Azmodeth - Retired Frostmage, Abandoned all she had and left without warning.
*Azmodeth relaxes and concentrates, building up her Frostarmor and the cold around her, she thinks proudly to the heart of ice, and when she opens her eyes, the winged demon is gone.
*Without a second of concern, they gather in the circle and depart Azmodeth's soul.waking up once again at FAI.
Azmodeth - Retired Frostmage, Abandoned all she had and left without warning.
Azmodeth, metaphorically , comes to the point where she must make this choice...
In an effort to continue searching her soul, she Ventures forth.
Azmodeth recognizes in this summer, she must sacrifice much and move on.
She must forget much of what she cared about, in order to survive, but there are things she must remember and NEVER forget!
Azmodeth begins to spend some time in the Crystal Cave, a tough but necessary journey to attune her heart of cold, and bind it to her sword and soul.
Azmodeth has been studying spells, form the Codicil of Ice left at the temple of Ice near Naskel.
One particular spell of note, Azmodeth begins studying was the Heart of Ice
The Heart of Ice:
7th Level Spell
Heart of Ice (Necromancy)
Sphere: Combat, Necromantic
Range: Touch
Components: S
Duration: Permanent
Casting Time: 1 round
Area of Effect: One creature
Saving Throw: Special
This spell requires intense concentration and can only be delivered by touch, requiring a successful touch attack roll to deliver on any but totally immobilized opponents. Victims turn black, are covered by a thin sheen of white frost, and instantly begin to shiver uncontrollably, making spellcasting, attacks, or any other activity except falling in a certain direction or shouting impossible. Victims must make a successful saving throw vs. death magic or die, as their hearts freeze and shatter. Those who successful save suffer 5d8 points of internal damage instead, but as a side effect are also rendered immune to all cold damage for 1 turn per level of the caster of the heart of ice. Creatures normally able to exist in frigid conditions (including priests of Auril, white dragons, remorhaz, winter wolves, and creatures from the Para-elemental Plane of Ice) are immune to this spell or suffer only 1d4+1 points of damage from internal bruising.
