to give them away freely to those she trusts. She places a high value on the “Pack”, a word she interchanges for family or group of friends whom she is very loyal and protective of. Background:
Born in a small secluded elven village in the Deep forest of the Sharp Teeth. She takes after her mother, a beautiful wood elven druidess of Silvanus named Sae’Kabael meaning “Wood Dragon Guardian” whom she was very close to. Her father a duel-wielding Scimitar Ranger of Mielikki named Tahl’Ryl meaning “Blade Hunter” whom she looked up to and admired greatly for his strength and battle prowess. She learned well the ways of a druid and ranger of the forest as well as several languages up to the age of about 5 years old.
This is when things took a turn for the worst. A large band of Black Orcs seiged their village killing all within. She watched in horror as her father fell first defending her and her mother in their peaceful home. Her mother screamed for Nai to RUN! Then shifting into a dragon and fending off the orcs that now turned on her. She fought them off just long enough for Nai to escape into the trees where she watched her mother fall to their bloody axes and spears. There were just too many of them as they overwhelmed the entire village then burning it to the ground.
Nai ran and ran deeper and deeper into the forest as fast as her little feet could carry her. Using the survival skills taught to her by her parents she learned to survive in the wilds alone. For the next 120 years she lived peacefully among the animals of the forest. Only taking and using what was needed and caring for the land, trees and animals. She learned the ways of the wolf, bear and other woodland creatures and some accepted her into their “packs”. Occasionally she would be privileged to speak with the dryads who would show themselves to her as she venerated Silvanus through deeds and prayer.
One day while hunting she came upon a lone arctic wolf pup, scared and emaciated with no mother in sight. How the arctic wolf ended up in the deep forest is still a mystery. She took him in and cared for him and named him Nimcarak meaning “White Fang”. From then on the two were inseparable. She guards Nim with her life as if he is her child.
Until the fateful day the Black Orcs showed themselves once again, as they were on the move towards the Elven village of Doron Amar. They pushed her out of her peaceful forest and thrust her into the civilization known as the Sword Coast. Alone and afraid in this new environment she would hide behind trees and in bushes watching intently all of the different races interact with each other.
Goals:
To learn how to survive in civilization and learn to speak properly, read and write all of the languages she currently knows.
