Background:
Amano is a recent transplant from the island country of Wa, across the sea. She grew up a bushi, or a samurai warrior under a minor lord. She was trained by an old guard bushi, who was a man of war forced into an era of peace. As such, some of that attitude rubbed off on her. When her training was almost complete, her lord made a mistake in court, and commited seppuku, or ritual suicide, to cleanse his honor. Now finding herself a ronin, she had nothing left. Being somewhat uncomfortable being relegated into an administrative role, she made the choice to become an adventurer. However, due to the current peace in Wa, there was no call for a wandering adventurer. Due to that, she booked passage to Baldur's Gate to seek adventure and regain Face for herself.
Recently, she has rediscovered the remnants of the Golden Army, whom she did some mercenary work for back in Wa, when she assisted with the civil war in the House of the Crimson Blade. She has agreed to lead them as Daimyo, to help them find a place on the Sword Coast.
